”…one of those must read black ops series that is as good as Maya Banks & Cindy Gerard!” — Just Plain Sassy
“Seriously is there a hotter series out there in this genre? Because if there is, I don’t know about it. I have loved these books from book 1 and they are only getting better and better not to mention hotter!!!” — Goodreads

Two old friends, a dark shadow of the recent past, suspense, and maybe new love? This book definitely grabbed my attention.
Evie was a hot mess. She left town eight years ago to go to culinary school and start the restaurant of her dreams. Her naivete had her falling for the tricks of a con artist, which ruined her new business and forced her to …
I do love this series! If you enjoy steamy romantic suspense, I think you’ll love it, too! (The fact that it popped up as currently free on my Kindle was a nice bonus!)
I’ve read several of Ms. Harris’s HOT series of military romantic suspense (HOT stands for Hostile Operations Team, fyi–but the romance is hot, too!), but somewhere along the …
Probably 3.5 stars. This was a pretty good story but it was dull and repetitive at times with a heroine that was kind of self-centered and not very smart. Also, the ending seemed abrupt and over simplified..
I stopped at about a quarter of the way through this book. The story seems to drag out because there will be paragraph after paragraph describing a scene or an object. I started skipping paragraphs, then finally just gave up. The story has good potential, but it gets lost.
Yum! Steamy, HOT, military men, suspense, mystery, and women who can’t help but love them. It’s a combination of elements I can’t resist. This is the first Lynn Raye Harris novel I have read, featuring the black ops, Hostile Operation Team ( HOT),team leader, Matt (Ritchie Rich). I love novels dealing with special ops and the special women who …
I just finished this story last night. This story is a really neat concept and the story-line is semi-original. I really loved the characters in this story. I loved Matt and Evie relationship, how it started when they were six years old. I really loved seeing Evie anger when Matt never called her. Though, I think her anger disappeared really …
One of my favorite authors. This is a great series full of action and suspense. Hot Pursuit is a great second chance romance with strong Alpha male character. Matt is easily in my top five favorite characters by this author.
This is the 2nd book I read by Lynn Raye Harris. When I read HOT PACKAGE & I seen that it was apart of a series I wanted to read HOT PURSUIT. I really liked the hot & steamy scenes. I really liked the action in this story. I really enjoyed the action in this story. I really liked Matt’s character. I really liked Evie’s character. I really liked …
This is the beginning of a wonderful series. H.O.T. is just that!
I enjoyed the characters. Couldn’t put it down
Great characters. Strong male and female roles. Love all these books
My rating for this book is about 4.7. It was fast-paced and the main characters were likable. I went on to read others in the series because of my enjoyment of this first book.
On the edge of your seat book! Loved it.
12/13/2020 Wow!!! I highly recommend “Hot Pursuit” (nook) by Lynn Rae Harris. Matt’s and Evie’s story sucked me in and kept me jumping. I would have to say that there are more twists and turns than a corkscrew. This story deserves a rating of 5-1/2 stars to 6 stars.
Really enjoyed reading this book. Recommend.
Loved the story. Great characters and nice setting in the south. Good pace with just enough action and a great ending. Can’t wait to check out the next HOT book. Nice lead in with some of the characters.
We’re back to Matt and Evie in this book. She was the talk of the town after Matt left town and her heart shattered. But now he’s back 10 years later. He had a bad mission and his career is on the line. But when Evie needs help he and his team is there to save the day so to speak. Action and love rekindled.
Matt and Evie have history but it didn’t end well. Matt has spent 10 years building his military career and never looked back. Evie tried to move on and build a life away from their hometown but her dream was destroyed by her ex boyfriend. When both Matt and Evie end up in their hometown together they are forced to face the past. Can they …
I like the series, have read most of the books a few more to go.
I just decided to reread the HOT series, and this second chance romance was just as good as I remembered. Matt and Evie have known each other since they were children. They had a serious falling out when they were teenagers (you can read all about it in the prequel; Reckless Heat) and it is now 10 years later. Matt is back in town for his sisters …
