Must Read: Hopelessly Shattered previously. Pregnant- ✔Single mother of two – ✔Biker best friend – ✔Ex that’s still a D-Bag – ✔ ✔New Years is the time for new beginnings. I thought I’d gotten that when I visited Texas over Thanksgiving. Then again, very little has changed. I’m still a librarian living in the same house. My daughters are growing up fast. Sure, I’ve acquired a new best friend, … acquired a new best friend, who’s convinced me it’s time to give dating fair shot. Which isn’t exactly easy when I’m pregnant with an Ashole’s baby. Does that complicate matters? Sorta. But there’s nothing left for me to do except move on. The jagged edges of my shattered heart have been polished, questions answered, and blank holes from my past plugged. Now I’m ready to take the plunge into uncharted waters to build a happier life… until a bomb comes along and tests my strength like never before. Nobody fuks with my family and gets away with it. Not even you.

Hopeful Whispers by Bink Cummings is the second book in the Sacred Sinners Motorcycle Club that I listened to on audio narrated by Kylie Stewart and Eric Rolon.
All I can say is Wow! Bink did an amazing job with this storyline. I couldn’t wait to know how the story was going to end. I cannot wait to dive into the third book Hopelessly Devoted.
Kylie and Eric did an amazing job on the Duet Narration! I absolutely love these two together. I hope to listen to more of their work in the future.

We join the story as Kat has returned from Texas keeping her trip a mystery from her mum & girls.
Ryker is faring no better now she’s left but feels he did the right thing.
I enjoyed reading this next instalment and I’m desperate for the conclusion.
I’m also hoping Kade & Rosie get a story.
Another great instalment.
Hopeful Whispers carries on with Kat’s story from Hopelessly Shattered so you do need to read that first.
Urgh where to start? I LOVED this book. I’m not going into detail with this review because I’d hate to spoil it for someone.
Kat’s never had an easy life and that doesn’t seem like it’s changing any time soon. Alone and pregnant while raising two daughters, nothing keeps Kat down for long. I admit I’m #TeamKat. She won me over fairly quickly in the first book and this book just cemented my love for her. She has a strength about her that I couldn’t help but admire. She puts her kids before anyone and I loved the bond she has with them. She’s just one of those really likeable, real characters.
Kade is another character that is very easy to love. Between his caring, protective nature and the banter he has with Kat, he’s pretty much perfect. Trying his best to support her and helping her get back on her feet…the man’s a sweetheart.
Then we have Ryker. The man I really want to dislike but can’t. He makes me feel so frustrated and torn. He infuriates me constantly but there’s something about that man that makes me swoon. The connection and sexual tension between him and Kat aswell as their history together just added to the mess that was my emotions.
This book has a little bit of everything. Humorous banter courtesy of Kade and Kat, plenty of sexual tension, heartache (my heart ached so bad at times), lies, secrets and one hell of a ending (I can’t express how much I loved that ending). This book is packed with emotion and it’s left me desperate for the final book in this trilogy.
Love it!!!!! A most read!!!!!
Hopeful Whispers is the second in the HOPE trilogy by the fantastic storyteller, Bink Cummings. You’ll want to read Hopelessly Shattered first to get the full story.
This is the continuing baby mama and daddy drama of Kat and Ryker. Kat is badass, love her. Still pregnant (bless her heart) and dealing with the Sacred Sinners at war with another MC, Kat has to try to hold on to her feelings for Ryker, her daughters’ safety, and the insanity of her previously quiet life.
I loved the dynamic between besties Kat and Kade. Their banter was hilarious!
Rosie was introduced in Hopeful Whispers. She captured my interest and I cannot wait to read her story.
Then there’s Ryker. I tried to like Ryker. He’s one of those ‘love to hate, hate to love’ characters. We shall see if he changes my mind…
This author’s writing style is one that never fails to amaze me. This was the second part of this series that will captivate you from the start to end. Kat and Ryker’s relationship continue to keep you on a wild ride of emotions. And boy does it have an explosive ending that will leave you reeling and wanting more. I literally was left gasping and thinking WTF and OMG! Can’t wait for more! Loved it!
This is the great continuation of Kat and Ryker’s crazy on again off again relationship with his pregnant wife and Kade throw into the mix! Wonderful read! Can’t wait for the next one!
Bink Cummings has outdone herself with Hopeful Whispers, the second book of this trilogy. Her best work yet. The details and the emotions within the characters was felt throughout the entire book. The camaraderie between Kat and Kade is off the charts!!! The dysfunctional relationship Riker and Kat has is a roller coaster ride with twists and turns. The love between Kat and her daughters you can feel with each word written. This is a must read!!
I’ve been eagerly awaiting this book since the moment I finished Hopelessly Shattered, this is one book I could not put down.
Katrina’s moving on with her life, raising her girls, finally taking a step she’s put off forever when it all comes crashing down. Crashing down in a major way, bringing everything she’s tried to protect her girls and herself from front and center.
Life’s all about changes right? Doesn’t mean they have to be good ones….
Once again Ryker is in her life, just not the way he should be. Thank goodness for Kade or she’d probably go nuts, he’s her anchor through the shitstorm that has become her life.
One day she’s worried about going on a first date, the next she’s faced with an uncertain future and the man she never wanted to be face to face with again.
Thankfully this book is huge, it gave me tons of time with the characters. Some I love, some I loathe, one in particular I was thrilled to see get theirs. Even though the book is big and kept me thoroughly engaged I was cursing at the end, yes this is a trilogy, yes I knew the likelihood of some kind of messed up ending but this one was a slap in the face. A bucket of ice over my head. One that left me feeling off. Cursing, yelling, wanting to beg for just one more chapter. This was one of my most anticipated reads this year and boy did it live up to my expectations and then some. I’m now ready for book three please.
Let’s start off by saying I really love anything that this author writes she is at the top of one of my favorite MC Romance writers. Some of my favorite characters Bink.Big,Gunz. I have to say that I am also loving this new series but, I HATE reading books with Cliffhangers!I understand why the author has chosen to write this new series this way as she is giving the reader a story not rushed and complete and these main characters have a history that is complicated and she is not rushing to end their journey but, I still hate cliffhangers and this one had me having my mouth wide open saying OMG !OMG!No…….
I have to say that I loved the story from cover to cover and once I started reading it I didn’t put it down until it was finished and at that point I didn’t wanted it to end. OMG ! hours later and I was still thinking about that ending. Now thats a great book!
I love when you can connect with the character that you read about and I was able to do that with this cast.I know once that happens at the beginning of the story I knew I was going to love it and I did even Ryker as I just want to constantly smack him up side his head for constantly hurting Kat.I loved how our favorites from a previous series showed up and played a part in this current story like Big and Gunz as I just love Gunz he is just to funny.
This was and emotional tale for sure.A definite roller coaster of ups and downs along with twists turns with heartache ,pain and suspense.I love how the story unfolded throughout the story alway keeping you on edge to see what happens next.
I always pick a favorite character in a story and this time around Kat is going to be mine.I saw a different side of her this time around. She was always a strong women but, we saw a lot of her fire and determination.I loved how she loved her children with her whole heart. What a strong single parent with two kids and a baby in her belly and the mother of three from a man she can never have and never stop loving. My heart broke throughout the story for her as she was just the sweetest person in the world and a wonderful mother and just didn’t deserve what life kept dishing out to her.I found her to be loving and beautiful inside and out and had a sense of humor.I loved her fire and passion for life and most of all a wonderful mother.
Ryker on the other hand I found sexy and hot as hell but, throughout the whole story I wanted to just punch him constantly and kept screaming at him saying “When are you going to get your priorities straight and stop hurting the women you love and your family! “Ryker is a character you love and hate at the same time.Max he was a character that I fell in love with from the very beginning.Max is Kat’s savior who offers constant support and just loves her
unconditionally and we are so glad she has him as her best friend.
Favorite scene in the story would have to be what transpired in the doctors omg! I felt for once that Kat was put first for the first time in a very long time.
Just and amazing story all around with a wonderful cast of characters to love and hate. This one goes into the keeper pile and I will be re-reading this book and this series over and over again it was just that good.
Recommended read to all!
This authors story keeps better and better!
