“A tender, beautifully told story of emotional growth, forgiveness [and] the possibility of miracles.”—Publishers Weekly (starred review) Madelaine Hillyard is a brilliant cardiologist at the top of her game. A loving but overworked single mom, she is constantly at odds with her confused and angry daughter, Lina, a teenage rebel desperate to find the father she has never known. He is Angel … known. He is Angel DeMarco, now a cynical, world-famous movie star, living a shallow, glittering life. When tragedy brings them all together, and Angel’s damaged heart needs healing, Madelaine must face the betrayals of the past and find the courage to love again.

Everything you know a Kristen Hannah book would have and more. The ending brought me to tears…..amazing story.
Really enjoyed every page of this book!
I loved this story. Couldn’t put it down.
I thought the character development and story line meshed well and was an inspirational story
Beautifully written! Told from the perspective of several characters allowed the reader to get to know each character. I cried at moments and smiled through others. Highly recommend!
Not quite as wonderful as her other books.
It was OK, not one of her better books.
It dragged the story line out
Sorry…couldn’t get Into the characters…
Sadly predictable.
I enjoy K Hannah’s books & this one didn’t disappoint. Realistic, tear jerker but such great characters through out!
This author never disappoints.
I’m always amazed at how Kristin Hannah can bring a story to life. Home again was so real! The story made me laugh out loud, smile often and cry. It’s a book that’s hard to put down! The characters are so real and you hurt for childhoods lost. It’s a book you can read again.
Love all of Kristen Hannah’s writings
What a beautiful story. I cried and I am no crier… quite an original plot and tale of growing up for everyone. Don’t miss this one.
Beautifully written but so hauntingly sado and yet true to life.
My emotions were all over the place. I hated to have it end. The characters were so well developed. It made you feel as if you knew them.
Good book intresting story
I think Kristin Hannah is one of my favorite writers. Her books are always different, emotional and display life situations.
