Harper
He’s the one we all call Hot Dad at playgroup. The one who makes my knees weak and my pulse race every time he walks through the door. We all watch him, and dream of him asking us out.
But my kid is my world, and I’m a frumpy mom with a hole in the bum of her yoga pants. What could he ever see in me? So when Sam calls out of the blue, I’m stunned.

I’ll definitely be looking forward to more opportunities to read Whitley’s work in the future. All opinions expressed within this review are uniquely my own & freely given.
Until next time… Happy Reading!
I really enjoyed Hot Dad, I’m so happy Sam and Harper got there own story we hear all about them in Amy’ book.
No matter what book by Whitley Cox I’ve read I’m always blown away, once I pick the book up I can’t put it down till I e finished which includes late nights but so worth it.
It was lovely to catch up with the characters from the previous story’s to. This was a really hot book great story with lots of sex once they get the chance, Romance, intrigue and suspense. You keep guess will hey won’t they which keeps you rooting for them. Both being single parents isn’t easy to date but they make it work the best they can. Like all Whitley’s book this one will leave you wanting more.
Book world just met reality. Hot mess moms, hot single dad. Flu’s and mishaps. It’s the perfect combination of everything. Kids are total cock blockers and I loved how the characters over came (haha) the obstacles they faced. Def o a win for Whitley again.
I fell in love with Harper during Amy and Garrets duet, Whitley Cox’s True, Deep and Forever Parts 1 and 2. Amy’s whole Monday coven was hysterical, but there was something about Harper.
Harper is a single mom. Carly, her adorable dinosaur hording toddler, was the result of a New Year’s one night stand. But Harper owns it, and while it wasn’t how she planned it, loves where she’s ended up. Including fantasizing about Hot Dad from afar every Monday.
Sam is doing his best to hold his family together. When his ex decides she doesn’t want to be a mom, and signs her parental rights away, he changed his entire life to make sure his kids knew how much he loved them. Yeah, he missed being a fireman, but he loves his kids more.
So what happens when Sam finally gets a nudge from Amy, and acts on his crush on Harper? Cox out does herself with the situations Sam and Harper find themselves in. Having kids is hard for a relationship, and getting blocked at every turn (the flu, broken limbs, nightmares) doesn’t make dating any easier.
I think one of the things I loved most about Hot Dad was the alternating points of view. We followed Harper and Sam’s wacky journey from both of their perspectives, a change from Cox’s Dark and Damaged Hearts series. Harper and Sam have become my favorites in a complex world that Cox created, full of amazing characters.
Sam and Harper are perfect! I love that even though they are parents, they can still have a cute flirtatious side, as well as a hot and heavy side to them. I admire them both for being so strong and pushing through life’s struggles. Whitley Cox is so creative, and I’m excited to see what she writes next!
Harper is the single mom. Harper has a two year old daughter. Sam is a single father. Sam has two kids a three year old daughter and a one year old son from his ex that left. These two have been day dreaming about each other. I enjoyed reading this book. I loved the storyline and plot. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I found myself smiling with this book, but also going don’t let that happen. This book has drama, danger, suspense and one very sick ex. I enjoyed reading this story. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Unlike most people, Harper loves Mondays. The reason, the playgroup she has every Monday. She gets to enjoy the company of other moms while her daughter Carly plays with other kids her age. The bonus, is she gets to single dad Sam as well. She has crushed on the redheaded sexy on a stick for six months. One Monday, she has to miss playgroup as Carly has the stomach flu. Her phone rings that afternoon and when she discovers who it is, she figures she is dreaming. Sam has been attracted to Harper since the moment he saw her. After a bad breakup with the mother of his children, he wasn’t sure that dating was in the cards. But he just can’t ignore his attraction to Harper. Will they be able to connect with three small children between them?
Oh my lord, Hot Dad was absolutely adorable and sexy! Whitney Cox is a gifted author. The dialogue is snappy and the attraction between Harper and Sam is off the charts. They both have had a rough time and they deserve a happy ending. They do get a little kinky in the bedroom, once they get there and it just shows us how perfect they are for each other. There was a little suspense thrown into this romance that added the icing on this cake of book perfection! All the stars for Hot Dad from this happy reader!
Hot! Hot! Hot!
Hot dad Sam is smoking and Harper couldn’t wait for him to light her fire. This story is thoroughly entertaining, funny, romantic and scorching hot. Great story line and a beautiful ending.
You will not need to use your safe word for this book, it will be GREEN all the way. Hot Dad is a single parent romance about Sam and Harper. This book ticked all the boxes for me, it was full of angst and drama, was sweet and romantic, made me smile and laugh and it definitely wasn’t the temperature outside that had me needing to cool down. Sam is a firefighter and a devoted single dad to his two children who finally gets up the courage to approach single Mum Harper after admiring her from afar for the past six months. The connection between these characters is one that jumps off the pages and has you falling in love with them and their children. Whitley Cox never disappoints and has definitely delivered a five star read with this hot and steamy romance.
Loved this single dad meets single mom book. Harper and Sam as a couple are perfect together. This is a steamy read full of humor, drama, great characters and a beautiful love story. This is definitely a one-click must read!
Being a single parent isn’t easy, both Sam and Harper know the score. After six months of staring at each other from across the room, Sam is finally ready to make a move, but life is unpredictable, especially when children are involved….
This was such a fun romance to read. I found myself laughing constantly, while also enjoying the plot twists along the way. If you need a fun read, you don’t want to miss Hot Dad.
