I enjoyed the characters. Very realistic. Subject matter very catching. Not overly wordy describing their stay in Italy. Felt like I was there with them.
After reading this book, I immediately started looking for a tour of Italy and this region. Great read!
Enjoyed the journey as the kids discover the true depth of their parents’ love.
The story was choppy and has the potential to be much better than it was.
One of the best I’ve read in a long time. Very interesting look into a family’s life and changes.
Three sisters try to follow the steps of their deceased parent’s honeymoon journey. They meet their parents in totally new ways and find themselves in new ways, and in Italy.
Loved it.
interesting concept, easy to read. Much different than I expected
This book was a lovely trip through Italy with romance and fun mixed in.
Wonderful introduction to the sisters. Great beginning of a love story. Great idea to retrace parents’ honeymoon. Fabulous descriptions of Italy. I highly recommend this book to anyone looking for an engrossing tale.
Light read showcasing Italian cities.
A thoroughly unexpected tale of relationships, but not those you are prepared for. Light, but very entertaining, and still one of those that you can’t put down. And, oh-by-the-way, makes me wish for a vacation, …… no, …… a romp through Italy.
I loved the premise of this book and enjoyed the slight mystery of following the parent’s footsteps. I enjoyed this book enough that I ordered the next in series.
Light read, but thought provoking as the sisters are dealing with their own insecurities as well. Enjoyed the storyline.
Unusual story. Title would lead one to believe the honeymooners are a newly married couple but, turns out three daughters of parents who are deceased are reliving the places their parents visited on their honeymoon. Lots of family interaction, surprises and discoveries. Entertaining and easy to read.
Really enjoyed this book! Brought back memories of my own trip to Italy. Believable characters. I want to continue reading the series.
Nice lighthearted book. Solid plot with a few twists. Good beach read.
An easy read with a fairly unrealistic scenarios but fun. Nice premise.
Wanted more of an ending, but I know there is more to come.
a travel guide to some of the beautiful places in Italy
Six years after losing their beloved parents in a boating accident the three D’Angelo sisters travel from their northern California homes to Italy. Armed with the scrapbook their parents made of their honeymoon 30 years before, the sisters planned to recreate their route. Aldo, the paternal grandfather, encourages and pays for this trip attempting to bring his three very different granddaughters together again. Jill just hopes they can get through the week without any major disagreements. They had no idea of the secrets about their parents that would unfold from three mysterious numbers found on the back of the scrapbook. Enjoy this journey with them as they learn about each other and themselves as well. There are currently four books in this series.
