It’s supposed to be fun without strings, but resisting her is so damn hard.I’m good in bed and I know what I want.So when a curvy grad student catches my eye, I do what I do best. I take her home. I kiss her hard. I– well, a gentleman doesn’t kiss and tell.I don’t expect to want more. But I do.Iris is smart, sweet, and innocent as hell. I need her as often as possible. We strike up an arrangement. … often as possible.
We strike up an arrangement. There are three rules. All fun. No strings. No falling in love.
But then I’ve never been very good at following rules.

I love how Ms. KASWELL writes. Makes me fall in love with the main characters and hate the the bag guys. I fell in love with allnof them at inked hearts

This is a fantastic read. You can’t go wrong with Crystal Kaswell!
I’m really enjoying this bad boy tattoo artist series by Crystal Kaswell. Playing in the second book in the series and centered around Walker and Iris. I really enjoyed this couple. They had a real life struggle that they needed to overcome. And like in real life said struggle was pushed under the table so they could enjoy themselves. Walker kept saying the past was in the past and to not worry about it. But when things came out he had a hard time accepting his own words. Sounds like something you would hear, or feel in real life, which is part of the reason I really enjoyed this story. I’m glad I got a chance to read it and now I’m looking forward to Ryan’s story (and wondering if I’m correct on his love interest).
Wow what an impressive book this is!!
Walker is the “happy go lucky” tattoo artist from Inked Hearts. We begin to learn that is a mask that’s hiding a deep & dark hurt from constantly being disappointed by & terrified for his addict sister!! He is a man who*re & can’t face the thought of falling in love as loving someone leads to pain!! He goes home for a one night stand with Iris.
Iris is a Graduate Student in Psychology who wants to go into research about addicts. She has a one night stand, which is amazing, with Walker. He leaves the next morning & she finds a coffee & note with his number, she tears it up as she fears getting close to him as she has issues of her own. Later that day she goes to get her first ever tattoo & you can guess who her artist is
A friends with benefits relationship starts up that could develop into more, possibly. The story looks quite openly at addiction, the addict, coping with life after rehab & developing new coping mechanisms. I’m not suggesting it’s a self help book but it can feel quite raw & painful for all concerned!!
I highly recommend this one!! (Read using Kindle Unlimited)
