Stone Barrington is hired to protect a former intelligence agent with amnesia—and secrets worth killing for—in this heart-stopping thriller in the #1 New York Times bestselling series.Barton Cabot’s intelligence career is even more top secret than that of his brother, CIA boss Lance Cabot. But following a random act of violence, Barton is suffering from amnesia—a dangerous thing in a man whose … dangerous thing in a man whose memory is chock full of state secrets. So Lance hires Stone Barrington to watch his brother’s back.
Stone soon discovers that his charge is a spy with a rather unusual hobby: building and restoring furniture. I love all of his books. Always a great read.
ALL Stuart Woods books are great!
I especially liked this book about Stone Barrington and a mystery involving antique furniture. I recommend.
A different storyline for a Stone Barrington book. This may be the first one I have read that is halfway plausible.
Love this character Stone Barrington. another bell ringer!
A fun read, well worth your time.
Gotta love Stone Barrington. Great character and story development, even if it’s unexpected or not what you want (think Elaine’s. Late.) Never a full page!
Stone Barrington is my favorite character in a series. It used to be Spenser but since Robert Parker is no longer involved this series is #1.
Enjoy reading Stuart Woods books.
These books are a joy to read. No muss, no fuss-just a good around the pool summer reading!
I really enjoyed this book!!
I usually find Stuart woods to be a great read. But I couldn’t get past page 30
love stone
Stone is always a good read
Not the best of Stuart Woods, but then he and his character ensemble definitely are better, more layered and the plots more intricate in other novels
This author is wearing out his character but is still interesting.
An entertaining book but a little too predictable for me having read most of the 14 books that preceded it.
Loved it
Vintage Stuart Woods from a few years ago. Not quite up to par with some of his more recent books but a good read.
I love Stuart Woods writing. Try to read everything he puts out. Very entertaining.
