The steamy Chicago Rebels series returns with this racy and sassy tale of embittered hearts, second chances, and going for the goal–on and off the ice. Violet Vasquez never met her biological father, so learning he left his beloved hockey franchise–the Chicago Rebels–to her is, well, unexpected. Flat broke and close to homeless, Violet is determined to make the most of this sudden opportunity. … sudden opportunity. Except dear old dad set conditions that require she takes part in actually running the team with the half-sisters she barely knows. Working with these two strangers and overseeing a band of hockey-playing lugs is not on her agenda…until she lays eyes on the Rebels captain and knows she has to have him.
Bren St. James has been labeled a lot of things: the Puck Prince, Lord of the Ice, Hell’s Highlander…but it’s the latest tag that’s making headlines: washed-up alcoholic has-been. This season, getting his life back on track and winning the Cup are his only goals. With no time for relationships–except the fractured ones he needs to rebuild with his beautiful daughters–he’s finding it increasingly hard to ignore sexy, all-up-in-his-beard Violet Vasquez. And when he finds himself in need of a nanny just as the playoffs are starting, he’s faced with a temptation he could so easily get hooked on.
For two lost souls, there’s more on the line than just making the best of a bad situation… there might also be a shot at the biggest prize of all: love.more
And the hero has a Scottish accent. Bookbub needs to add this tab to their reviews– Hero with delicious accent. Loved everything about this book and am sorry to see the series end!
“O Captain! My captain!”
Bittersweet, the final installment of the oh-so-amazing #ChicagoRebels series. I’ve loved every page of every book and I’m sad it’s over. But what a perfect finale #HookedOnYou was…sigh.
I met Bren, the surly Scott, in previous books. He’s the captain of the team, and he’s very lucky to not have lost that title with his past shenanigans. He let the bottle get the best of him and hit rock bottom, risking his career and his family. When he showed up to a game drunk, Harlow, the team’s new female owner gave him “orders to dry out or get out.” That was the wake-up call he needed to realize what he had to be thankful for and what was at stake.
I have to admit, Violet is my favorite of the three sisters. She’s got enough sass and spicy Latino flavor to have all the players drooling over her. She takes her self-appointed job of team morale-boosting very seriously and finds creative ways to entertain the men. Not having been raised on hockey like her sisters, she doesn’t have sport-related skills to offer, but support and enthusiasm make her a well-loved addition to the team family.
Bren has been attempting to keep his eyes and other parts of his body off of Violet from the first moment he saw her. He knows that he has much more important things to focus on as he tries to reclaim his family and his future. But the damn woman drives him crazy. She pushes all of his buttons, on purpose, making him feel #Quangry, queasy and angry. As his team gets closer and closer to their goal of winning the cup, he finds himself between a rock and a hard place. The hard place is between his legs and the rock is his new nanny. How the hell is he supposed to resist her when she’s in his house, with his children, worming her way into all of their hearts?
Let me tell you, being inside Violet’s head is better than chocolate. What comes out of her mouth is unfiltered, but her internal dialogue is even better. I hate grocery shopping, but going with Violet and Bren was an experience that brought a smile to my face. “Meet ‘n’ greet-slash-eye-fuck in aisle five.”
The explosive chemistry and banter between Vi and ‘Mr. Kilt ‘n’ Built’ is hotter than her #Dicktabase and almost melted my Kindle. How cruel of the author to not share the Tumblr handle for us to stalk, right? I also enjoyed the banter between sisters. They are all so opposite, but still supportive of each other as they grow closer while carrying out their father’s wishes. Their sense of humor kept me giggle-snorting throughout. I especially got a kick out of, Sheesh, I’m thinking we need to put something in the player’s contracts. Must be willing to sleep with management.”
And of course, the suspense of whether the girls will be able to meet the terms of their father’s will regarding the future of the franchise is exciting too. Will the #Chicago Rebels win the Stanley Cup, or will winning the hearts of the sisters be enough for the NHL players who fell for them? I happened upon this author by accident, but I guarantee that I’ll keep reading her books on purpose. I’m already suffering withdrawal and I’m anxious to see what she has for her readers next. The line forms here…
This is the fourth in Chicago Rebels Series that centers around youngest sister Violet Vasquez and team Captain Bren St. James. Violet was the illegitimate daughter of Clifford Chase, owner of the Chicago Rebels Hockey team. Other than paying for her schooling, Clifford never acknowledged her while he was alive. Upon his death, he gave the team to Violet and her sisters with the condition that they had to go to the home games, make decisions together and take the second to last team to the play offs. To say that Violet has some abandonment issues is an understatement. Bren has issues of his own. Last season his alcoholism came to a head and he was told he had to go to rehab. He is now sober, but still working on his sobriety. His ex-wife decides she needs to find herself and dumps Bren’s daughters with him. He is thrilled as he loves his daughters, but he needs help while he is working. Of course, the woman he has been verbally sparring with, Violet, is the one person that is available to help. Nice set up for a forbidden romance. I loved both characters, the have a lot of insecurities and pain they need to work through before they can get to their happily ever after. If you are a fan of sports/hockey romance, this is a fun series.
Sometimes Violet’s way of reassuring Bren doesn’t go as planned, “…Harper needed help and I offered my services. Calm down, I’m not here to corrupt you.” A strangled sound emerged from his throat. Dressed like that, she could corrupt the pope.” The thoughts that run through Bren’s mind are of a typical male, “…Two little sprites, a demon on four legs, and a— what should he call Violet? A siren. A temptress. A pain in his ***. More like your balls, St. James.” This was my favorite out of the series, I loved Violet and Bren.
Calling all fans of the Las Vegas Golden Knights and their Cinderella journey to the Stanley Cup Finals… Kate Meader’s last installment in the Chicago Rebels series, Hooked on You should be your next read. Filled with heart, an underdog hockey team run by women that no one took seriously, and the perfect team of misfits, this book has it all; there is even a cameo by a reader favorite couple from the Fighting Dempsey’s. I have loved this series from the beginning and reading it during Finals was absolutely perfect.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this novel.
This is a beautifully written story about two people who know the downs of life but do not let it ruin their lives. Who knew that Violet had such a maternal instinct? Both Bren and Violet are vulnerable but hang onto the hope that they can make it together even through their bumps and missteps. This story really surprised me in how emotional and heartwarming it is and how these two wonderful characters get exactly what they deserve – LOVE!
I received a complimentary copy from the publisher through NetGalley.

I hope that Kate Meader never stops writing this series. It’s true that this is my favorite…actually they have all been my favorites. But I have secretly been pining away for the story of the Scot vs. The Latina. I knew it would be magic, sass, and grumpy grunts. I knew it would involve nosey friends, manipulating sisters, and tension that could trip an entire herd of Clydesdales.
Hooked On You is sweet, sassy, and hot. It’s full of Latin flavor and short on Haggis ( thank God! Lol). There is plenty of Nessie to go around. There’s even some smooth Russian ice, a decadent Italian stallion, the Texas home slice, and the spicy Cajun too. Don’t think you have to read the other books first; it’s not a requirement, just a way of life.
I love Chicago’s Rebels and the women that run/skate circles around them too.
The amazing men and women from the Chicago Rebels are back!
I loved Violet and Bren’s story they may have had a slow sizzle but they are quite the dynamic duo.
Violet is the forgotten sister that is willed a part of the franchise when her non-involved father/ owner of the team passes. She works in conjunction with her newly found family to help this team finally have their day on the ice! She is the cheerleader ..loud ,,proud and in charge.
Bren is our brooding sexy Scotsman and Team Captain. He has risen above his addiction to alcohol and is now on the road to recovery. He is just getting his bearings when he is once again taken down by his ex- wife . The team rallies to help him with his family emergency and Violet somehow is wrangled into being a make shift nanny!
They are totally opposite ..Violet is sassy, outspoken, colorful and not wanting to be tied down. Bren is quiet, reserved , brooding and recovering .
When these two are thrown together , the sexual tension can be cut with a knife and throw in a few emotional children , an ex wife and insecurities on both ends and you have a wild emotional ride !
Loved their story cast of characters are also fabulous !!!

I have been eagerly awaiting Violet and Bren’s story, and Kate Meader definitely saved the best for last in the series!
Violet only recently met the stepsisters she knew existed but that she wasn’t allowed to meet until after her father’s death, and she is very different from both Harper and Isobel. After a scare with the big “C”, Violet is focusing on living her life to the fullest because tomorrow is never guaranteed. She never dreamed of owning one third of a hockey franchise and she knew little about the sport when she arrived in Chicago, but the team and her sisters are growing on her despite her best efforts not to set down roots. She first met the burly Scot known as the Highlander on the day she learned the details of her father’s will and she couldn’t deny the attraction after a long dry spell, but she had no idea that Bren was also the captain of the team she now partly owns. He shot her down in any case, and she has never forgotten it.
Bren was not in a good place the day he and Violet met, but every time he sees her his defenses kick into high gear. She loves to tease and poke at him, and he gets riled up in all the good ways by that. He is still in the first twelve months of sobriety after a stint in rehab and losing custody of his daughters to his ex-wife, and he cannot allow his little head to rule him in this situation. If he has any hope of staying on the straight and narrow and getting his girls back, he cannot afford to be associated with a party-hard good time girl like Violet.
Of course he has no idea exactly what she has been through or how much they might have in common, and the sparks that are flying could go either way between attraction and distaste on any given day. They both get under the skin of the other though and it doesn’t take long for the heat to kick into high gear. Bren’s ex is one serious piece of work, and suddenly both his girls are living with him again while Kendra takes some time for herself. He knows that translates into trouble on the horizon as she schemes and plots her latest maneuver to try to manipulate him. Unfortunately the girls are just a pawn to her, and that truth has heartbreaking effects on them. Bren is determined to be the best father he can be in effort to make up for the years of bad decisions and poor parenting skills while he was drinking, and he cannot afford to allow Violet to break his concentration… until he realizes she is the perfect solution to his problems. He needs someone to help with the girls, and both Franky and Cat take a liking to Violet in spite of her fear of kids.
The girls are the most adorable kind of schemers! They genuinely like Violet (although Cat is a moody pre-teen for awhile after she arrives), and they want to see their dad happy so shenanigans will ensue. Bren is absolutely heartmelting in his moments with them, and Vi is a swooning puddle in no time at all. She doesn’t want to fall in love, but Bren is exactly the type that she can go down hard for… if only she didn’t have her mind set on traveling the world with her share of the value of the team.
Hooked on You is about building relationships on many different levels, and it finally dawns on Violet that she doesn’t need to travel the world when she has everything she could want right there in Chicago. The question is: does her new extended family really want her? And where does she fit into Bren’s future if she does at all?
I loved this book! From the snarky banter between Vi and Bren, the moments with the kids, and various interactions with the team and her sisters that break down the walls around her heart to the combustible moments that set the pages on fire, I definitely enjoyed this story the most out of all the stories in the series. For those who have read the other books, we get plenty of the other couples to keep us up to date on their lives as well as a cameo or two from the author’s Hot in Chicago series! I am going to miss this group of characters, but Hooked on You will definitely be on my re-read list in the future.
Addictive and mesmerizing, I loved the grumpy Scot and his vivacious girl from the first page to the last. I cannot recommend this book—this entire series—highly enough.
What an ending! Can’t wait for rookie series! Loved Bren. Yes he was an alcoholic. Yes he had a disease and problems and made mistakes but he was atoning and working in himself. Let’s point out that it was basically inferred that his b**ch of an ex wife was cheating on him with a footballer cause she was always on the look out for the next best thing. (Frankly basically said you could have a bf and husband cause their different at the same time. Good job mom). But she also trapped him with a pregnancy and then it sounded like she also played on his insecurities when he obviously has issues and alcohol problems. So she sucks and honestly deserved what she got. Just wish the scene where put her In Her place about custody was in there because she deserved to be dropped a couple peg runs. Loved violet. She was fine and flirty and tried to be fireless after all she has been through. Loved how Bren and Vi always seemed to orbit one another. They were drawn to each other and balanced one another out and made one another better. Loved the dirty talk and steamy Scot!! Loved that we got some more happy endings/resolution for Isobel and Harper. And more PDA happy moments with Cade and Dante.
What an incredible book & series!! Violet & Bren’s book had all the feels, I laughed, cried. These two so deserved their HEA along with Bren’s two daughters Cat & Franky. One of my favorite parts was Violet singing & dancing in the grocery store, I can definitely relate to that! The supporting characters are just as amazing as Violet & Bren. The Chase sisters & their men Remy, Vlad & Bren were a such a pleasure to read, I didn’t want their books to end! Next is Cade & Dante’s book. I highly recommend this book, series & author!!
I’m so incredibly sad that this amazing series is concluding. But Kate Meader sure gave us one hell of a conclusion with Bren and Violet’s story!
Violet is the third and last of the three sisters who co-own the Chicago Rebels. Violet was the sister I was most intrigued by. In the previous installments, she showed pieces of herself, and they were all interesting, sharp little bits, but nothing concrete. She was obviously witty and interesting, but she had a hard outer shell that I could tell was hiding some kind of pain. Here in her own story, she showed all of herself, and it was beautiful. Paired with an equally beautiful man, with his own inner pain, and oh God, I fell hard for these two as they fought hard to keep their hearts intact.
Bren is the captain of the Rebels. He’s been fighting to get himself on track so he can have a life with his beautiful daughters. When he comes into contact with feisty, sassy Violet, the grumpy Scot doesn’t know what hit him. Inviting her into his life as the nanny was either a stroke of genius or the thing that would tear his life apart. Thank God it was the former.
I’m really, really going to miss this series. It’s so emotionally detailed. So heart-rendingly sexy. So witty and fun. Each sister and their men and Dante and his man Cade, and the whole team, have found their way into my heart. I’m sad to see them go but am excited for what Kate Meader will bring me next.
Violet and Bren are finding their places in the world right next to each other. Violet has been trying to find her place in her newly minted family. Having spent her many years knowing about father and sisters, but never being welcomed in to the fold makes her leery to open her arms and heart. And with everything she went through after her diagnosis, she’s dedicated to enjoying her days. The Year of V lead her to following her late father’s will edict and running the team with her sisters, but she knows she’s not cut out for this Hockey Life. She figures she will just sell her stake in the Rebels and slowly fade out. One hitch in that plan is a sexy brooding Scotsman and their insane chemistry. He has kept her at arms length and she’s done everything in her power to get under his skin. Bren has been working the program so hard since he got out of rehab and will do anything to protect his sobriety. When his ex flakes out and suddenly he is given his girls back he knows he’s going to have call on his hockey community for a helping hand. When nanny candidate after candidate bites the dust, Bren has to decide between childcare and his sanity when the Siren Violet seems like the only viable option. Violet has burrowed deep under his skin since their first meeting, but in order to stay the AA course he has avoided temptation. With her caring for his kids and just being all together Violet, Bren knows he doesn’t stand a chance of avoiding her. But with the playoffs, his kids well-being, and his heart on the line – Bren will need to take a chance on love and happiness no matter what he feels he deserves.
I voluntarily read an advance reader copy if this book.
If your looking for a fun, super sexy, sizzling, romance with some family drama, personal conflict and an ex that just wont go away, Hooked on You, the third installment of the Chicago Rebels series, by Kate Meader is the book for you.
Meader takes to the ice again but I’m surprised the ice has not melted with this one!!! Right from the start you are off and running with chemistry that is jumping off the pages.
The “pull” between Bren and Violet that is undeniable, but the story to the end is remarkable. This story is filled with real-life situations, many that sadly are very relatable. Bren is a recovering alcoholic and Violet a survivor of cancer. The way Meader writes: the angst, the humor when needed, the touch of serious issues, makes this story that much more.
Violet is just surviving, nearly broke and dealing with cancer. When she discovers who her father is and the stipulations that go with, it brings Violet into a whole new family. Trying to make the most out of this unique situation, brings Bren into her life.
Bren, “the washed-up alcoholic has been”, has something to strive for now, his daughters, But having a chance encounter with Violet makes his struggle a little harder.
These Violet and Bren encounters are nothing more than trying to push each other away, but they are thrown together when Bren needs a nanny. It is hard to push someone away that you are pulled to, so the sparks fly, truths are revealed and that line that you shouldn’t cross becomes a little blurry!!!
Another aspect of this book that I really enjoyed was the cultural aspects. Violet’s Latina background with the food and Bren’s Scottish heritage, makes this book just that much better.

Mary Jo –
I’ve been waiting for this book for ages and couldn’t put it down once I started.
The way that Violet and Bren have been dancing around each other has been entertaining to say the least, but the way that they look at each other when they think no one is watching is smoking hot.
Bren really steps up to the plate when Violet has a medical scare that leaves her overwrought and emotional. That’s when you know he cares. He’s done a lot of things that could have ended his career and has been walking the straight and narrow for quite a while. Yet when he finds out that Violet went to the doctor alone, he runs out of practice because he thinks that she doesn’t need to be alone. He’ll take the scolding from the team so that Violet will have support. That says it all.
Violet really likes Bren, but she’s never been enough for anyone, including her father or her mother, so why should she think she’d be good enough for Bren. After all, he’s a HAF hockey player and she’s damaged goods. After all, the big C didn’t only take her confidence, it took her breasts as well.
Watching Violet come to terms with her sisters and seeing Bren finally shake the mistakes of his past makes this book very special. I can only hope that we see more of the Rebels in either a spin-off or novellas because I truly hope that Kate Meader isn’t through with this world she’s built.

Violet’s book is the perfect end to a new favourite series. I knew her story was going to be good – and it is fabulous. It is full of good feels – I was a blubbering mess after only a few chapters and it was impossible to put down.
This should be a heavy story. Violet is a cancer survivor who falls hard for Bren, a recovering alcoholic. But while Bren is a properly dour Scotsman, Violet’s quirky warmth and her irrepressible attitude bring humour and a sense of playfulness to a book that could otherwise have been a difficult read. And although I usually hate kids in romance, I have to admit that Bren’s daughters also add humour and joy to the story.
Beyond Bren and Violet’s story, this is also the final book about the Chase sisters and the Rebels hockey team. At the end of the season, the three women have brought their team of hopeless underdogs to the playoffs and the Stanley Cup is within their grasp. This final book is about the relationships between the sisters, the relationships between teammates, and the sense of family that has taken them all by surprise.
I loved this series from the start and it just keeps getting better across the four books. I love reading about strong, interesting women and I love that this series is as much about the relationships between the three estranged half-sisters as it is about the sisters’ romances. And there is enough hockey action to keep the interest of serious fans. And for me, this is finally a hockey romance series without the tired alpha male/vulnerable female character tropes that I find troubling. I love this series and I love how Violet’s story ties all the loose threads together in a perfect conclusion.
Ruthie –
5 stars – like every other book in the series – but possibly my favourite of all!
This is book three, the last sister’s love story – but there is a 2.5 addition to the series giving us Dante Moretti’s love story, which is also a fabulous read. I would highly recommend that you read them in order, as there are underlying themes and plots which you would benefit from knowing. They are all really good books, so it will be no hardship.
Violet has been the sister on the sidelines all through the series, and now that the team and her inheritance are safe, she could leave. This is very disquieting for her, as she intended to feel nothing and just walk away, but over the months she has become close to her half-sisters. She also has not got over her strong attraction to Bren St. James – unrequited, but present nonetheless. Kate Meader has saved their story for last, and I loved every second of them working through their own issues, and those which they imagine they cause each other. There are so many wonderful, laughable, tear-inducing, sexy, moving moments, I can’t begin to explain. It is in the small details, which explain so much whilst saying so little. Cade, Harper, and Isobel also manage to repay the interferences that ensured that they also found their happily ever after.
As well as getting a beautiful and much deserved happy ending for Violet, Bren, Cat, and Franky, we get to see everyone’s story rounded out – and most excitingly of all, we get lots of lovely, successful hockey games which culminate in the ultimate success that they all desired and deserved. So they brought to fruition their father’s dream, and succeeded where he failed. Truly a beautifully executed series, thank you Kate Meader.
Reviewers on the Wicked Reads Review Team were provided a free copy of Hooked on You (Chicago Rebels #4) by Kate Meader to read and review.
I tend to turn away from books that have a heroine who is that free-spirited, wild child kinda character but I’d been drawn in by the other books and already started to fall for Bren … and Violet too, I admit. She’s not one of those in your face, “I gotta be me” kind of people. Instead she’s a glorious mix of daddy issues and seize the day mentality. Having faced cancer at a very early age she’s pretty set on living life to the fullest and you gotta admire that! If doing that also involves teasing a broody, sexy Scot … well, that just makes for even better reading 🙂
While Bren has his reasons for being so broody (he did fall into the bottle pretty darn far), he’s working hard to get his life back on track. It’s been almost a year but he’s serious about being the man his daughters, his team, and at some point a partner deserves. He’s still a little unsteady on his feet so he’s trying to avoid anything too tempting – and Violet is oh-so-tempting.
Returning readers will have enjoyed seeing bits and pieces of their dance over the last few books but it is so very satisfying to get it in full detail. Meader has never failed to deliver the feels and she does it again here in spades. And not just with Bren and Violet. While I loved how she made sure that readers understood where those two were coming from every step of the way, I think I might have loved the relationship Bren has with his team just as much as finally getting this particular HEA 🙂

Kate Meader scores a hat trick with book three in the Chicago Rebels series, HOOKED ON YOU. After never meeting her biological father, Violet Vasquez inherited a third of the Chicago Rebels hockey team, along with her two half-sisters. She doesn’t plan on sticking around after the season is over. Meanwhile, the Chicago Rebels captain, Bren St. James, needs a nanny. With the playoffs at stake, Violet takes the job. This contemporary sports romance is suitable for adult audiences.
I like Bren. He is a recovering alcoholic. His kids mean the world to him. His ex-wife, Kendra, is a piece of work. Violet is good for him. Violet is an amazing character. She survived breast cancer. She doesn’t feel like she fits in. She doesn’t realize the impact she has made on everyone’s lives since she moved to Chicago. She’s fun and encouraging. Bren and Violet both grow throughout the story.
I enjoyed HOOKED ON YOU. It was an entertaining read. The characters faced relevant obstacles. I love the Ferris Bueller’s Day Off scene. That was classic.
I have enjoyed the plot of the Chicago Rebels series. It is unique and charming. The new management at the Chicago Rebels is unconventional. I love that the team supports and appreciates them. I recommend reading these books in order. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.
I’ve been waiting very patiently for this book just to get me some more of Bren. When Kate Meader introduced him in book one as big, broody and a Jason Mamoa look alike…I was sold and he did not disappoint. Add in him being such a great dad to two little girls, well lets just say there will be many hearts falling for this guy.
As much as I like to dedicate my whole review to Bren, Violet held her own against him. You learned in previous books that she survived breast cancer but we only got to see her as the fun loving woman who just wanted to enjoy life. Who could blame her for that? I’m so glad we got to see a deeper side to her. There was so much more to learn about her and enjoy about her character. I hurt for her and I rejoiced for her. She is type of character you wish you could get to know in real life.
I’m sad to see this series end. We’ve gotten to know some fun characters that kept us entertained. I also really loved the message of girl power in this series. I don’t think we see enough of women being lifted up and Kate Meader did a fantastic job of that. These books can be read as a standalone but you will get so much more if you start from the beginning and get to know all these characters from the start.
What do a washed up alcoholic has been hockey player and a snarky woman who has daddy issues and appears to be both flighty and superficial have in common?
On the surface? Not much, but beneath the stereotypes and first impressions are two people trying to make things right, trying to figure out their place with the Chicago Rebels, with their family, and with one another. Because despite his broodiness and her free-spirited personality…despite their respective fears… despite the fact that Bren St. James seems unimpressed by Violet Vasquez.
Out of the three sisters, Violet’s story is the one I’ve wanted the most. Throughout the previous books in the series, Violet’s seemed so full of life and grateful for what she’s been given, despite the pressures that come with it. Her witty comebacks and her passion to make every day count makes her extremely likable, which is why people can’t help but want to be around her, and while she doesn’t know much about the game of hockey, what she does understand is the value of family and the value of positive thinking.
Bren’s life is about as unstable as they come, which means there’s no way his focus should be on a certain firecracker who knows how to push his buttons like no one else. When Bren hit rock bottom, he could have lost everything, and he probably should have lost his C as captain of the Chicago Rebels, but thanks to Harper, he’s working on making amends and his number one priority, besides his hockey career, is rebuilding his relationship with his daughters, and it’s with them in mind that Violet becomes an integral part of all of their lives, turning their mutual attraction into a temptation that refuses to be denied, even though that makes everything much more tenuous for everyone involved.
Violet and Bren’s relationship is a slow burn in every sense of the word, which plays well with what both of them are dealing with on top of their developing feelings for one another. And while there are undoubtedly road blocks to creating a meaningful bond between them, it’s clear that they could be something so good with just a bit of effort.
I’ve absolutely loved Kate Meader’s Chicago Rebels series. The family and team dynamics grow throughout each book, which means by the time readers reach the final book, which is this one, it’s clear just how much the sisters mean to each other and gains the Chicago hockey organization makes with these passionate and intelligent women at the helm.
