Always entertained by Stuart Woods – Hot Mahogany no exception
Not one of his best books but they’re coming out so fast quality is declining. More sex and less detecting.
Ending a little weak .
Loved this book, as I do all of Stuart Wood’s. I cannot wait to see what Stone Barrington gets into next.
Another great book by Mr. Woods. Always a great read! Hard to put down.
Typical Stewart Woods.
Former CIA Stone Barrington is “Of Counsel” to a high-powered law firm, for which he handles slightly dicey cases. He’s not above skirting the edge of the law. He’s also a bit promiscuous. Here he’s tasked with finding a recently stolen 18th c very valuable piece of furniture. Let the fun begin!
Not the greatest but fine for listening on a car trip.
I loved it. Awesome read from my favorite author.
Typical Stuart Woods (Stone Barrington) book. I like that the books are standalone but he brings back characters from previous books.
Found it difficult to really get into. Ok by the end but not my favorite read
Classic Stone Barrington….can’t believe I missed this one all those years ago. Always extremely bummed when I finish one of these – they are a fast read and I end wanting more!
as with all his books, this is a barn burner and I love escaping in them.
I loved the way it was written.
You can’t go wrong with any Stuart Woods books. This one doesn’t disappoint.
I like Wood a lot but this was not up to his usual standards. Entertaining but…
Always a good read. Everything book is stand alone however all interlace the main characters.
Surely not his best.
Love the characters!
I love Stone Barrington, the lead character.
