Brady Collins is juggling full-time fatherhood with the booming auto repair business he runs out of his barn. His ex-wife’s sudden death has shaken him, but the devastating news that follows leaves him reeling: Sam is not his biological son. When Sam’s wealthy maternal grandparents decide they want custody of the child, Brady knows he’s in for the fight of his life. Brady’s attorney tips him off … tips him off that one major life change would virtually assure him of winning guardianship of baby Sam at the final hearing: the stability of an impending marriage. And his friend Hope is willing to step in as the loving and devoted fiancée.
Local radio celebrity Hope Daniels has been driven by a solitary goal her entire life, and she’s finally been offered her dream job–in Atlanta. Unfortunately, her arrangement with Brady requires her presence in Copper Creek, and she is faced with missing the chance of a lifetime or standing in the way of a dear friend’s dreams.
Both Hope and Brady would give their lives for beautiful Sam. But can they give their trust to one another? With this new novel in the Blue Ridge Romance series, Honeysuckle Dreams shines light on the complicated and beautiful angles of love.

So, so good! What can I say about this book?! I was absolutely so surprised about how much I enjoyed the story! I adored the first book in the series, “Blueridge Sunrise”, but I think I liked Hope and Brady’s story even more!
Both these characters have suffered through considerable loss and this is their journey of finding love, discovering grace and forgiving their pasts along the way. I love how Denise Hunter weaves a story with so much purpose and paints the perfect picture of what it means to love someone unconditionally. Amazing!
I Absolutely LOVE & adore Ms. Hunter’s work! Honeysuckle Dreams is no exception and I assure you it will not disappoint, honestly, it’s actually moved into my top spot of favorites written by her :). Despite this being book #2 of The Blue Ridge Romance series all of her books are written to stand alone as well as be bundled within the series. Her work grabs you from the very beginning and you truly feel like you know the characters, and are a part of their loves. You will experience a rollercoaster of emotions (happiness, sadness, grief, love & most of all faith) but be left satisfied with the final outcome. If you haven’t read anything from Ms. Hunter please, please please do yourself and start today!
Honey suckle dreams is a story of complexities. You have so many feelings you go through. You feel the feelings of the characters just like the characters do, because that is how the author wants it And that is how good she is. This is a story that the characters go through being scared and being brave, being weak and being strong, Finding their 2nd chance and finding their romance again through a bunch of turmoil. There is a bunch of love in this story – 1 for a child one for their past mates 1 for their present mates for it gives them a second chance at it, and thank goodness for it. I received a copy of this book from the Publisher and Netgalley; all the opinions expressed in the review are all my own.

I love when a book engages me and I can’t put the book down. This book just didn’t do that for me. I didn’t feel connected to the characters and the idea seemed a little far fetched for me. I felt like Hope became an entirely different person near the end of the book. I wanted to see how it would end up and I finished it, but it was not my favorite Denise Hunter book.
Thank you Netgalley for my advanced copy.
