This is a good quick read where a straight forward job to get a signature changes to falling in love, I liked the characters as you got to know them pretty well but I would have liked more however get this was a short book so you can’t have it all. There is a good mix of mystery, hope, twists and fate that keep you hooked on this read.

This was my first audiobook and I’m so happy I chose it.
Hope Kildare’s life is not working out the way she’d dreamed. Being a nurse practitioner is on the back burner since her mother became disabled in an accident that took her father’s life. Now all she has is work to pay off medical bills and taking care of her mom. At least she loves being a ski instructor. Anger toward her deceased father’s wealthy family has left a root of bitterness in her heart.
Lawyer Tyler Coleman has a job to do. He just never expected to find himself attracted to the lovely ski instructor and the focus of his latest assignment. I love it when the hero is a really great guy, and Tyler is. He makes some mistakes, but his heart is in the right place.
I enjoyed the story. The narration was great and I recommend Hope’s Dream. This is the third Deerbourne Inn book I’ve read and look forward to more by this Author and the Series.
Tyler and Hope will capture your hearts and have you feeling the love that radiates off them in spite of the stubbornness of Hope. Hope is a devoted daughter who is the caregiver for her mother who was injured in an accident that killed her father. When she receives letters from her grandparents, she ignores them since they disowned her father. When Tyler comes to town on behalf of her grandparents he is captivated by her. When she finds out who he is and what he represents, will it put a damper on a budding relationship?

Hope’s Dream tells of a young woman who gives up her dream to become a nurse practitioner after her mother is critically injured in a car accident. Enter Tyler, an attorney representing the estate of long-estranged family members, who offers Hope the ability to fulfill her dream as well as find resolution and forgiveness.
A sweet, fast-paced romance, this is a fabulous addition to the picturesque series set in Vermont’s Mad River Valley. Hope is the daughter we all wish for: devoted and selfless; she never feels sorry for her lost dreams and makes the most of each day. Tyler is the man we all want for our daughters: hard working, loyal, responsible. Too bad stubborn pride and ego will sometimes rear their ugly heads and put the skids to a budding romance. With the help of well-developed secondary characters this couple comes together and thrive. Well done, Ms. Jaeger.
On a scale of 1 to 5, Hope’s Dream earns a 5.

Sweet story
A sweet story, and a fast read. Likable characters and a nicely flowing storyline. I always enjoy holiday romances too, so this one was just like enjoying a nice bowl of ice cream. Light and sweet, nothing too deep, just a nice enjoyable snack.

Well written story with Hope who takes care of the invalid mother after her father was killed in the same accident that left her mother injured. She works two jobs to make ends meet but never complains. Tyler is a lawyer sent to get her signature on some legal papers by the parents of her father who disowned him years ago. He doesn’t tell her at first why he is actually in town and as they grow close he’s not sure how she will take it when she finds out.

Peggy Jaeger writes great romance! From the fast-paced action on the ski slopes to the longing looks of the potential lovers, Peggy keeps you engaged and wondering what will happen next. Her descriptions and characterizations keep you turning the page.
Hope gave up her dream of being a nurse practitioner when the accident happened. Her father died and her mother was left needing help to get through her days. Now Hope teaches skiing when she’s not slinging drinks in a bar. Whatever it takes to pay the bills.
Tyler was sent by the partners at his law firm to get the signature of the beautiful ski instructor on the paperwork. It had to be done in a hurry and she’d already ignored all his letters. It was Thanksgiving weekend and Tyler hired Hope for ski lessons. He had to get to know her in a hurry. But he never planned on falling in love.

Hope’s Dream
Deerbourne Inn
By: Peggy Jaeger
Narrated by: Giselle Lumas
Series: Deerbourne Inn Series, Book 2
This is a delightfully sweet story, one that is well written and well told. The storylines and characters are interesting and well developed. I adored Hope, she has a heart of gold to sacrifice her own dreams to take care of her mother who suffered permanent injuries from a car accident, her father did not survive that accident. Hope worked 2 jobs to make ends meet, one on the Sky slope, the other in the local bar restaurant. Tyler Coleman, an attorney for a firm in NY is on a mission to find Hope and have her sign documents she kept blowing off. He arrives at Willow Springs and stays at the infamous Deerbourne Inn. He books a lesson at Sky slope having Hope as an instructor. The two click and he works on getting closer to her, not a hard task because he sees how likable she is and the more he learns about her the more he likes. When the reason of his visit comes to light Hope is not happy, she wanted nothing to do with her father’s family and Tyler works for the law firm who is representing them. Will she sign the documents, will she forgive him for not being upfront with her from the beginning? I highly recommend this heartwarming story. Great for a rainy afternoon, a day in snow lodge or a day in the sun. Peggy Jaeger, thank you for the wonderful story!
I listened to the Audible edition, Giselle Lumas is a terrific narrator & voice performer. She brings the characters to life, gives each heart & personalty. She sets the perfect tone for the story and adds a nice dramatic flair to enhance the story and your listening pleasure. Thank you for this great & entertaining listen!
I enjoyed this book. I won it in a raffle with two other novellas. The plot was satisfying and I sympathized with Hope’s situation of taking care of her mother as the only caregiver. Peggy Jaeger writes a very descriptive romance with believable characters and smooth dialogue. Without any hesitation, I recommend Hope’s Dream!
This was a sweet story. I really enjoyed the author’s style and voice. Hope and Tyler were both believable, sympathetic characters, and I liked joining them on their romantic journey. The setting, their personalities, professions, all felt true, and not contrived. Looking forward to reading more from this author. Dark, cold winter night? Snuggle up with this happy-ever-after story with a cup of cocoa and a fire.
I liked Hope’s Dream. The characters made me care about what happened to them. A sweet read.
