Hopechest will take you on an emotional roller coaster ride and if you love Salvatore Raniero you will enjoy every emotional twisted turn along the way. This is the final book in the SOS series and another great addition to this series. Kaci and Sal fell in love and they go through so much struggling on their journey but they are perfect for each other. This book is a great ending to one of my favorite series this year. I highly recommend all of Kailee Reese Samuels books and I look forward to reading more books by this author. I
Hopechest is Sal and Kaci’s love story. With only six months to live, Kaci helps Sal find his dominant side. So many unanswered question that keeps you intrigued, craving the next book! I would definitely recommend this series!

“Pull the Hope out of your soul.”
Hopechest is a beautifully written, emotional book. If you have read Juliet then you kind of know what you’re getting into but it does not lessen the blow at all. I took my time savoring this book, honestly I needed time to process my emotions. I loved how the story was told. It guts you from the beginning and then explains why you’re heart is breaking.
“A hysterical ache took hold, ripping his heart in pieces and leaving him shattered in the remains.”
Kaci wasn’t given a choice in life but the decisions she does get to make are selfless. She is probably the most unselfish, generous and compassionate person I have ever read. Everything she does is to benefit Sal in the present and future. She wants to provide him with the knowledge he needs in order to become the Dom she sees within.
“Promise me that you will never go backwards, Sal… Always keep moving forward.”
My beautiful Sal, he always finds a new way to shock me while making me fall harder for him. He shows strength, devotion and just how deep his love runs for Kaci. He endures so much in this book and series but never fails to show you how tough he is and that he is a fighter.
“Oscar. Bananas. Trapped. Blood. Go. I am tough, I am tough- I. Am. Tough.”
“Take me instead.”
Everyone grieves and loves differently and I’m in awe of how Kailee is able to show me ways that no other author has before. This book reminds me a lot of Juliet because it does not go the safe route most would choose. It will shock you and pull at your heartstrings until you have nothing left and then demand more. I cannot recommend this book enough. I will leave you with the same words I used with Juliet. If you are looking for a book that lives outside of the box this one is for you.
“Thank you for the last dance, my final escort to the heavens. You will always be my storm and my rain and everything good.”
With each new book of the Juliet universe, I’m more and more impressed by Kailee Reese Samuels’ talent. Hopechest reaches a whole new level of intricacy, the depth of the plot, and the connections between the characters utterly mesmerized me. I’m warning you, Kailee’s universe is seriously addicting and even a little obsessing! Truths hide new lies and revelations only bring out more questions. KRS is brilliant, she plays with her readers’ minds, chances are you won’t know what’s going to hit you until it’s too late!
Add to that amazing sensation, endearing characters whose feelings, emotions, reactions are vibrant and painfully realistic. The more I read about them, the more I feel for them. Sal’s loneliness seized my heart throughout the story. Although surrounded by friends, his need to be loved, to find love was heartbreaking.
Stuck between his submission and his more and more pronounciated dominance, Sal blurred the boundaries; the sensuality and erotism in this book, the respect and empathy were raw and beautiful. Clearly, the new Sal, with all his scars and his new found maturity, is magnificent.
Hopechest is a book I would have devoured but ended up savoring every word, every tear and every fun moment.
