Twelve years ago, Wolff Mannheim was afraid. Afraid to admit he was gay but also in love. He broke up with his boyfriend, Gage Norton, in the most heinous of ways. When Wolff accepts his dream job, he finds out his ex not only works there but is also his superior. Memories of the last time he saw him come rushing back and bring a deep level of shame. Now, older, wiser, and definitely out and … proud, Wolff reaches out, through social media, to explain to Gage. All he gets is a resounding “no.” Gage can’t believe his ears. He is filled with happiness as he’s finally made partner. His joy is quashed, though, when he finds out the name of the person to fill his vacated position: Wolff Mannheim The moment Gage accepts his friend request, he regrets it. He decides the best way to deal with his nemesis is to ignore him, to have nothing to do with him outside of work. So why does he want to seek Wolff out, to hear what he has to say, and to tell him about his own past? When did his hate turn into caring about him? And maybe more. Wolff recognises he’s still in love with Gage, but how does Gage feel about him? There’s no way Gage could still have feelings for him. Not after what he did.
Home to You is the first book in the Redemption Series and is not a stand-alone novel. The story continues in book 2, Family Ties. The Redemption series takes place in England, and is written in British english. This is a gay romance and book one of a short story series.
Previously published as Wolff, there haven’t been any changes to the story.

Home to You (Redemption book 1) MCs Gage and Wolff were once “secret” boyfriends in college. Wolff humiliates Gage in horrible way just prove he wasn’t gay. Fast Forward 12 years a FB friend request and Wolff starting a new job that would be under Gage’s supervision. That’s enough of the back story. If I am ranking the novels in the series this would this would be my 2nd favourite. I just could not connect with the humiliation, it seemed rather excessive to prove Wolff was not gay. I also felt the relations was rushed and awkward.
I have to admit I already loved JJ and her books before this series, but this tops again everything.
Home to you is the book about Wolff and Gage, two guys who have a history together which endet more than bad for one of them. Twelve years later they meet again and Gage gets to be the boss of Wolff.
Reed this book about second chances, enemies to lovers and all kind of emotions you can think off.
JJ has the gift to write her stories that you fell yourself in-between the story. The emotions are described so great, I can feel everything.
Additional she writes so great that also a non native English speaker like I am can follow everything
I read a newer version of this book that has been re-released! I love J.J. Harper her books are always so emotional and I was not disappointed in this book. Forgiveness and Redemption are at the heart of this interesting story. I read an advanced copy of this book and this is my unbiased review!
Now that was an interesting take on a second chance! The best reaction I can have after reading a shorter story like this one is wishing it was longer. I sure think this one has so much to unpack emotionally it would make a brilliant novel.
As it is though, Gage and Wolff are a really unique and interesting couple. The book is really emotional and pretty high on angst, but despite the necessary shortcuts, still wholesome and really good!
I am really impressed with the story idea and the characters JJ Harper created.
JJ Harper has written a book that will grab your heart and hold on tight. Prepare to fall in love.
What a twisted story…two men who twelve years earlier were in a relationship…until fear drove one to ‘out’ the other in a most humiliating way. Now they find themselves working together and discover the attraction, desire and love hasn’t died. But can they look past the guilt, shame and pain in order to move forward?
A cliff hanger with hope for a HEA just out of reach.
Wolff and Gage took me on an emotional journey of pain, healing, redemption, and true love. Wolff hurt Gage when they were young but he is no longer that scared young man. Gage was hurt by Wolff but life has shown him that he much more than just the victim he thought he was. Life throws the MCs together and the love that was hidden deep in their souls surfaces and heals their broken souls. I think Gage forgave Wolff a little too fast considering the incident was a major trauma to his life. But Wolff was honest with his feelings and felt true remorse. Wolff and Gage show that true love does not die, that it will stay alive and bloom again when it is allowed. And the chemistry was super hot. The friends are also very interesting and contribute to the story, not just fillers. Definitely a great series to read.
I am a big fan of second chance romance stories and this one did not disappoint! Wolff broke Gage’s heart 12 years ago. He was young and confused. When life brings them back together they get a second chance. I loved this story so much! It’s a great way to start the series!
Gage and Wolff have a painful history. When they start working together they finally hash out their pasts.
I wasn’t able to dislike Wolff even though what he did to Gage was despicable. Gage was a sweetheart, easily likable. Both characters were sassy and funny. Their best friends were at times sweet and pains in the butt.
Sweet story with some angst, just enough to keep the book from being to sappy. Ends abruptly, good thing I have the second book queued up.
This is my first book from Miss JJ and I could not be more pleased with the outcome.
Although there were a few times I wanted to throw my Kindle into the wall and I wanted to hate Wolff, I couldn’t!
What Wolff did was so mean, but he was young and stupid, and that’s why I could forgive him for it.
JJ know what it takes to pull you into the story and before you know it, it’s over.
Now I have to wait impatiently for the next one in the series!
Wolff, the first book in the Redemption series by the amazing JJ Harper!
I don’t know how she does it, but yet again she has written a lovely and hot AF story!
When I got to know wth happened twelve years ago, I did not see how this story would end happily… But, Gage showed he was beyond mature and wow, just wow!
And Wolff, *fanningmyself*
This is a really good book. I really enjoyed it even though it did feel a bit rushed. I love that we have dual POVs. The novel is a bit short and could have used a bit more depth. Wolff and Gage are both wonderful charactes and i really liked Banner too.The verdict is still out on Theo, Wolff’s bestie.Overall I really enjoyed it and I’m looking forward to the next book!!
