Evil brews in the boys of Trinity High. Drop dead gorgeous. The flame of hell in their eyes. And rage. Pure, unadulterated rage in every word, every look and every breath they send my way. There’s every indication they’re out to break me.Maybe I’ll let them.Maybe I’ll bite back. After all, what’s a girl got to lose when her heart’s already been obliterated?Holy Trinity is a high school bully … obliterated?
Holy Trinity is a high school bully romance fit for readers who love the transition from enemies to lovers.

Holy Trinity is a high school bully romance that gives us Elly’s story of her transferring to a new school, the fall out of her parent’s marriage, and three smoking hot guys she met over the summer at summer camp. When she sees these three guys on the first day of school, she thinks that things will pick up where they left off. But honestly…instinct tells her…not gonna happen. I mean, these guys had a good time with her at camp, but they never reached out afterward. Not a big enough hint right there? Well, humiliation is the name of the game, because that’s exactly what these guys deal her in spades on her first day. Which expertly raises the question…why and what’s going to go down from there?
Savannah Rose is an author that I enjoy reading and so I was eager to grab this book up and see where she would take me with these characters. I have to admit I was almost immediately annoyed with Elly. She’s so resentful of her mom like everything is her mom’s fault. I get it. She’s had to move to another town for her senior year, new school, new kid, etc. Not ideal for someone who’s about to graduate. But my question is this…why make the mom the heavy? She openly admits that it’s her dad who’s been doing the stepping out. But yet most of her animosity is towards her mother of all people. The animosity and bullying that she experiences on her first day has me absolutely raising my eyebrows, because it seems like there is actual anger being directed towards her. I’m immediately curious as to why and eagerly dive into this book.
The pace of this story, for me, is well done. I get the present day in most chapters and a nice scattering of the past in specific chapters as well. I appreciated the flashbacks into the summer camp days as it helps give me some foundation as to how Elly meets the “Hotshots” and where things all began. I find quite a few of their interactions interesting, but I’m a bit disappointed that based on a few interactions that Elly goes on to think that she really “knows” these guys. She knows a side to them. Nothing more.
Elly is an interesting character, but I have mixed feelings concerning her. It seems that she bases her desire to interact with the guys based on summer. It’s like the authors set her up for failure when she decides to approach them despite their refusal to even acknowledge her. I’m also disappointed that they make Kyle hamstrung. He tries to be Elly’s friend, but the minute he tries to stand up for her they have him shift into self-preservation mode. I was hoping for more.
This is a good book and well written. The authors do a fantastic job keeping me engaged in the story and in adding an element of suspense and danger down the line. If you enjoy bully romance novels and reverse harems then this is a good choice to make. I am rating this book 4 out of 5 stars.
SAVANNAH & AMELIA DESERVE ALL THE STARS!
Congrats to Savannah and Amelia and an awesome book!
I have had a hard time with my Bully books lately having far too many similarities and nothing to differentiate them. Holy Trinity however, had it all. Bullying, Mafia, Action & Suspense, and BOAT LOADS of sexual tension and steamy scenes. I mean really guys, they about set my Kindle on fire.
This is the first book I have read by them, and I was pleasantly surprised. From the very first page you can tell that our FMC is a strong and independent girl. She is also fiercely loyal to her Hotshots no matter what they do to her.
She stood by her “take no sh—“ attitude throughout the entire book and we weren’t disappointed. When push came to shove she fought back and didn’t let a single person run over her.
Second, her Hotshots were SMOKING HOT!!!
They were jerks to her to the point of no return. However, because Savannah and Amelia wrote this fabulous book in multiple POV’s you quickly understand why they are bullying her. At no point did I hate them for what they were doing to her. I HATED what they were forced to do to her, but I understood it! Which is one of the things I liked about this Bully.
10/10 would recommend!
Co-authors Savannah Rose and Amelia Gates have a great new series beginner in Holy Trinity, the Trinity High Series. A High School Bully Romance, Rose and Gates draw the readers in with a friends to foes relationship between their main protagonist Elly and the boys, Rhett, Kellan, and Gage, that she fell for. Trinity High isn’t everything it appears to be, in fact, neither is the town itself. There is something bubbling under the surface that threatens to take down Eleanor…if only she can figure out what is going on with the trio she met during the summer and why it has all gone so awry.
*Trigger warning, there are detailed bullying scenes within this book, along with scenes of death/murder. They are well written, but they could be triggering for some.*
What I loved: The blending of the genres made Holy Trinity unique to the RH high school bully romance world. Friends to enemies, high school bullying, a little bit of suspense, and the mob angle worked really well here. Their characterization was well done. Elly actually has a backbone (for the most part) and is an interesting character rather than a foolish girl who is annoyingly stupid yet lives anyway. Not only that, but she has aspirations beyond high school that she is working towards. Rhett, Gage, and Kellan each have their own distinct personalities. Sometimes in a RH, the male characters run together, but the authors kept them unique and interesting enough that we don’t mix them up. I normally don’t like flashbacks, but they really worked well here. Going from present day at Trinity High back to the Summer Camp where they met showed just how much the betrayal hurt Elly.
Where the book fell a bit short for me: The authors have a great premise, but there were times that it was awkward and stilted. The emotional connection seemed forced at times, likely because Elly frequently talked about it but the reader hardly ever saw it in scene. The story is told in two POV’s, Elly and Rhett. I wish that we had gotten Gage and Kellan’s POV as well because that would have really fleshed them out as characters and also could have explained the bond to Elly as well. I enjoyed the premise of the story, but less internal monolog and more scene would have really kicked this up another notch. There was also some repetitiveness that could have been avoided. For example, the “Where are you going to college and what do you want to do with your life” conversation takes place twice.
If you like a bully RH romance, I suggest picking up Holy Trinity and give it a try. I have read quite a few of RH friends to enemies/bully romances and this one didn’t disappoint. I am very interested in seeing where the authors take the next installment of this new series.
This book was hard to put down. Once I started it hours passed, and when it ended I wanted more. This author has a great writing style ad her books always keep me engrossed. If you like bully RH books this one’s for you.
Oh my goodness, this book was SO good. It blew me away with in depth of how close these 3 guys were and what family life was like for them. But when this shy girl comes into the picture all bets are off. Elly changes the game for Kellen, Gage and Rhett. They are the next generation of mob bosses and don’t even know it and sweet Elly is the girl that they fall in love with. You get to see how things change but also remain the same and I hope that they have more story to tell. This is worth the read. I give it 5 stars. I voluntarily read and reviewed this book as an Advanced Reader’s Copy.
Green meadow ranch was where they all met. A summer of freedom and firsts, of love and hope. Friendships and more.
A new school, for the last year and there they are, her lost boys.
Suprised and shocked are they, underneath their masks of indifference.
Shes here, they’re here and the poop is about to hit the fan!
If reverse harem or bully books are your thing, then you NEED to read this!!
Oh my gosh it has everything, from suspence and intrigue to bullying, intimidation and complete victimisation.
I’ve not read either author before, it was purely the cover that spoke to me that brought me here, and I’m soooo glad of that as it’s a read that sticks out from a crowd.
Its unique, in the circumstances of the family, and the actions of the key players to her reactions from start to finish.
I found I too desired all three. They steal your heart with the private moments, the reasoning behind everything and simply their ability to make you weak kneed.
Theres not a single thing I didn’t love about this!
A must read of July that’s for sure!
5 stars for Holy Trinity by Savannah Rose and Amelia Gates. This is book 1 in the Trinity High Series. This is a high school bully romance. I will say this was pretty dark for a high school bully romance. The things that Rhett, Kellan and Gage do to Elly are meant to break her but she is stronger than they think. I’m telling you I consider myself an extremely strong woman but the things they do to her I myself could not handle.
Elly meet the Hotshots at summer camp this past summer. They all got close, when the camp was over they promised that they would all be together, but that is just not the case. After not hearing from them she is not at the same school Trinity High with them. The only problem with this is, they are not at all who she thought they were. Maybe, just maybe everything is not as it seems.
This book was dark and amazing. I felt a lot of emotions while reading. I am looking forward to reading more from these two authors.
