Heath left Brooke years ago, severing their teenage romance without a backward glance. Now he’s back for the holidays and thinks he can pick up where they left off.Not if she can help it.He broke her heart once. She can’t let his cocky smirk weaken her defenses again. That is, until he tempts her with a Christmas gift she has no ability to deny.
Nice Romance.
A very smooth flowing short story that made this reader want to “hear” the whole story about the main male and female characters and just what they both did during their many years apart. Nice romance.
I really enjoyed this book, and actually read it all in one go, it made me smile, a little annoyed (at her bothers) the only disappointment was it was too short, i want more 🙂 x
A great lunch time read coming up to the Christmas season. A second chance romance about Brooke having had a crush and a little secret private time with her brother’s best friend Heath before he just up left.
Brooke was heartbroken, and now he returns to his family farm without contacting Brooke.
Health is back and visiting her brothers for their once routine Friday catchup drinks. Does he think that he can simply return and pick up where they were a hidden secret from her overprotective brothers. I think not, Brooke won’t allow herself to become a hidden secret.
A quick sweet read. A great page turner as the sparks and chemistry fly. I loved the characters and connection. It’s entertaining story.
So far, I adore Eden Summers’ writing style. This book was fun, easy to read, easy to follow and the characters were fantastic. I can’t wait to read more by Miss Summers!
This is such a cute, hot & soooooo adorable short story !!! I loved every page of it.
its a story about how a true love never ends, even when lovers drew apart by life, school and expectations.
Brooke is just my kind of gal, and Heath …. well, lets just say, he will charm the pants off of you.
this is a short read but you will love every second of it. I love everything Eden writes and I want more !!!! so woman, get busy !
If you’re looking for a little holiday steam, this is a nice quick read. I didn’t love this story, but I didn’t hate it either. It leaves way too much to the imagination. I want more from Heath and Brook. As is, Heath annoyed me with his reasons for leaving. Brooke’s brothers need to be put in their place and Brooke herself needs to find her backbone and her voice. If the author decides to make this into a full length novel the potential is there for an epic story of loss, redemption, and forgiveness. There isn’t quite a HEA, but the potential is there, hopefully with a lot of groveling.
This is a very quick read. A holiday story about a girl who had a relationship with her brothers’ best friend who then left her behind, without (she thought) a backward glance. Now he is back next door and all is not as it appeared—and the bitterness she cloaked herself in can’t protect her as he is coming for her, full steam ahead.
A hot short for Brooke and Heath. Heath didn’t get my ok at the beginning. But throughout the book he won my heart and obviously not only mine. Secret lovers, brothers’ best friend and a hot romance that warmed my Christmas spirit
Home For The Holidays, is well written. However, I feel it’s just too short to do the story justice. Some of the secrets Heath revealed in the end just made it a story not for me.
I enjoyed this sexy story! It’s a second chance romance, quick read and super hot. I love the characters!! Heath and Brooke were sweethearts until he up and left. She was devastated and heartbroken. Now he is back and wants a second chance. Nicely developed story with a few twists and turns!!
If you’re looking for an easy to follow, hot, steamy, sexy, smooth flowing read that captures your attention from the start. Congratulations my friends you’ve found it. The characters and scenes are realistic and believable. Twists and turns and unpredictable surprises that kept my eyes on the pages and on the edge of my seat. I followed the characters fascinated as their personalities transformed and blended. Vivid detailed descriptions were so life like and on point. The storyline was solided and well defined. Cold showers may be in order when your finished. Eden Summers did a remarkable job bringing this story together beautifully.
Cute, quick read! The only flaw with this book is that it was way too short! I want to know more!!!
Loved this quick cute read!! Left me wanting more!!! Sooo good!
Brothers best friends 2nd Chance Romance In 10,000 words or less!
Definitely worth the read!Eden Summers
A short read!
He tempts her with a Christmas gift she has no ability to deny…
Quick but a great read for the holiday season. Well written short but lovely holiday read.
Full of second chances, truth, attraction, family, forgiveness and love.
Perfect for readers of contemporary romances.
Home for the Holidays is a short Christmas story. Heath and Brooke were so great! I loved their chemistry and story, but I wish it was longer and that we got to see where it all went. My fingers are crossed that we eventually get this whole story. I received this book in exchange for an honest review
A quick super sexy story! From the first pages the sparks are flying. Health and Brooke were teenage sweethearts. He was her firsts, then he left. Now he’s back and oh how these two know how to push each other buttons. Home for the Holidays is a second chance story with all the chemistry to light the Christmas tree.
I really loved this Christmas short. Brook was secretly elated when her childhood sweetheart returned to town although she’d never tell him that! Heath left her behind and never looked back…or did he? Brook struggles with her emotions and the urge to kick someone. Is Heath the man for her or is he just passing through town to revisit a past conquest? This novella has everything heat, heart and humour. Highly recommended.
Brooke never expected the boy who broke her heart to crash back into her life unexpectedly. This sweet holiday novella sparks to life Brooke and Heath’s second chance at love.
This quick book was well worth the read as I turned the pages of this well written story with characters that were so well developed that I felt like Brooke and Heath jumped from the pages and pulled me right into their story as it unfolded!
