Looking for a light and breezy, feel-good beach read? You’ve found it in Pajaro Bay.
Camilla Stewart desperately needs to make a fresh start: her despicable ex-fiance stole her life savings, embezzled from her job, and then disappeared without a trace — leaving behind nothing but his eight-year-old son, Oliver.
But when she arrives in the little beach town of Pajaro Bay, she immediately runs … immediately runs into local sheriff’s captain Ryan Knight, and finds escaping her past won’t be as easy as she planned.
Because Ryan soon realizes that Camilla and little Oliver may be the only people alive who can identify a serial killer… and they are next on his hit list.
In this first entry in the Pajaro Bay series, readers are welcomed to the charming little village, with its cast of quirky characters and its funky cottages overlooking the sun-drenched coast.

Good Summer read.
I really got into this book. I was interested in the subject matter. I loved the way the characters slowly realized they loved one another. The ending really came as a surprise to me. Would highly recommend this book.
It was fun to read when I was bored and the ending was surprisingly!
Very enjoyable read. Descriptive scenery. Just enough twist to make it interesting.
Romantic with added suspense. Liked the idea of the story standing on its own with no long drawn out sex scenes.
Great
Very enjoyable
A cute mystery romance.
Camilla is on the run along with her son Oliver. In the cute little place that she comes, she meets Ryan. The problem for Camilla comes in the form of Dennis, her ex. How Ryan and Camilla work together to solve the puzzle is the story.
The romance was cute and the characters were very well etched. Enjoyed the cosy mystery
Thoroughly enjoyed this book
Camilla is in dire straits when she meets Ryan. Insecurities nearly drive her nuts as she tries to wrap her mind around Ryan’s over-protective nature.
Ryan’s own insecurities nearly drive them apart as they each grow during the course of the story.
The story covers so much! Bits and pieces of both of their pasts are naturally sprinkled …
I enjoyed this book from beginning to end. It surprised me. The characters were well developed by the end of the story as they kept evolving. 5stars mean definitely rereadable.
I enjoyed reading this book and did not want to put it down. Started reading last night and finished at noon today.
Enjoyable! Scary in a very realistic way. I love the twist at the end. Didn’t see that one coming.

This a light hearted mystery for people that love a bit of mystery with their romance.
It is well written, the characters are fully developed, solid plot and some scares to keep you cuddled in a blanket as you enjoy the conversations.
The tiny town has some memorable people, some specially designed homes full of whimsy and heart, beautiful views …
