She thinks she can beat me and kill my company.
Wanna bet?
Well…that’s exactly what we did.
Now we’re locked in a test.
90 days of living with each other.
Whoever convinces the other we’re right wins.
If I lose, there goes my company.
But if I win, there goes her movement.
Sound easy?
Not so fast.
See, there’s more to her than I realized.
She’s sassy. Fiery. Fun.
Her eyes sparkle. She drives me crazy.
The only way out for either of us is if the other admits they were wrong.
The chances of that happening?
None.
So it’s time to gear up for battle.

This is my first book by this author and I have to say, I’m going to have to read all of her books. This one was great. Funny. Witty. Love the banter between Carter and Becca, AND Natalie and Tristan on their radio show. This book has got secrets, surprises, intrigue, and some of it is soooo funny. It is absolutely hysterical, going from laughing your head off one minute to having to cool off from their sexual escapades. Holy hotness. I love the characters. Great story. Sincere drama. Wonderfully written. Jaw dropping love making. A joy to read.
OMG, I loved this book. Carter and Becca were amazing/ Tristan and Natalie were awesome. Loved the drama and back and forth banter So much drama, suspense, laughs, mystery. There were several LOL moments. Plenty of steam to singe the pages. I totally recommend this book.
Book 4 Hits all the Marks!
Honey Do Me, By author Tara Starr, is Book four in the Nights In New York: A Romantic Comedy Series (all books in this series are standalones) is another fabulously written story full of amazing characters and visually expressive scenes.
Even though all the books are standalone, I find it comforting that there is a thread that runs thru all the books – the Clarendon Tower condominiums, NYC, where all the characters live and play. Those of you who have read all books so far – show of hands: who wants to live there? Me!
This storylines’ protagonists were Becca, the activist and Carter, the CEO. They felt that hate but hot magic immediately especially Carter who couldn’t stop pleasuring himself because of her. They challenge each other emotionally and intellectually…which I like. But, she has a secret that if revealed could destroy everything she stands for and her relationship with Carter.
The underlying theme in this storyline is that people aren’t always who they appear on the surface and that to rush to judgement not only does them a disservice but more importantly prevents growth of the person making that assumption.
Now the downside. I really think Tristan and Natalie need their own story and not hang around between chapters. They just interrupt the flow of the story, which to me, is very important. And, is not fair to our cute Gossip Gurus. I say let them fly free on their own pages.
Definitely recommending this book for your reading pleasure and enjoyment
and I am leaving this review for your consideration. Peace and Love.
Becca is a modern day Robin Hoods but instead of stealing she chooses to protest against billionaires and her latest target is the CEO of Kane & Co Carter.
Carter is tired of the sexy yet infuriating protestor so they strike a deal. They will try each others life on for size and if Becca wins Carter sells everything and if Carter wins the world will be short one protestor. Let the games begin!
Humor and heat combine together into an intriguing storyline.
Carter is a billionaire and has his own company and is making money. Becca is an activist that hates billionaires and thinks they should spread the wealth. Her actions are causing him problems at work. They have it out and come up with a bet where they have a limited time to convince the other they are right and must concede. If he wins he keeps his company and she gives up being an activist. She wins she’s an activist and gets the company. They stay together and they try every dirty trick to win! What happens when they find themselves falling for the other?
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Fast paced, fun read about two people who are sure they are absolutely right and with serious chemistry. He’s the billionaire with the hots for her and she’s the activist that believes in spreading the wealth. Game on. Great character development. I realized later that this was the 4th book in the series but I felt it stood alone. (I voluntarily reviewed an ARC).
Fantastic!! It was exactly what I have come to expect from a Tara Starr book. I constantly talked to my kindle, laughed so hard, and was turned on. The story starts off with the customary gut busting laugh out loud moment; be careful when you through your trash out of the window Carter is one hot -n-spicy billionaire but he’s also sweet as cotton candy. He is absolutely adorable with Becca as well as being a little devilish. I love him but Becca not so much. She was a Hippocrite and a liar but I guess she redeemed herself some what in the end. I just think Carter deserved better than what she emotionally gave him throughout the book. Everything she did was to cover up her lie. As always Tara gives us glimpses of previous characters. I have read all of the books in this series and each one is laugh out loud and steamy hot. If you haven’t read them do yourself a favor and do so. Tara, I’m impatiently waiting on Taylor and Ashley’s story please please please. Until next time folks happy reading!!!
