“Put Victoria with two Alpha brothers, and wow, oh wow, your socks will be knocked off.”
First a Marine, then a black ops agent, Victoria Morgan knows the military is where she belongs…until a sniper’s bullet changes her life. Trying to prove she’s not washed up, she rescues a young man from kidnappers. When the dying boy transforms into a cougar—and bites her—she learns of an entire hidden … entire hidden society. He begs her to inform his grandfather of his death and to keep the secret of the shifters’ existence. She can’t refuse, but what if the creatures pose a danger to the country she swore to protect?
As guardian of the shifter territory, Calum McGregor wields the power of life and death over his people. When a pretty human female arrives in their wilderness town, he and his littermate become increasingly concerned. Not only is the little female hiding something, but she is far more appealing than any human should be.
While investigating the shifters, Victoria begins to fall in love with the werecat brothers and the town as well. For the first time in her life, she might have a real home. Her hopes are crushed when a deadly enemy follows her from the city, and the shifters discover she knows their secret. Now nobody is safe—least of all Victoria.
With a fantastic heroine, two yummy heroes and a whole host of fun side characters… this slick paranormal romance came at me out of nowhere and knocked my socks off.

It was a steamy read, but very drawn out. It took a lot of (what seems to be) unnecessary time setting up the heroine and all the characters are very dense and would benefit from a class or two on assertive behavior. About seventy give pages could have been spared if the brothers communicated with each other. The prose keeps your attention and we’re saved the annoying typos normally found in e-reads. All in all, four stars.
I love stories about shifters! This one had a different twist. Very erotic! Looking forward to reading more in the series.
Throughly enjoyed this book!
I enjoyed the love-story
It’s hard to take a genre that is very popular and keep it interesting. This is one of those books.
Loved it!!
Not as good as I would have thought.
Good read. Worth the time. Well written.
Its a good read makes you want to read thrme rest of the series Im on book 3
Loved it. I just love Kristen Ashley. The way she writes is different but oh so good. If you haven’t read one of her books, try just one. I have read everyone and almost every one twice. Can’t wait for the next one!!!!!!!!!
I actually am still reading it. I am fascinated by it. I highly recommend.
I love shifter books and this packed a double wallop. Steamy and addicting.
Love this author and this great book.
A good read with lots of action and a HEA. It was a bit annoying that she kept changing the name of the cat – mountain lion, lion, panther. Lion isn’t the same but it would have made more sense to use one cat rather than trotting out the thesaurus.
I loved this book! Read it in one sitting because it was so much … fun, intrigue, just everything. The family interactions were true to life, no matter what your ‘family’ consists of! Miscues, misconceptions, miscommunication, about the only “mis’ there wasn’t much of was ‘missionary’! Not the first shifter three-some that I’ve read, but probably the first where the non-shifter female was ‘almost’ as badass as the two males. Can’t wait to add the next book to my Nook.
great read
This shifter book is somewhat different from other types like this. She is and ex-marine, non-shifter, and she’s thrown in a cage with a sickly boy who happens to be a shifter. He was kidnapped and wants her to notify his grandfather if he should die. Frankly she’s freaked out by the situation. See what happens when she goes to cold creek to find his family.
its a happy ever after of 2 men and 1 women..but in a strange way it works
