“Put Victoria with two Alpha brothers, and wow, oh wow, your socks will be knocked off.”
First a Marine, then a black ops agent, Victoria Morgan knows the military is where she belongs…until a sniper’s bullet changes her life. Trying to prove she’s not washed up, she rescues a young man from kidnappers. When the dying boy transforms into a cougar—and bites her—she learns of an entire hidden … entire hidden society. He begs her to inform his grandfather of his death and to keep the secret of the shifters’ existence. She can’t refuse, but what if the creatures pose a danger to the country she swore to protect?
As guardian of the shifter territory, Calum McGregor wields the power of life and death over his people. When a pretty human female arrives in their wilderness town, he and his littermate become increasingly concerned. Not only is the little female hiding something, but she is far more appealing than any human should be.
While investigating the shifters, Victoria begins to fall in love with the werecat brothers and the town as well. For the first time in her life, she might have a real home. Her hopes are crushed when a deadly enemy follows her from the city, and the shifters discover she knows their secret. Now nobody is safe—least of all Victoria.
With a fantastic heroine, two yummy heroes and a whole host of fun side characters… this slick paranormal romance came at me out of nowhere and knocked my socks off.

I enjoyed the entire series son far. Hoping for another really soon!
This is the first book of the Wild Hunt Legacy Series. I was hooked. The characters are strong and complement each other. Values are prominent — family, friendship, love. In less than a month I have reread this book multiple times and the other books as well.
Got a little bit old. By the time they really got it developed I was almost ready to quit the book. Need some development on her storyline
First book in the series! Wonderful! You MUST read them in order or you miss the adventure and character building. These guys are dark, tragic but so deserve the soulmate they find!
Really enjoyed the story line and always love a good strong female character and the stronger men to handle them.
Fantastic, love all of Cherise’s books!
I loved it! It was an action packed and steamy read
Great book.
I had a hard time connecting to Victoria in a way that reconciles all the parts written into her facts. Her handler struck me as an almost love interest until the near-end of the book when it’s explicitly written that he’s a father figure. Marine, vague spy thing that got into business where she shouldn’t (I think… the opening of the book isn’t explained)…
Loved this book
Very entertaining and love it
With a mix of Fae, magic, shifters, and spies, HOUR OF THE LION was quite the enchanting tale! Alec, Calum, and Victoria have one exciting “courtship” if you will, and with an entertaining secondary cast of characters..this was hard to put down. Paranormal elements, sexy scenes, and amusing yet heartfelt characters..Sinclair has managed to mix up a captivating read!
This is not my usual fare but it sounded interesting and it was. The author built the story and explained the circumstances. There are many sex scenes but that’s not what made the story interesting. You have to accept that people can change into mountain lions and bears and keep reading. Actually it was a really good story and I wouldn’t mind reading more. I did get the next book but haven’t gotten into it yet. This author is a good writer. The story flows, not a lot of unnecessary text.
Pretty good. Worth the tine
If you haven’t read a book by Cherise Sinclair, I highly recommend them. She builds fabulous worlds which she thankfully shares with us. Victoria comes to a small town to deliver a message to an older gentleman that his grandson passed away. What she doesn’t realize is that the town is full of shifters and the grandson gave her more than just a message. Enjoy the book.
I’m addicted to the works of Ms. Sinclair. This book never lost steam from beginning to end.
I love this book.
If you like snap shifters you will like this book.
Loved it!!
Book would have been better if it were shorter. Too long, with out moving the story along.
