No one knows what they’re made of until they’re broken. At the tender age of twenty-two, Hope Ali has finally joined the organization of her dreams, the Agency, an elite group of attorneys who go undercover to right wrongs the law can’t. The requirements are stringent, the training exhausting. After seeking asylum in the United States when she was sixteen, Hope and her father, Sheikh Harun Ali, … Ali, settled in a quiet Wisconsin town, hiding from those who had placed a price on their heads. Still, she excelled, finishing her university and law school education by the time she was twenty-one. Now, after breezing through the Agency training program, Hope appears to be indestructible—until she is assigned a simple task during the rescue of an author among the disappeared in the UAE. The task? To distract the woman’s captors until she can be spirited out of the country. Unfortunately, a member of MISix has other plans. In an attempt to disrupt the Agency’s mission, she tips off one of Hope’s enemies, alerting them to her location. Hope manages to lead the author’s captors on a merry dance, freeing others to rescue her, until she is unexpectedly confronted with a violent angry mob intent on harm. She is left bloody and broken. No one knows whether Hope’s body or her mind will heal. Suddenly Hope is no longer just her name. It is also the one thing she must embrace to find her new normal.

I loved the first half of the story. It moves along and has enough excitement to keep me glued to the pages. That Hope! She is Wonder Woman! When the action started in the second half of the book I was again hooked. What these people go through is crazy! I enjoyed this book and this series. It seems it might start a new direction after this one. We shall see!
It is great to see some of the characters we have come to love in previous stories. I look forward to more.
Kay continues to excite and enthrall me in this latest book of hers in my hands. I was glued to this book and my seat as I navigated this thrilling tale. The characters leapt off the pages and I simply couldn’t walk away from the book until I finished the last page. Highly recommended – simply fantastic!
Hope (Feisty Lawyers Series Book 4) by Seelie Kay
5-stars
Hope (Feisty Lawyers Series Book 4) by Seelie Kay was an excellent action packed romance. There is so much wrapped up in this short book that it was hard to put down. It can easily be read in one setting. Although the story has a strong focus on Hope, there are a lot of things in the previous books of the series that lead up to a lot of detail with this story. Hope has grown up a lot since she was originally intr6and is training for special ops herself. Someone from her long ago past surfaces and a lot of crazy things happen. I loved how strong willed she was and determined her character was. It was definitely a fun read following Hope and I believe this is my new favorite book in this series. I highly recommend it!
Seelie Kay is an author that I highly recommend if you like suspense stories. Hope is the fourth book in the Feisty Lawyers series. If you have not read the first three books, I would recommend you read them to get the most enjoyment out of Hope. One thing that Seelie Kay that I love is I am head over heels before the end of the first paragraph. She grabs me and I cannot stop reading until the end of the book. For that reason, I highly suggest you leave enough time so that you can read the book in one sitting. The characters are fully developed and the plot keeps you going because you want to know what is going to happen next. It is said that only those who have been broken and hit rock bottom knows the strength that it takes to pull themselves out. Hope is that person. She wanted to join “the Agency” which is the organization of her dreams. “The Agency” is an elite group of attorneys who will go undercover to “right wrongs” the law can’t. There is one problem with her becoming apart of “the Agency” someone wants her to lose hope. Will Hope lose hope or will Hope rise above all? Will her past come to get her? I highly recommend reading if you want the answers to this mystery.
I love this book. This series gets better and better. I highly recommend reading the previous books in this series. One of my favorite things about this author is how she can pull me into her story, keep me engaged and takes me on an adventure of action and suspense. Hope joins the organization of her dreams until she was left for dead. Will she heal and find the hope she needs? Great characters and great twists and turns. This is a must read, I highly recommend it.
