The storyline was good and the characters were interesting enough to keep my attention throughout the entire book! I was so engrossed in this story that I ended up reading this book in one sitting!
A new series that I will be following it is called Bay City Medical Romance series. A well written story with a great storyline and pages that flowed smoothly from one to the other. Scrub nurse Reagan Fowler and Pediatric cardiac surgeon Dean Everly’s story grabbed my interest from the start and did not let go until the last page. I really enjoyed this book but honestly, Reagan got on my nerves a bit. I liked her as a whole, but her whiny, gullible attitude drove me bonkers. I wanted to talk some sense into this girl, because at times, she did not make the best decisions. Now Dean, I loved him, so he easily made up for Reagans lack of common sense. He was the perfect gentleman. This was written as a 3rd person, multi pov. I wish we would have seen a bit more of Deans pov and less of poor pitiful me Reagans.
Good story concept, can not wait for more in the series. I assume that since there is more to come, we will get to see Mercy and Kennedy with their own book(s). This was a good start to a new series.
Would I recommend this book? Yes
Would I read more from this author? Yes

A great small town hospital life romance. The characters are well developed, have great chemistry and a good friendship with trust. This is a book that’s a joy to read and highly recommended.

From the first page nurse Reagan’s boyfriend was a jerk and I didn’t understand why she would want to be with him and why she would blame herself for his cheating ways. She’s attracted to the new surgeon Dean and he to her, but she feels guilty because even though she breaks up with her boyfriend she’s still holding onto him. There was a lot of back and forth in this medical romance. She thinks Dean is done waiting for her and has moved on and Dean thinks she went back to her ex. I liked Dean from the beginning, but I wasn’t so sure about Reagan.
This hospital romance will jump start your heart. Reagan has caught her boyfriend in a compromising situation and runs to the bathroom crying. Too bad it’s the men’s and Dean is in there listening. He is moved by her crying and when he places a face with the woman he falls even more. Reagan doesn’t know what she is going to do as of yet about her relationship but Dean is an excellent listener. As these two get to know each other better through work and as friends, their bond strengthens. Dean is falling head over heals for this woman and quiet as she keeps it Reagan is falling for Dean as well. When her ex is brought into the hospital after being in an accident, will Reagan have a change of heart towards Matt? This nonstop story filled with drama will keep you sutured to the pages until the very end!
