For as long as I can remember, I’ve only had one goal: survival. It’s what I know. There is no future beyond making it through another night and getting my hands on as much money as possible, by any means necessary. Pride and dignity are things I can’t afford. It’s been the worst year yet—and not because I live on the streets. That’s nothing compared to being separated from my little girl. But I … girl. But I do what I can, and I send any money I make for her care. I can only hope she remembers me. I’m past desperate, needing her to know how much I love her and that I’ve done everything in my power to make it back to her.
The day I stepped off the bus in Seattle, I saw him. Adrian appeared at a time I most needed a helping hand, and his habit of rescuing strays became my salvation. He gave me hope. He taught me to dream about something I’d never dared to wish for.
A home.

Cara Dee’s “Camissa Cove” universe is full of so many wonderful stories–including one of my forever favorites, “If We Could Go Back”. This book “Home” is a wonderful introduction to a series that I hope continues forever.
MM Romance.
Male prostitute meets Sexy AF Teacher.
That’s all you really need to know to want to read this book.
I loved every bit of this story, I could’ve used another hundred pages. Greedy, I am. The characters pop, are relatable, and realistic. The story plucks you outta your comfort zone and makes you sit up and listen. I’m always a sucker for out-of-the-box romances and this one hit the bullseye. Add in Thea and my heart was completely full. Another unconventional hit from Cara Dee, I don’t what book to read next.
This was a sweetish story.
I loved how it gives hope that there are still good people out there.
A SWEET ESCAPE
This book was:
Heartbreaking
Emotional
Hopeful
And
Romantic!
It’s about new beginnings and trust and family. Highly recommend it! 4.5 Stars!
Home is a fantastic read that will have you falling in love with these two characters, Dominic and Adrian.
Dom is homeless and trying to earn enough (by selling himself) so he can finally get a home for him and his little girl, who lives with his Aunt as a favour for him so long as he pays for all Thea needs.
Adrian is a teacher who helps run the local youth centre after school but all his tattoos are quite the contradiction the gentleman he is, it just adds to his appeal.
I was totally sucked into this story of a Homeless man and all he was willing to do to get to his daughter, and for the Teacher that is willing to let a stranger into his life and make sure they have a chance.
4.5 Stars
I loved this book!
Cara Dee’s stories are always amazing. Loved this! Well written and worth the time, you’ll be glad you picked it up.
I loved the story of Dominic and Adrian so much. This story is so much more than just a love story. This story tells about the struggle so many young people face. Dominic has been been his own since a very young age. The street and the struggle is all he knows except for the light of his daughter Thea. She has been staying with his aunt while he tries to get ahead and get his life together. Finally while doing things he would rather not do, he gets the money he needs to get back to her. So that is where he goes.
Adrian has a heart bigger than anyone and will do anything I his power to help people. He meets Dominic when he asks Adrian if he knows where Camassla Cove is..as it happens that is exactly where Adrian is heading so he offers Dominic a ride. Their connection is almost instant, not instant lust but Adrian sticks in his mind and the next time they meet will begin a change in Dominic that will forever change his and Thea’s lives. This is an amazing story of overcoming the struggles in life and learning to give and accept love. Amazing read!!
With each Cara Dee book I read I fall a little more in love with her ability to craft a story. Each book is thoroughly engrossing and doesn’t rely on anything superfluous. The author is able to provide a meaningful story about a romantic relationship in a way that seems effortless.
The character development in this book is stunning. Each character is fully evolved and each vivid detail is there, not just for the main characters but secondary. Dominic and Adrian felt completely authentic and it brought the story to the next level. Thea was a shining star. The author also succeeds at building a realistic world, Camassia Cove feels like a setting I could stroll right into.
I love the most though that Cara Dee’s books are original. It has an underlying beauty to them that I often don’t see elsewhere. The author truly understands love and what draws people together. Cara Dee is never afraid to take on darkness because she has the gift for showing that darkness can’t extinguish light, even if it appears to smother it for a brief time. The author is able to confront struggles that are brushed aside in mainstream society and not talked about out while keeping it as a romance book. This story is romance with substance, with realism and with true heart.
5 Stars! Highly recommend!
This isn’t my first time reading this and it’s even better this time. Each read there is more I take from it. Both guys are wonderful with such big hearts. Adrian is more open with his while Dominic hides his behind a lot of armor. Thea is so precious and smart. It’s a great read from start to finish.
