THE INSTANT #1 NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLERTen years after the high-profile kidnapping of two young boys, only one returns home in Harlan Coben’s gripping Myron Bolitar thriller.A decade ago, kidnappers grabbed two boys from wealthy families and demanded ransom, then went silent. No trace of the boys ever surfaced. For ten years their families have been left with nothing but painful memories and a … nothing but painful memories and a quiet desperation for the day that has finally, miraculously arrived: Myron Bolitar and his friend Win believe they have located one of the boys, now a teenager. Where has he been for ten years, and what does he know about the day, more than half a life ago, when he was taken? And most critically: What can he tell Myron and Win about the fate of his missing friend? Drawing on his singular talent, Harlan Coben delivers an explosive and deeply moving thriller about friendship, family, and the meaning of home.

Just finished the new Harlan Coben book Home. It is, as usual, fabulous! I didn’t see this particular twist coming. I love that about his books.
I don’t just “recommend” this book. I URGE everyone to read it as soon as possible. If not, you are missing a fantastic read. It is the best book I have read in years, such a great story by the world’s best storyteller. It offers suspense, action, humor, drama, and that great writing style that has drawn me into every Coben novel and has kept me guessing until the end, which I will not spoil in this review, but after you read it, you’ll say “I’m so glad he didn’t spoil that!”. Granted, if you’ve read Coben’s previous novels, this one is even better, due to the involvement of his reader’s favorite characters, but it can be enjoyed by all readers without having read anything he wrote previously. It includes the characters from the YA Mickey Bolitar series along with all our favorites from the Myron Bolitar series, both of which I would wholeheartedly recommend. The basic premise is a 10-year-old search for kidnapped 6-year-old (now 16) boys, which had gone cold until a mysterious e-mail is sent to the cousin of one of the boys’ mothers, who happens to be “Win”, perhaps the best literary character of all time and best friend of Myron. The investigation takes many twists and turns, and there is no shortage of action, as one could assume with the presence of Win. Again, I won’t spoil anything, but I truly loved all 385 pages of this masterpiece. Thank you, Harlan!
Myron and Win are back together again! I really enjoy all the characters from this series. If you are a follower of this series, please don’t skip this one. If you are new to Myron Bolitar, don’t fret. No need to start from the beginning. Add this to your TBR pile!
A new writer to me, but I loved it from page one. Will be sure to read more of his books.
Coben’s latest Myron Bolitar novel delivers a power-packed punch from the very first chapter. The wit and quirky chemistry from the two longtime friends, Myron and Win, take center stage, but this book delivers countless surprises and twists. It will ping every emotion and take you on a ride that you won’t soon forget.
I haven’t read a Harlan Coben book in a while and I’d forgotten how much I like them. And especially his Myron Bolitar series. Coben has a unique blend of suspense, mystery, page-turning, heart pounding action and humor. Talk about twists! Great book. I really enjoyed it.
Harlan Koben is one of the very best writers of mystery. He is the whole package of creating interesting characters and imaginative plots so I can never put down his books until the very end.
Such quirky characters and an enjoyable read. I especially liked the ending with this one.
Right up there with Brian Freeman, Ruth Rendell (Barbara Vine), and Michael Robotham, Coben is one of the best thriller writers working in the business today. Every book delivers unforeseen twists, humor, likable and flawed characters on both sides of the good/bad equation, and breathless suspense. I’m always sad when I come to the end…in this case, I actually shed tears because it was also so touching. I would say that HOME is one of his best and certainly top-tier Myron Bolitar. Great stuff. Highly recommend.
Fans of Harlan Coben are in for a treat with his newest Myron Bolitar book, Home. A decade-old kidnapping of two young boys is at the center of the story. Ten years have gone by with no answers to what happened to the boys. Now Myron Bolitar and his friend Win think they have located one of the boys. Where has he been, and what was the fate of his missing friend? There are more questions than answers as Myron and Win unravel the crime.
Harlan Coben is a master storyteller with a knack for twisy, suspenseful plots. Readers who are new to Myron and Win might want to work their way through the series, though you can certainly read the book on its own. Coben just keeps getting better with every book and Home is one of those books about friendship and family that will leave you thinking long after you finish it.
Always good to see Win. He keeps Myron on his toes. Good read.
Just love the writing and the characters
Harlan Coben just doesn’t write a bad book…I love everything he writes.
I like Harlan Coban’s books this one I could not put down.Very interesting ending.
Twisty turny Coben book with a very very satisfying ending for Myron and company. Just my guess, but I think this series has come to an end. I’m sad to see it go, but th ending was just great. Thank you Harlan Coben.
Love Halen Coen, such a great writer! Always a great read.
Very good author
Excellent
I just love the Myron Bolitar series so it is hard to say if this would be a 5 star read for just anyone Ha ha –
I will tell you that many years ago after I read my first stand alone Harlan Coben book, I decided to check out more of his work and found the series about Myron the sports agent… and had ZERO interest. A guy named Myron and sports? Um, no thanks. I can’t recall what finally made me read book one, but I did and I never looked back. Home is #11 in the Myron Bolitar series. I might be in love with Myron, just so you know.
First Harlen Coben novel- Loved it. You would never dream how it ends in the 10 year old search for 2 boys.
