Ever met the deliciously hot boss from Hell? No?Well, meet Curtis James, jerk of the century born with a silver spoon in his mouth and a golden stick straight up his a$$.And three words I would never have expected him to say, “I need your help.”I am not going to lie, I nearly died of shock. My boss with the perfect straight jawline probably inherited from the Gods, with a gift for rapping … inherited from the Gods, with a gift for rapping instructions faster than Eminem, is actually asking for my help…
To babysit…
In his freaking mansion…
It seems like he, unfortunately, needs to keep his sister’s two devil spawn alive for one weekend (his words, not mine).
So, put yourself in my shoes. Would you have refused when there was a huge bonus involved along with two cute little kids?
Plus, what could possibly happen in two days that has not happened in two years?
And to be honest, I hate my boss. So, this is going to be so easy peasy… NOT.
Because OMG, why the ever-living hell was Curtis James wearing only a swim trunk!?
Did he not know that’s a complete blasphemy with that gorgeous rock hard body of his?
And no, I don’t even care whether that’s appropriate wear to swim in. It totally should NOT be allowed for him.
And did he really have to flex his pecs like that? Whose eggs is he trying to ovulate?
And why is he looking at me the same way I look at chocolate.
Should I just give up and let him have a lick?
And it’s not like one lick is going to end up with two pink lines on the pregnancy stick. Right?

Best book so far! I’m still smiling and laughing! I love the characters and the children! No spoilers but read this one!
The plot of this book has it all.
Definitely had my attention right throughout

Humorous & sexy & tender, it doesn’t get better than this!…
Loved the push me, pull you between the boss & his long suffering assistant. He needs her help & offers her a small fortune to help him babysit his niece & nephew for the weekend. He’s hopeless around kids, intolerant & beyond off kilter. Like a knight in shining armour she calmly handles the kids & no holds barred she let’s him know he’s an a..hole. He’s always had huge respect for her & he rather fancied her but his admiration grew as she eased his anxiety & then he needed her to ease his overheated libido. She was fatally attracted but could they find a way to be more than a weekend fling? LOVED this story! I received an arc & this is my honest & voluntary review.
Long time coming

Yet ANOTHER great book from Lindsey Hart! I just can’t get enough of her characters and storylines. I ALWAYS come away with warm feelings 😉
Lexi Wellington works as a receptionist for Curtis James. He runs a company that has been handed down to him through his family. He’s very successful, very rich, and has a somewhat ruthless persona.
His sister has begged him to look after her two kids for a weekend, so she can have a much-needed weekend away with her husband. Curtis isn’t a big fan of any kids, but relents to his sister’s guilt-trip request. He enlists the help of Lexi (with a $10k incentive), so he doesn’t have to do too much with his niece and nephew. The thing is, Lexi is GREAT with kids, and would one day want some of her own.
They share a mutual attraction, but don’t act upon it… for the first three years anyway. There are a lot of HILARIOUS moments (real belly-laughing from me), some angst, frustration and denial. But as always, there’s a lot of steamy passion, sweet romance and declarations of love.
The writing was really descriptive, and that’s one of the reasons I found it hard to put down. I would definitely recommend this one for an addictive read. Can’t wait to read more form her!

Curtis is the epitome of the boss from hell, and Lexi is his long-suffering executive assistant who happens to be the only one he could turn to when he badly needed help–babysitting his sister’s two demon spawns.
This was a fun, entertaining read, and I especially loved the banter between the two characters. I also loved that they, of course, get their happily ever after, after Curtis gets a dose of reality, and admits that he has fallen for Lexi hook, line, and sinker!

Curtis James is the head of a multi-billion dollar company. He can have anything he wants except her. Lexi is Curtis’s personal assistant and has been in love with him since she started working for him. So when he offers her 10k to help babysit his niece and nephew she is wary. Will she be able to keep her feelings hidden or will she crack under pressure? Will he?
Good story line. Great characters.

ONE SCRUMPTIOUS JOY RIDE!!!
Heaven bound! Lindsey just stole the crown, took the throne and seized the kingdom with this sensational, tantalizing, mesmerizing, mind-blowing bombshell, hooks you from the start and reels you in for the duration. Satisfying is an understatement so profound, you have to read it to believe it. A churning eddy of unexpected circumstances and inadvertent events catapults this baby into the eye of the storm, breaking it down, blowing it into a tailspin with an unbelievable culmination. You get the whole kit-n-caboodle with this bad boy, you go from side-splitting, laugh out loud, cheek-cramping to shocking, sizzling and head over heels trying to catch your breath. A raging tempest thrusts those swirling emotions into a tizzy with outstanding, fun-filled results. Add drama, mischief, intrigue, undercurrents, shenanigans and outlandish situations, along with a boatload of chaos, propelling you into one exciting adventure. The undeniable attraction and intense chemistry sizzles as each layer is peeled back exposing a deep connection and amplifying affections, binding them together perfectly. The characters are authentic and realistic with depth and qualities that transform into amazing personalities. The scenes are so abundantly detailed and descriptive to give you a full understanding and realism that balance and blend smoothly. Magnificent job Lindsey, thanks for sharing this bad boy with us.
I’ve read several of Lindsey Hart’s book. But this is my new favorite. The chemistry between Curtis and Lexi is amazing!! It’s well written and had me riding shotgun to their drama. Loved every moment of it!

Curtis and Lexi will draw you into their antics and drama. When Lexi is asked to help Curtis with his nephew and niece it opens up the door for these two feelings to bloom. Lexi has a love hate relationship with her boss and makes no qualms about it. As these two find themselves together the more they learn about each other. Could there be a chance for Curtis and Lexi to have the kind of relationship Curtis grandparents had? They will have you cheering them on to a happily ever afte.

I’ve read many of Lindsey Hart’s books and this is another one that I recommend. The reader discovers Curtis’s true heart more slowly that Lexi’s … although what you “see” with Lexi from the beginning of the book isn’t exactly what’s truly in her heart of hearts. The author takes you along with Lexi as she discovers what she’s been denying for years: that she truly doesn’t hate and despise him (despite all she says and how she behaves towards him) but is fighting her intense feelings and attraction towards Curtis. The story arc is very well written and the HEA is extremely satisfying. The heat between Lexi and Curtis is off the charts. Lindsey Hart’s writing delivers characters you can “see” and dialogue that ranges from hysterically funny snark to soul-baring declarations. I really, really liked Curtis from the beginning and right through the story as his true character was being revealed. If there is one critique about these two main characters it’s that Lexi could’ve spouted only 25% of her ranting insults … after the first few rants, it tended to come off as over-kill and would’ve been more effective is cut back a little bit. The secondary characters didn’t really play any significant roles in this story and I would think that relying on the two main characters to advance a story from start to finish is more skillful. I liked this one and highly recommend. 🙂
The author has given us characters that we can care about. Curtis has wanted his PA, Lexi, since the day he hired her. However, he will not mix business with pleasure. When he is roped in to babysitting his niece and nephew, he hires Lexi to spend the weekend babysitting instead. Not only does it get Lexi into his home, he is able to play cat and mouse with her.

I loved this addition to the Alphalicious Billionaire’s series. Curtis is the worst boss ever, he’s arrogant, rude, and so handsome. Curtis asks Lexi to help babysit his nephew and niece for the weekend, promising her a big bonus and Lexi agrees, but it turns into so much more. The chemistry between Lexi and Curtis is palpable. This story is well written, filled with drama, banter, and love. I really enjoyed it and highly recommend it.

Set aside an afternoon for this laugh-out-loud NC17 tale of a billionaire boss and his assistant fighting against office romance.

I thought that this book had a good story but I did not love either of the characters. The story itself had a cute feel to it and I enjoyed the whole falling in love with the bad boss angle. Of the two main characters I liked Curtis the best. Yes, he had jerkish tendencies and rough edges but he grew on me as I learned more about him. That was not the case with Lexi. Practically from the word go she grated on my nerves. Sure sometimes something she said or thought was funny but for the most part I just felt like she was simply a mean-spirited, bitter and judgmental person and that doesn’t even address some of her actions that had me wanting to get in her face and ask her if she had ever heard of glass houses.
I did something I usually don’t do until after I post my review, and that is reading the reviews of others. Obviously, I am the odd man out. There are 5 star ratings. I struggled with this book from the very beginning until almost the very end.
I could not stand Lexi. Not at all. Not at any point in the book. By the time she became tolerable, the book was at the end. Her behaviour was not fun, funny, cute, sweet, or anything nice. She was rude, unpleasant, judgmental, condescending, and just not a nice person, at least to Curtis. She may have been efficient, but she judged Curtis based on not even trying to find out anything about him. I found that interesting considering she worked for him. How do you not know that your boss actually works?
That is not to say that Curtis was a saint. He had his moments of being rude. He had ulterior motives for Lexi spending the weekend. Lexi judged him on not liking kids, for on thing. Lots of people don’t like kids and have no interest in them. Doesn’t make them terrible people. At least he was honest, and he was willing to pay her to make sure his niece and nephew were taken care of since he didn’t feel capable.
She was supposed to be an adult. So she gets pregnant and does what she does and has the audacity to judge him? What mature adult behaves like that? Maybe that is what I was missing. Maybe Lexi was not supposed to be mature or adult.
I wanted to like this book. I thought the description was kind of cute. Lexi’s character was such a turn off for me, it made it difficult to read the book. I honestly think people should read this book and judge for themselves.
