These U.S. Marines are always the first to fight when it comes to their country…or the women they love.Wounded former U.S. Marine Scott Green would rather be alone than face anyone’s pity. After losing his leg in a tragic attack on his last deployment, all Scott wants is to make it through each day.Until he meets Faith Thompson.Faith wasn’t looking for happily-ever-after, especially not with a … happily-ever-after, especially not with a surly Marine who turns her down after a kiss under the mistletoe. She definitely didn’t want to see him again when they’re forced to spend the holidays together a year later.
But Scott’s a changed man and there’s no way he’s letting her get away a second time.
Honor is sweet holiday novella in First to Fight Series by Nicole Blanchard.

I love second chance romances and this one hit all the feels. I fell for the characters and especially Scott. The connection and attraction between them was palpable.

A kiss under the mistletoe…………..will it lead to love or not?
Honor is the sixth book in the First to Fight series by Nicole Blanchard. This is the story Scott Green and Faith Thompson. Their story is well written with suspense, danger, action, twists, intrigue, family, friends, passion, romance and love. These two have an interesting journey to getting to their HEA that is a great read.
I received an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.
This is a great story. This shows some real struggles for our wounded military. The story has drama suspense and some twists and turns.

WE learnt about Scott Green in the second book in this series he was injured in the same fire fight that caused Ben’s injury but is was much more severe he lost his leg and has shrapnel scars all over his body. He has finally returned to the small town he grew up in and is invited to attend the Christmas Eve festivities of a retired marine as a token of their caring. Faith who is the daughter of the family is horrified to discover that Aunt Ethel has done her usual stunt and not brought a secret santa present only problem her name that she has to buy for is Scott thinking quickly she gives him a kiss under the mistletoe as his gift. Scott is still in a bad place over the loss of his leg and is a bit of a arsehole to Faith By the time Christmas rolls around again he is in a far better place and this time he has no intention of letting Faith walk away again but will she forgive him for his past behaviour
Faith and Scott are made for each other! Scott has issues with his self thinking Faith needs a WHOLE man. Faith believes Scott is a whole man but needs himself to believe. They enjoy each other and there is a whole lot of kissing. Honor is book 5 in this series and does not disappoint! Sweet and cute quickie! Perfect for this series!

Book five in the First to Fight series and it just gets better with each new book. This is wounded former U.S. Marine Scott Green and Faith Thompson and their second chance. A well written story that I was not putting down until I finished reading the book. I want to read the next one. Former Marine Scott, was in a tragic attack on his last deployment. Now scarred and minus a leg, he has a lot to get through mentally. He meets Faith at his father’s ex military friends house. A kiss under the mistletoe changes everything. But he doesn’t feel worthy of her and doesn’t want pity. So he leaves her for a yr to get his self together. Now he’s back can he make it up to her. A voluntary review.
Another great addition to this series. We first “met” Scott in Warrior. In Honor we get to officially meet him. I truly enjoyed this novella. Though Scott and Faith had a quick and uneasy meeting they connected and couldn’t stop thinking about each other. A year later they are brought back together and basically start where they left off. These two were perfect for each other. I love how they not only connected on a physical level but an emotional one as well. I’m glad to see they got their HEA. Now I look forward to meeting Ford!
