His mousy temptress is pure, innocent, and untouched. But not for long… and challenging enough to be his bride. He is confident that he can conquer anything—and Violet’s heart is next.
Violet Havisham finds everything about the brash, nearly uncivilized prince unsettling. She’s recently left the monastery and craves a quiet life. Falling for a devil of man like Prince Markellan would be a royal mistake. He’s too big, too brutish, and too darkly sensual for her. He says he wants to give her the one thing she left the cloister for—a baby. But surely she’d be better off adopting than taking her chances with a reckless, dangerous beast.
In his culture, the honeymoon comes before the wedding, and the bridegroom must convince the bride to marry him based on his honeymoon “performance.” So Prince Markellan makes her a deal—give him one week to satisfy her every need, and if she can walk away, he’ll let her go.
Author confession: If she can walk at all after a week in his palace, it will be a miracle. If you know what I mean. Did I mention that Prince Markellan’s country is a fertility culture that worships women and all things carnal? The men there spend years learning the arts of pleasing and caring for their women. And you know he’s not going to let her go with his royal baby in her belly. If you’re looking for a BBW heroine, a royal hero, beastly alpha dirty talk, and opposites attract in an instalove minute, you’re in the right place. It wouldn’t be a Brill Harper book if it wasn’t as sweet as it is filthy.

A deliciously sexy take on the Cinderella fairy tale!
Markellan remembers Violet from a chance meeting when they were children, and seeing the evidence of the impact that meeting had on Violet lights a fire in him that all but demands he claim her as his bride. Violet is beyond shy, insecure almost to a fault, and naive enough to not quite understand what exactly Markellan wants when he suggests whisking her off to his castle and teaching her the ways of his people.
Violet has a lot to adapt to if she chooses to stay and be his princess, but for Markellan, it was love at first sight and he’s fully invested in his future with Violet. Their tradition allows for a week of the prospective groom having full, intimate access to the bride in order to convince her of his suitability for marriage. This launches our young couple on a one-room adventure that will leave your Kindle smoking and your heart racing.
Not as much emotional development as I would have liked to see, but it was a wonderful romp through idealized gender roles on the way to a satisfying HEA. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
Another short and steamy novella by Brill Harper! More often than not, I have a bit of an issue with the virgin storyline’s that Ms. Harper writes. I know that all experienced people have to have a first time, but in her stories, the virgins always have a blast during their first time, with not even a moment of discomfort. The same thing happened in this novella. BUT, this time it worked for me because of the setting! This being set in a completely fictional country in which the men are literally schooled in the ways of lovemaking and basically live to please their woman (I mean, come on, the honeymoon comes BEFORE the wedding just to make sure that he can please her!), I was totally okay with her having an amazing time loosing her V-card! This little story is literally a fantasy, and I think it’s all women’s fantasy to get that O on the first time!
I read this is in probably an hour. I wanted something hot and quick and that’s what I got! It is VERY hot, with the dirty talking alpha, but it also has the romance and love story that I love. If Ms. Harper keeps writing love stories like this, I will keep reading them!
Unbelievable but so appealing…4.5 stars!
What a read! It’s brazen, so fantastic, but oh, so entertaining and appealing to this reader. Brill Harper has such a talent for words I would read a grocery list if she mixed it up with sexy wit and a smidgeon of filthy dirty.
Really, what an imagination, I couldn’t stop reading. I was thrown on the train and kidnapped to a land far, far away with very little complaint since I was hypnotized by all the words. I love the author’s confession prefacing the story, I thought it funny and hooked me more with all the teasing.
Honeymoon With The Prince is definitely a sexy, short read. I love the idea every woman deserves a honeymoon before the wedding to ensure she is happy with the goods. *smile*
This is a fast read. It was full of hot steamy sex. For me it was fun but nothing real meaning full. It was a fairy tale with a little twist. Brill Harper did a good job of giving back story in a few pages. I felt I got all I needed from it. This you can read in one sitting. I read on Kindle Unlimited.
