This isn’t a long hard, life-changing read, after all we read cozies to get away from real life and be entertained. And this novel did just that. We go to a New England restaurant outside of Boston for a great valentines day dinner but of course, the weekend for these two love birds is ruined when a food critic is killed in the Restaurant Marco works at. To find out who did it Paige pleads for the ghost to really think about who could have done this to him and when that doesn’t work she must summon some of the old town’s magic. Grasshopper antenna is hard to find when you have a centuries-old recipe to fulfill. There are a few “who could it be possibilities” so the ending isn’t overly obvious, which can be hard to do in a short novel. The heart and homicide from the title is obvious, but only if you read it will you know where the “honey” comes from. enjoy!
Honey, Hearts, and Homicide in my opinion the most exciting and intriguing book from the series. Paige goes to Boston to visit Marco and along comes a mystery. Although I did miss some of the characters that have been in the other books, this book made sure that they were at least mentioned.

Paige can’t even go visit Marco without a person being murdered near her. Totally bad luck for their Valentine plans. This is such a good story. Paige and Marco are adorable and the bad guys in the story are really bad people. So many could have been the murderer. It was a fast paced read with a happy ending for all. Well, almost all. There was a murder and a murderer after all!

Paige surprises her boyfriend Marco with a visit. Everything is going better than expected until a guest at the restaurant that Marco works at. Things turn even worse when Paige is a suspect due to the fact that her steak knife was missing from her table and the guest was stabbed with a steak knife. Don’t forget the paranormal things that happen along in this book. I found it very interesting and fun to read. I would like to thank Booksprout for the book that I voluntarily reviewed.
Another Murder Mystery for Paige
Magically inclined, intrepid Paige has decided to surprise Marco in Boston before Valentine’s Day. Though she is far from home, she manages to fall right into a murder at Marco’s restaurant (as she often seems to do!). So much for the simple, romantic getaway! And she can’t even head back home as she must stay in Boston during the investigation as she was in the restaurant on the night of the murder. Will she or somebody she cares about become a suspect?
As always with this series, I found this to be a fun cozy mystery with a hint of the paranormal. I found the first scene in the restaurant fun because Paige is now a bit blasé about getting wrapped up with murders and dead bodies. Even though she is just an amateur sleuth, she notices details about the scene before the police even arrive. It’s nice to see Paige and Marco together again, even under these circumstances. If you enjoy paranormal cozy mysteries that are closer to reality than most, you may very well enjoy this book and this series.
I received a free copy of this book, but that did not affect my review.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. Wow this book was just so good and so easy to get lost in. I thoroughly enjoyed myself and I just didn’t want it to end. I just couldn’t get enough of these wonderful characters and I just loved getting to see their journey. I will most definitely be reading more stories from this wonderful author.
This is such a great series that I am always looking forward to the next book. Each book can be read as a stand alone with it’s own completed mystery ending., however the over story is progressive. I highly recommend reading each book in order because 1, it’s a great series and I recommend the whole thing, and 2, you will get the full back story and will understand the progression in the story.
Awesome characters, fantastic story line, comical and easy to visualize detailed descriptions, and engaging dialogue.
Written as a 3rd person, single pov with a completed mystery ending.

Paige travels to Boston to visit Marco for Valentines Day. At the restaurant where Marco is training, a reviewer is murdered and complicated motivations become evident. Honey, Hearts, and Homicide is an entertaining mystery that I enjoyed. I will be reading every novel in this series.

This is the sixth book in the series, but like all the others it could be read as a standalone story, despite the lack of some information.
In this story Paige, a witch in a world of mostly normal people is visiting her boyfriend, Marco, who is an aspiring cook with a famous recipe for meatballs.
Just a few minutes after she has entered the restaurant Marco is working at, a murdered man is found and she becomes involved in the case, when the ghost of the murdered man speaks to her.The story is entertaining and well-written, with some suspense and a mix-up of characters, a few surprises on the way…
A nice balance to keep the reader on their toes.

It’s not all hearts and roses for Paige when she decides to surprise Marco for Valentine’s Day. She could end up with silver bracelets of the criminal kind if she can’t figure out who killed the food critic and set her up.
I am loving this series and found this story enjoyable, with humour, ghosts, magic, mayhem, and the mob.
I read and reviewed this book with no obligation.
The plot and storyline were very well done.
Such a wonderful story. The author makes you feel like you are part of the story by making the characters seem so real. I cannot wait for the next book by This author. She keeps you guessing on who the culprit is.

Paige goes to Boston to spend Valentine’s Day with her fiance Marco. A food reviewer is at the restaurant when she arrives and he is murdered in the men’s room, with the knife from Paige’s table. Lots of twists and turns as Paige and Marco set out to find the killer. It could be any of several people and it takes Paige’s magical abilities and the help of Casper to capture the killer. Great story, can’t wait for the next book.

I love this series and hate to see it come to an end. I really enjoyed the story. It flowed nicely. Hopefully we’ll get to catch up with all the characters down the road.
Paige is visiting Marco in Boston, expecting some sightseeing and hanging out, but fate has other plans for her and she gets involved in a murder instead. I enjoyed this book as much as the other five. Paige is smart and doesn’t let much get in her way. Marco has absolute faith in her and helps her without complaint. The story is a bit twisty and kept my interest the whole way through. The dialog and pacing flowed well also. Altogether a fun read.
