Such an enjoyable story. The story flowed seamlessly making for such an easy read. Zoey is just a normal girl down on her luck who meets Ryan when he stands up for her

Another well written book to the series. It’s a sweet story with strong characters in Ryan and Zoey. When she randomly helps him with his taxes and quickly leaves he finds out she is late to get in the shelter and sets out to help her. It’s a touching , feel good story with a sweet romance. The story flows fluidly and had me hooked from start to finish. I loved and highly recommend this book.

Home game by Odetta Stone.
This was a fantastic read with great characters. Loved how Ryan yelled at the guy who Wouldn’t let Zoey in his building. Hos face. I really felt for Zoey when he Wouldn’t let her in. I really didn’t like Bianca. How she treated Zoey I wanted to punch her. I didn’t like Terence either. Loved the ending. Looking forward to the next book. 5*.
This is the second book in the series and I enjoyed it just as much if not more than the first one. I just loved this book it was such a sweet read and I really liked both Ryan and Zoey and enjoyed getting to know them. You cannot help but like and root for these two a super read I really liked it
I have loved every single novel Odette has released, so it’s no surprise that I love this one too. Her style and book writing is so polished, the plot is fun, flirty yet different. Home Game is the type of book you cannot put down – I read the entire book in one sitting because I couldn’t even comprehend the idea of putting it down. I thoroughly enjoyed watching both the characters, Ryan and Zoey develop – especially Zoey, coming out of her shell, and growing into an independent, strong woman that was completely different to the independent, strong woman we saw in the beginning few chapters of the book. I’ve already read the book twice through again, so I can safely say that I have loved this book so very much. I cannot wait for the next book Odette has in store!
Ryan is relatively new to Vancouver. He meets Zoey n a coffee shop where she helps him input his tax receipts. She winds up missing the bus so he takes her where she needs to go. He finds out it’s a shelter and she missed curfew. He offers for her to stay with him. This is just the beginning of their story……

I do not have the words to describe just how amazing this book is. It was an exceptional read. This one is going into my library for sure. I voluntarily read and reviewed this book in exchange for a free copy.
Ryan got traded to Vancouver Wolves but his team mates aren’t accepting him. When he was on another team he unintentionally caused an injury of one of the Wolves players. Zoey is homeless and doesn’t trust anyone. No one has ever done anything for her without a price. Can they help each other and can Zoey learn to trust Ryan? I really loved this story. Ryan and Zoey draw you in.
Ryan and Zoey gave me all the feels. Home Game is honestly just a sweet hockey hero romance with a smidge of angst. Zoey is homeless and struggling. Ryan is a huge hockey start that’s new in town, and is also struggling.. in his own way. They need each other but don’t know it yet.
So essentially this story is girl helps boy. Boy saves girl. They unexpectedly click and fit. Banter, banter, banter. Swoon, swoon, swoon. Roommates. “Just friends.” Slow burn romance ensues. Sigh. I can’t with these two. Such a great read, with such a great cast of characters!
Honestly if you enjoy sports hero romance, then you will love this read. It fits into the classic mold, but also has the unique voice of Odette Stone, which takes Home Game to the next level. Loving this authors work so far and can’t wait to see what she gives us next!
OMG! Loved it!! Cannot wait for the next one! Interesting and different (in a great way!) story premise. Lots of chemistry and sparks between the characters. Some great suspense thrown in. Loved Zoey, Ryan and all the surrounding personalities in the book. Looking forward to more from this series.
Home Game: A Vancouver Wolves Hockey Romance, Book 2 by author Odette Stone. I didn’t think anything could top book one. Well was I wrong. The characters Zoey and Ryan were a match made in heaven. Zoey carried this storyline. Her innocence, spunk, directness of dialogue was so fresh that I too wanted to protect her from people like Bianca.
The storyline did revolve around the players and what happens when a new guy comes in with such a different reaction from his teammates. One mate, Mica steps forward and extends the hand of friendship to Ryan. Mica is not your usual meathead type player. He is more sensitive and takes on a big brother role with Zoey. It’s good getting a lot of info on Mica as the next book in this series features him.
Highly recommending this book and the series for fun and enjoyment and, I am leaving this review for your consideration.
