Olivia Reese works in public relations at Titan Tech when she receives a package containing a disc from a co-worker that indicates falsified data on a huge project about to be sold to the U.S. government. She knows something is terribly wrong but the man that sent it to her can’t be reached. She takes the disc and heads out in a blizzard to the one man that she trusts to help her. But, how will he react when she shows up after leaving him last year with no explanation.
Billy ‘The Kid’ Blake is a member of the Hostile Operations Team and finds Olivia stranded in the snow on his way home. The anger he had last year when he returned from deployment to find her gone hasn’t dissipated like he thought but he can’t turn her away. When he sees the info on the disc he calls in his buddies from the ‘HOT’ team and they come together to solve the mystery. With a missing co-worker, falsified data and things leading much higher up the ladder than anyone figured, Billy is determined to protect Olivia and try to break through her defenses to find out what happened to their relationship. Sweet novella, well written, with plenty of action and drama carried through to the end.
Enjoy the action, suspense, and mystery!!

Review This is the first book I read by Lynn Raye Harris. I loved this book’s story line. I loved the action in this story, I loved the hot & steamy scenes. I loved Billy’s character. I loved how Billy protected Olivia. This was a great Christmas story to read. I’m looking forward to reading the rest of the books in this series, awesome job Ms. Harris.
A bonus holiday novella in Lynn Raye Harris’s HOT series. It takes place during the same time frame of DANGEROUSLY HOT, a full-length novel.
I loved it! Read it in one sitting. Billy Blake and Olivia Reese’s story. Former lovers whose childhood traumas got in the way of a happily-ever-after the past Christmas are reunited by danger. When Livvie discovers something dangerous to the military being covered up at Titan Technology where she works, she turns to the only man she thinks can help–computer guru (and seriously hot nerd who can kick your butt with his Special Forces training) Billy “The Kid” Blake.
One Christmas later, it’s a rocky reunion. But together they uncover the truth at Titan, round up the bad guys with the HOT team’s help, and communicate their real feelings the way they should have a year ago. And this year, they celebrate Christmas with a HEA.
A quick read but still checked all the boxes to make it a book I highly recommend. And it takes place at Christmas so major bonus points! Looking forward to the rest of the books in the series.
Olivia finds information that shows falsified test results from the contractor she works for. She can’t take a chance that the military follows through with the purchase. When she turns to her former lover Billy, member of the Hostile Operations Team, will he help her? Billy wants to avoid getting all tangled up over Olivia again but he desire to protect his country is stronger.
Loving this series and the HOT guys. I love that each book gives us insight into one of them on a deeper level but continues to bring all the guys together to work as a team. The author creates characters that I can fall in love with more every page. Can’t wait to read the next book.

This is a second chance romance novella. Billy and Olivia were together for a few short months before their combined issues tore them apart. Now Olivia has been drawn into a conspiracy at her job and the only person she can turn to is Billy. Will they be able to stay safe and work through their issues to get to their HEA? This was an okay read, it was just short and quick.
