THE INSTANT #1 NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLERTen years after the high-profile kidnapping of two young boys, only one returns home in Harlan Coben’s gripping Myron Bolitar thriller.A decade ago, kidnappers grabbed two boys from wealthy families and demanded ransom, then went silent. No trace of the boys ever surfaced. For ten years their families have been left with nothing but painful memories and a … nothing but painful memories and a quiet desperation for the day that has finally, miraculously arrived: Myron Bolitar and his friend Win believe they have located one of the boys, now a teenager. Where has he been for ten years, and what does he know about the day, more than half a life ago, when he was taken? And most critically: What can he tell Myron and Win about the fate of his missing friend? Drawing on his singular talent, Harlan Coben delivers an explosive and deeply moving thriller about friendship, family, and the meaning of home.

Just love Harlan Conan!
Always enjoy Myron and Win and the story was engaging but Win has become so psychotic that he is wearing out his welcome at my house.
I liked this book so much I’ve read it twice-once borrowed and then purchased it on sale. Both times I did not figure out what was going on & the ending really shocked. A tremendously good read.
I have read all Harlan coben’s books. They are hard to put down.
This was the first book I read of Harlan Cohen. I found it well written. It kept my attention throughout. I liked the characters.
Classic Harlan Coben with the reunion of Myron and Win!
The mystery of it
Coban has created the best sidekick ever with Win! “Articulate” Myron Bolitar is such an original and great character!
Harlan Coban is a great and prolifically writer. Good combination, because there are some great books of his to choose from. Home is about two great friends who try to find two boys who disappeared ten years before this story begins. And they are a great combination. Money is not a problem, and they do what needs being done without police interference.
The writing is tight, there are twists along the way, and a big reveal at the end. No unanswered questions – sometimes a writer forgets to tie every little thing up, and that doesn’t happen here.
A great story, so well written. Ingive it five stars, and I’m not the most generous star giver, so that means this is a book well worth reading. Very likeable characters, especially Zorba, who looks like Veronica Lake with a beard.
