He believes in fate… why I blurt out to my meddlesome, matchmaking grandmother that Alejandra is my date for her fast approaching and highly choreographed eightieth birthday party.
She’s been on pause…
Some decisions are harder than others, but agreeing to a date with Drew isn’t one of them. He’s a charming and gorgeous curveball I didn’t see coming, but the more time we spend together, the harder it is to remember to play it safe. I’ve made a promise, and even though I’m now torn: I have to honor it in order to move on from the past. Drew feels like my future, but I’m about to put everything I want in jeopardy.

I really enjoyed this sweet story!
Alejandra has recently broke up with her boyfriend when she first sees and is attracted to Drew. Too bad he had to momentarily leave her and then she leaves the bar. Fast forward 9 months and they meet again.
Kismet, right?
It was meant to happen.
He pretends they have been dating and then BAM! We have the makings of a good love story.
This is book 3 in the series, but it can be read on its own since each story is about a different couple.
I highly recommend it!
Hot Shot is the perfect slow burn romance that you just need to devour in one sitting! Drew and Alejandra have completely stolen the show and I just had to savor every moment! Watching their relationship grow throughout the course of the book from friends to so much more made my heart leap into my throat a few times with the caring, patience and kindness of both characters. Throw in one heck of a grandmother who steals the show and you have a truly wonderful story! I highly recommend it!
Hot Shot by Robin Bielman is book number three in the American Royalty series. This is Drew and Alejandra’s story.
Drew and Alejandra had met but it was a brief meeting then it was great how their paths crossed again. Drew’s grandmother Rosemary was a mess. I really enjoyed the banter and interactions between the characters.
This is a sweet romance with lots of chemistry between Drew and Alejandra packed with humor. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
Drew and Alejandra meet one night and the sparks fly. But Alejandra and her ex are trying to determine if they are worth saving during a break, so she walks away. Now they are face-to-face again, could this be their time? Drew is definitely taken by Alejandra, but she has decisions to make as she was at a crossroad. She was very likable, smart and caring. Drew was determined, charming and sexy. As they find themselves in an unexpected situation, they begin to learn more about each other and grow. Hot Shot by Robin BIelman was a witty and charming slow burning romance.

Happy reading!
HOT SHOT by Robin Bielman is book Three in the American Royalty Series. This is the story of Drew Auprince and Alejandra Cruz. I haven’t yet read the previous books, so for me this was a standalone book. Drew and Alejandra happen to meet and hit it off but she is on a break from her boyfriend of several years. So she of course walks away but not to long later they meet again with Drew is waiting to meet his grandmother for their schedule meal. When he spots Alejandra he goes to speak to her and even takes it a step further to tell his grandmother that she is his date for her 80th birthday party.
When Alejandra needs a place to stay while waiting for repairs on her house he offers up his hotel but fails to add that he will be there too. Their attraction is hot and quick but he does have some baggage that bleeds into his feelings in their present situation. This was overall a really good read. Loved Grandma Rosemary.
Hot Shot is the third and final book in the American Royalty series. It can be read as a complete standalone, but Drew’s brothers’ stories are pretty amazing, too.
Drew is the youngest Auprince brother, he is also the last single brother. His grandma Rosemary is not a fan of that and she continues on with her matchmaking ways to find Drew his perfect match, only he has found that woman all on his own.
Drew and Alejandra’s story was amazing from the start. They had so much chemistry between the two of them you could feel it coming off the pages, but it was still sweet. I loved that fate seemingly brought these two back together again after 9 months. That neither one of them forgot the other.
Drew and Alejandra’s romance was perfect and it was great to get more of grandma Rosemary (because you can’t help but love her), plus more from Drew’s brothers. This was the perfect closure to an amazing series and I’ll miss the Auprince brothers.
Bielman is a favorite of mine because she holds nothing back. Her stories are all heart. Why should Hot Shot be any different? Drew and Alejandra leap right off the page and into your heart. He’s a charmer. She’s at a crossroads. Neither can let go of the connection they share, but something is holding her back. Never one to be deterred, Drew has a secret weapon that lights up the canvas with her saucy personality and mischievous ways. Rosemary is the the real deal when it comes to investing your heart. Romance reeled me in, but it was Drew’s grandma that stole the show.
I received an ARC of this novel, my first time reading Robin Bielman. I am not under obligation to review. This was really an excellent read!
The main characters were wonderfully developed, their chemistry was off the charts from the start right to the end. The other supporting characters in the story are well written in and a joy to read about.
I will be reading books 1 and 2 now since I enjoyed this one so much.
Robin Bielman really knows how to write the sweet, sexy, fun & swoony romances! This series has been great, and I loved Drew & Alejandra’s story! The chemistry was strong between these two! They were a very fun couple to read about and Drew is definitely swoon-worthy
I also have to give a shout-out to Drew’s Grandmother! She was a wonderful, witty, loving character that was such a pivotal part of their story. She rocked! I also love the tight family bond between the Auprinces.
While this can be read a stand-alone, I highly recommend the first two books in the series “Heartthrob” & “Sweet Talker” as well! You’ll love the Auprince brothers!
I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy in exchange for an honest review.
This might be considered a slow burn romance but with every turn of the page the chemistry between Drew and Alejandra just leaps off the page. Add in the sub plot that they are faking the relationship to get Drew’s match making grandmother off his back and you have a storyline that had me laughing out loud in sections and swooning with others. Who knew that the spark from a possible hook up in a bar months prior would end up being the one you fall in love with.
4 Star Review of Hot Shot (American Royalty #3) by Robin Bielman
Robin Bielman is a new author to me. This is Drew Auprince and Alejandra Cruz’s story which I found to be well written and entertaining. A story that was funny, hot and spicy with chemistry that you could almost feel.
Although book three and the last in the series, it can be read as a standalone, although having said that, when time permits I will go back and read the other two books.
Having connected briefly months earlier, Drew and Al come across one another again. However it’s complicated because when she met Drew initially she and her long time boyfriend Matthew, were on a break and had agreed to meet in twelve months to see if they had a future together. Not wanting to lead Drew on, she left but now fate has reunited them.
Drew decides to pursue Al, telling his grandmother that she is his date to her 80th birthday party.
I loved Drew’s grandmother, what a fabulous character she was, in fact she almost steals the book from our leading couple.
As they struggle to ignore the intense chemistry, Al worries about her upcoming meeting with Matthew. Drew knows and is determined to be the last man standing.
Who will Alejandra chose? One click and find out.
This is book 3 in the series and stars the youngest son, Drew. In this story we meet Drew and Alejanda. Drew is a rich, white boy and he falls hard and fast for A, a black latino. She is described as a younger Zoe Saldana. He essentially picks her up in a bar and she runs away. Then months later they run into each other and he is very there for her.
The two end up as friends and sorta roomies and they are pretty cute together. Drew is a sweet and hot and rich guy and is the perfect nice guy. But A is less trusting so this book is her fall into love with Drew. It was enjoyable. But the first book in this series is still my favorite.
I received a complimentary ARC – early release copy of this book in Kindle format from the author for review purposes.
3.5

I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC from Tule Publishing.
4.5 Stars for Hot Shot by Robin Bielman
This author is a new author to me and after reading Hot Shot I have to ask myself why because I really loved this book even though I hadn’t read the previous books in the series so if you are wondering can this be read as a stand-alone well it certainly can but in saying that I will be going to backtrack the previous books in this series as soon as time permits.
Drew Auprince and Alejandra Cruz’s story is story you won’t want to miss, it’s entertaining, funny, emotional and has the perfect mix of passion and humour. Drew and Al have meet briefly before but at that time she was still with her boyfriend Matthew but now Al and Matthew are on a 12 month break agreeing to do their own thing for a year then meet up and see if they still have feelings for each
other. Al doesn’t want to lead Drew on but when he pursues her she finds her feelings go much deeper than friendship but what will happen when Matthew returns ………..
His book has all the feels, characters with sizzling chemistry and witty banter, it’s witty and emotional and I was left wanting more. Can’t wait to read the previous books in this series and off course any further books.
