He’s sinfully distracting, but the fun must wait.

PRAISE FOR THE CAPTAIN HOOK SERIES:
“What a great surprise this gem turned out to be…” Goodreads review
“A pirate’s view of Neverland – it is unique, shedding light on Peter Pan’s escapades. Rescues filled with feats of derring-do show the audacity of Captain Hook. She’s bold, determined, and has a softer heart than you might imagine for a pirate. Her crew is a fascinating mix of odd characters that you’ll love getting to know. The author has a lyrical way of weaving words together that brings each scene to living color. I love it!” Goodreads review

A skewed look at Hook and Neverland!
Or maybe it’s the other version of Peter Pan’s world that is askew. Read on, and decide for yourself!
If you’re looking for action packed adventure, a unique view of Neverland and its denizens, this is the place to be. The star of the show, Captain Hook, is not as you might expect; her companions and her lovers are prizes in their own right. The author’s stories never disappoint. Word pictures are formed, creating a clear visual of the scene. The battles are epic. The outcome, thrilling.
This can be enjoyed as a stand alone, but full pleasure comes with reading “Hook: Dead to Rights” first.
Hook as you never imagined. I jumped into the series here and was totally surprised in what I saw. Hook is female with siren abilities, a pixie companion and solving the problem in Neverland. In this book we have mermaids being kidnapped, a Lost Boy being terrorized by a fairie nightmare along with the normal issues captaining a ship and crew.

The mermaids are at risk and Captain Hook is out to save them, and clear her name as well. But that is not going to be easy.
This is book two in the series which provides a different take on the classic Peter Pan story. The story is written as a standalone, so you can jump in at any time.
The story is well written and easy to read taking the reader to a setting that is both familiar and not at the same time. I found the setting to be well detailed, expanding upon the original in new and interesting ways. The plot is fast paced and full of interesting twists and turns which kept my attention throughout. Overall, I found it to be highly enjoyable and look forward to reading more in the series.
Highly recommended.

Hook in this case is a young woman, determined to rescue the lost boys, keep that pesky faerie at bay from the boy suffering from it, and hmmm. The Sirens.
A very different setting for action, adventure and sometimes steamy sometimes twisted romances.
Good continuation of a series that take Peter Pan as it’s inspiration and puts its own special twists on the story.
This story had me hooked from the very beginning. Hook is a fascinating character who has many facets and hides most of them. This story is action packed and gives an unexpected view of Neverland and the characters we love (or hate). I love Buzz and I can’t wait to see what adventures lie ahead.
This is book two in the Captian Hook series and oh my goodness it blew me away.
We get so much action.
Hook has her hands full that is for sure.
Will she finally lose her head?
Well grab the book and find out.
I have to say I enjoyed book two a heck of a lot.
I enjoyed reading about how Hook is trying her best to help others even if they do not want nor understand what is happening . In this story we read about how caring she really is and how she will keep doing what she feels she needs to , to stop Pan ! Buzz cracks me up and I loved the way Hook and Buzz took care of Christopher !! I cannot say that I was glad she spared Phineas but do understand why . Now as to Rackham and the way John took care of her I honestly did not think that he would have stayed by her and helped her get better . For some reason I expected him to just hire and walk away well written ! I swear I could so put myself in her place over Revenge and the crew ! This one will pull all emotions from you ! So if you enjoy reading sequels then grab the first one Dead to Rights and then Dead Wrong and get ready to be blown away ! Well written and recommended . I want to thank the author for the gift of this book I enjoyed it !
