Rio North wasn’t ready to leave the SEALs and his brothers in arms, but his destiny called him to Savannah. Born into wealth, he used his family’s fortune to help his teammates. While his friends in the military teased him about being a babe magnet, it took a little help from fate in the form of mistaken identity to connect him with the woman he wanted permanently in his life. If only she’d quit … quit running from him.
Meghan Williams finally has her life under control and has sworn this was the last time she’d let her sister “fix her up” with a blind date… until she walked into the restaurant and saw him. Black slacks and blue shirt… yep. Fit the description. She’d never say a bad word about her sister again.
This charming, handsome man couldn’t be her date. In this case, it sucked to be right. Mistaken identity much? But even after realizing her error, he still wanted to see her again. Nope, nope, nope. He was gorgeous. He drove an expensive import; his family ran the biggest company in Georgia, and she was… everything he wasn’t. Even though her instincts said he was trustworthy, her life experience screamed run.
What’s a girl to do when a gorgeous former SEAL pursues her with the same degree of intensity he brought to his former profession?

Kris Michaels makes her characters come alive. And what a wonderful setting! You’ll love this story about a Rio and Meagan!
Kris Michaels combines two of my favorite things in this book: A Hot SEAL and Savannah. Rio is totally swoon-worthy and I love the way he and Meghan meet. Another great installment in season 2 of the SEALs in Paradise series!
A retiring Seal crosses paths with a curvy beautiful woman and their love is born. So enjoyed these characters as they worked toward their relationship and dealt with family. Don’t miss this tale.
Prepare yourself for Rio North
Another fantastic story by Kris Michaels! Rio is leaving his Navy SEAL team due to requirements of a family trust made by his grandfather. However, when Rio returns home…his parents are away…so he goes out for dinner.
Meghan’s sister has been hassling her to find someone to settle down with and arranges a blind date for her. However, the table she sits at is Rio’s and not her blind date The two hit it off and decide to see how it goes
A must read story and I really loved Meghan and Rio
I loved this romance. It is such a departure from the high pitched suspence, intrigue and hard hirring action of the Kings seies. How can you not love Rio North? He’s a man of Integrity with a high moral compass and a caring, generous nature. I immediately loved Meghan Williams because I empathized with her about learning to love herself and accept herself after years of self- medicating with food. Rio’s fully accepting the new Meghan as beautiful was powerful. I like the gentleness of this story. It made me feel good!
I love the slow burn of Savannah Nights. I loved how two very different people come together, the super sexy navy seal and a business management all star.
I enjoyed tagging along with Rio and Meghan as they deal with family drama and fall in love.
Another beautifully written story by Kris Michaels. I cannot wait to see what she has in store for her readers next!!!
I loved this story. If you are looking for a kick-ass SEAL story – this isn’t what you are looking for. This a sweet story about a civilian that used to be a SEAL, comes from a rich family, who is about to receive his inheritance from his grandfather, and a case of mistaken identity. Troubled family ties on both Rio’s and Meg’s side cause nothing but tension in this story. As Rio sets about fulfilling his dream, he also sets out to get to know the lovely lady that mistook him for her blind date.
To me it was more a a millionaire/billionaire meets curvy woman of his dreams than a SEAL story. It’s a slow build up to the steamy scenes and not an immediate jump the bones type of story. I have to admit that I am not one for steamy scenes, I really enjoy the journey to the steaminess. This book has that journey. Rio is a strong character who knows what he wants and goes for it. Meg struggles with her self confidence as she has been hounded her entire life by her family. Meg did prove that she didn’t fully trust Rio towards the end of the story, but Rio is a resourceful guy and sets her straight. The ending is rather abrupt and it would have been nice to have a small epilogue as the story does leave some unanswered questions.
Definitely a fine addition to your Kris Michaels’ collection.
Savannah Nights was on my kindle when I opened it this morning and I read it from start to finish without stopping. I might have shed a few tears and I might have laughed out loud a few times as I was reading but Meghan and Rio’s story was so wonderful that I kept on until there were no pages left. Kudos to Kris Michaels for another 5 star book!! I can’t wait to read more.
