Caleb
When my Dad dies, I discover I was adopted. In order to get my part of his estate, I must go back to the country I came from and make it better somehow. In Cuba, I find my bio-Dad and then I meet the one – Ava.
Years ago, my father became her guardian angel when her parents were killed. She’s a ball-buster. Built like a brick house – all curves and bags of confidence. She’s done well, despite the communists. She doesn’t need my money, but she needs my protection. The forces trying to keep us apart are putting her in danger and I’ll be damned if they touch her. She is meant to be mine and I’m taking her.

A beautiful, slightly quirky story about adoption of 3 boys by well-to-do parents. The fact of the boys’ adoption comes out when the patriarch dies and he leaves a video recording for them. It is a touching, sometime teary-eyed tale of finding your heritage and the good that can be done. I loved it!

The well written storyline and the well rounded characters kept me totally engaged throughout the entire book!
Molly’s latest book is amazing!!!! Caleb and his two brother Alex and Eden, find out after the death of their father Gordon, that all three of them were adopted. In order to claim their portion of the family trust, upon their 25th birthday, they must visit the country of their birth and come up with a plan to give back. Caleb is up first and he finds his family is from Cuba. His mother Gabriella and he were able to escape to America but his father Ramon remained behind. He finds Ramon and is able to find out more about what happened that led him to the US. He meets Ava, a woman his father helped support after her parents were killed in a house fire. She runs her own club and has secretly given loans to other women who want to start a business. The longer Caleb is there the more he finds himself falling in love with Ava and growing his relationship with Ramon. While there, he is contacted by the adoption agency with the option of his birth mother receiving his contact information. Meanwhile, someone is sneaking around Ava’s club and causing mischief and they know about the secret loans. Things are going well as Caleb and Ava are in love, he is able to reunite his parents and Ava is starting a scholarship fund for girls. Carnaval approaches and things go crazy when a fire is set at Ava’s friend Salima’s business and while the fire department is there, one is started at her club. When the night is over and the smoke clears, everyone is safe, Caleb and Ava have a new plan for their life together and Caleb has made his plan to help out in Havana with his part of the trust.

“Hot as Sin” is a page-turning contemporary romance from author Molly Sloan. After his father’s death, Caleb Elliot is shocked to learn that he and his two brothers, Alex and Eden, had been adopted as infants by Susan and Gordon Elliot. Growing up in a world of privilege did not prepare the boys to learn that each of them had been born to a different set of parents in a different country. Now, in order to help the brothers mature beyond their slacker irresponsibility, their father has stipulated that each one of them must “earn” their inheritance by returning to their birth countries and finding a worthy cause to support. First up is older brother Caleb, who learns that his given name was Ramon, and he was born in Cuba. He journeys to Cuba and finds his birth father–and he also meets a beautiful young woman named Ava, an unexpected and undeniably compelling force-of-nature. The chemistry between them is combustible–a mixture of Fate and irresistible attraction. In order to find a happy and rewarding future together, Caleb and Ava must resolve issues from the past and defeat the elements of present-day danger that lurk all around them–is their love strong enough to find the way? I look forward to learning how Fate will treat the younger Elliot brothers, Alex and Eden, in future stories from the talented Molly Sloan.

Now looking forward to Alex and Eden’s stories
This story held a lot of promise when I first picked it up as an instantaneous love romance. I was definitely intrigued by the blurb and concept. However, it fell flat for me. While it was fast paced, I felt it was a bit rushed at times with a lot of information thrown in. The characters did have some depth and the overall story concept was unique. It was just simply not for me. I encourage others to read this and form their own opinions.
A fun insta-love story. I really liked the premise of the story and it flowed well. The characters were likeable and had chemistry. Overall a good, quick summer read.

This is a very well written heartwarming and heartbreaking story both. It is about adoption, drama, tragedy, emotional situations, excitement and so much more. Families and tragedy and what they have to do to get through it. What happens after they get older for life to go on. I would read the blurb. I loved this story so much and couldn’t put it down. I highly recommend it. I received a review copy from booksprout and voluntarily review it.
This is a good book. I have read numerous books by this author. This book had good characters and a story line but it felt like it fell flat. The book ends on a good note. To me, I just couldn’t get into the book. I still recommend that you read the book and come up with your own opinion.

Molly Sloan’s HOT AS SIN is my first book by her. I’m a voracious reader and although I read the entire book, it wasn’t really one that pulled me in immediately nor was it one that I couldn’t put down. The “bones” of this story are good and the writing/proof reading is good but I felt that some of the characters were a little flat. For a main character, Caleb was especially so. I never felt like we got to really know him because for me, HIS backstory just wasn’t developed. (We don’t know much more about him than we do his brothers, who remain totally in the background of this story.) In contrast, I felt that the author did a very good job letting the reader know who Ava was. The arc of Caleb and Ava’s love story was fast – and I know that happens – but that too felt underdeveloped and cliched. Another thing that bothered me was that Humberto’s character seemed superfluous – he became a caricature of the “bad guy” for me from the moment he was introduced. The threat he posed could’ve been handled in any number of different ways to make that aspect of the story more believable. And lastly … the “hotness” suggested in the title just didn’t match the story I read. So – as much as I REALLY dislike not giving a glowing review, in comparing the essence of this story told by the author to other books of this genre that I’ve read, I found this one to be just “OK”. I will, however, give this author another try in the future.

I enjoyed reading this story about Caleb and Ava. There was a lot to unpack in this book, and it was not all related to their romance. I loved the whole back story and the side characters. The story even had some mystery and intrigue. It ended with a happily ever after. I have enjoyed books written by Ms. Sloan in the past, and will be looking forward to the next one.

I’m gobsmacked by this incredibly talented author who consistently delivers the most compelling stories…
Molly, this was amazing, can’t tell you how much I loved this beautifully crafted story that dragged me in from the get go. Just can’t wait for the stories from the rest of the hero’s family & possibly for some of the other characters, excluding the creepy guy, ugh! Flawlessly written the story almost seeps into your veins it was that intense but with an underlying sense of family, connection & deep caring beyond my personal experience, I craved it. Can’t recommend this highly enough.
