A billionaire silver-screen hero finds a real-life heroine in this sizzling romantic comedy from New York Times bestselling author Ruth Cardello.Sage Revere follows her instincts, which have led to an oddball career as a plant psychologist. As a side project, she also helps strangers find happiness. Sage has a gift for knowing who needs her help, and the brooding hunk of a loner she meets in a … loner she meets in a coffee shop certainly fits the bill. She can feel it.
On-screen, Eric Westerly is the hottest superhero there is. Offscreen, he’s out of rehab; incognito in London; and reevaluating his life, his career, and his broken family ties. All he wants is to be alone. Then along comes some daft plant whisperer who gets under his skin. She’s also sweet, sexy, and irresistible. But what’ll happen when she finds out who he is—that underneath the gray spandex, he’s just a regular guy with a Batcave?
But Eric isn’t the only one with a few secrets. And when the masks come off, Sage and Eric are going to have to trust each other if they want a Hollywood happy ending.

“Hollywood Heir” is book four in the Westerly Billionaire series and it was a interesting read. This is the story of Eric Westerly and Sage Revere both of whom are a little odd to say the least. Eric is a superhero who happens to be fresh out of rehab and trying his best to hide away from the world. He has some issues he is trying to work through. Sage is a plant psychologist which is just a ruse, she has a gift of knowing who needs her help to bring them happiness.
Naturally she knows that Eric needs her help, she is just not sure why so she sets out to find the answer to that question.
I really enjoyed this book and getting to know Sage and Water Bear Man, two different people that definitely belong together.
Didn’t want to put it down. Another fantastic read delivered by a great author. An emotional ride full of ups and downs, “two odd ducks” that found love and healing with each other. A great addition to the Westerly series. I wasn’t sure how I was going to like Eric’s book and Sage seemed a bit odd in the description but she turned out to be a very endearing character that radiates joy from the pages. Well worth the read, I loved it!
I am really enjoying this series and now we have Eric’s story. He is out of rehab and still having a hard time coming to grips with life and then he meets Sage. She is an odd duck but just his kind of odd duck and they suit each other. The only problem is, he starts off by lying to her and that is not the way to start anything. Can she forgive him? Well, of course she will or there would not be a reason to finish this and come to a happy ending!
Eric Westerly is an action-hero super star who is doing a Greta Garbo – hiding out in London after completing rehab. Sage Revere spots him at the local coffee shop and, even though she doesn’t recognize him with his fake scar, she senses a kindred spirit. Eric doesn’t know what to make of plant psychologist Sage. She reaches people through plants and, if there’s one thing she’s learned from plants, it’s patience. Oh my, she draws on all her patience with Eric, as he is attractive but so angry and rude! I loved that Sage offered him an unconditional friendship.
“You know all those people you think you’ve disappointed? I’m not one of them. Not yet. Consider me a clean-slate friend.”
I needed patience and time to warm up to Eric. Cardello does a great job of redeeming him and making him worthy of Sage, even after he does disappoint her. Through his relationship with Sage, Eric comes to terms with his family, past, and fame.
This is the fourth book in the Westerly Billionaire series, but the first that I’ve read. I enjoyed the book as a stand alone but want to read more about the Westerly family. Sage’s best friend, Bella, needs her own book too!
I received a copy from the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
Highly entertaining, sexy, fun, emotional and action packed romantic journey filled with lots of heat and passion…. loved it!
Sage Revere and Eric Westerly are a sweetly opposite couple that are fun to read about and I was hooked from beginning to end and am looking forward to the next visit.
Eric is lost. Sage is the helper of the lost. He’s not sure why, but he’s drawn to her. She gets him when no one else can. Can Sage be the one that brings Eric back to his family?
The bottom line of this book is all that matters in the end is family. Rich or poor, weak or strong, our families love us flaws and all. It’s our choice whether to accept them as they are or walk away and be alone. Eric has distanced himself from his family and Sage’s damily has distanced themselves from her. Now they must navigate a rocky road to love. One that includes lies, interfering family members and distrust. But in the end Sage gives Eric what he needs; his family and her love.
Sage and Eric such an emotional story. Eric is a man with so many issues that he shall we say carries a lot of baggage. Sage is a bit of a quirky duck, she is a psychologist for plants. She has such a keen sense of reading people and she is very sensitive to their needs . These two unlikely characters may be just what they both need .
A story about finding each other , healing and learning to love.

“Hollywood Heir” (Westerly Billionaire Book 4) by Ruth Cardello is a great read. I thoroughly enjoyed Eric and Sage’s story. This is the first book in this series that I’ve read, and I’m looking forward to going back to read the others. This story has romance, humor, entertaining characters, second chances, close friends, billionaires, and more. Highly recommend to all fans of romance, billionaires, entertaining characters, and series.
Sage and Eric will find a lot more than healing along the way to their Hollywood Ending HEA! Sage can’t help it she just loves to help people. She sees a soul in peril and she is drawn to it and feels compelled to do everything in her power to help heal it. When she notices the broody and angry man in the coffee shop she’s stop for a moment before going straight up to him and offering her aid. Eric just wants to be left alone for crimeny’s sake. He wants to forget about acting and rehab and just everything. When what appears to be a crazy plant lady offers her aid to heal him he is taken aback but can’t seem to shake him in more ways than one. Healing never just touches one soul it always is symbiotic.
I voluntarily read an reader copy of this book
I am really loving this new series. The Westerly family is as screwed up as you can get, which means great stories. Eric has a lot of issues in his life, and I like that he was trying to get away from all the fame and just find himself. Sage was hilarious. I loved her quirky personality and her sweet, giving soul. She has her own issues to deal with, but she always seems to want to help others first. I really liked how they met, despite his deception about who he really was. They had great chemistry and were really good for each other. Delinda continues to wreck havoc, but she is warming on me. I continue to hope for the best in regards to her behavior. I look forward to more of the Westerly’s.
I absolutely loved this book! The secondary characters were just as great as the main characters. I did feel sorry for Sage, with how her family is. However I feel Eric’s family more than filled in the gaps she was missing. This is a great book from beginning to end!
I loved this book! Another amazing story about the Westerlys by Ruth Cardello! I highly recommend this series.
I loved everything about this book. Eric and Sage are absolutely perfect for each other. They both have trust issues, low expectations of people and money issues although somewhat different issues as it were. The attraction was immediate but because Bella (best friend to Sage ) was less than thrilled Sage proceeds with caution. Although she knows the man she met was hiding something she feels drawn to him. Eric has withdrawn from his family for so long he didn’t realize how much they mean to him until he sees things through Sages eyes. As usual Delinda gets involved and once again over steps and misunderstands causing a ruckus. But as Reggie says they are both odd ducks which makes things interesting. The dedication Reggie and his family have for Eric is so heartwarming. I think the Westerly clan just might find contentment.
This is reality romance!
A modern romance with the imperfectly perfect characters coming from “disfunctional” families and trying to make sense of their lives.
Sage and Eric checked my boxes as soul mates. Loved their interactions along with each of their best friends giving them best friend advice, wanted or not lol.
Ms Cardello is so good at involving your heart no matter the circumstance with family always being the core.
I received an ARC thru Net galley, and am happily giving my honest review.
Out of all of the characters in this series I’ve been looking forward to this one and waiting patiently for Eric’s book to get here. Seriously who doesn’t love a superhero. Yeah, I know he’s only an actor, but Eric has been such an interesting character throughout the series and Sage is so perfect for him.
Hollywood Heir has a little bit of mystery to it, lots os steam and that amazing family dynamic that we love. One of my favorite side characters is Reggie. Family doesn’t just mean blood relatives and Reggie is such an awesome personality, although I wonder how he doesn’t get smacked silly for some of his stunts.
Check this one out, it’s a super fun read.
In true Ruth Cardello writing style Hollywood Heir pulls you in from the beginning. Eric Westerly, actor gets played by his fiance and becomes disallusined with his acting and his choices. Sage Revere self-proclaimed plant phycologist is a lonly woman who loves to help people but isn’t taken seriously by anyone that matters until she meets an incognito Eric. Two souls lost in different ways. Ruth’s characters are always compelling, strong and lovable. Her writing is such that you can loose yourself in her words. Loved this book! I highly recomend the whole series of stand alone Westerlys.
O.M.G.!! This story is soooo good!! Eric really pulled on my heartstrings. All I wanted to do was hug him throughout the book. AND, when I grow up I want to be like Sage! I fell in love with her outlook on life and how independent she was without closing herself off. This is my favorite book so far in the Westerly series!
Hollywood Heir by Ruth Cardello is book Four in the Westerly Billionaire series. This is the story of Sage Revere and Eric Westerly. I haven’t yet read the previous book, so for me this is a standalone book.
Eric is a Hollywood actor just out of rehab not feeling that he is in a good place when Sage enters his life. Sage likes to make people happy that are feeling down or out. So she has noticed how Eric appears and wants to help him…even when he doesn’t want it.
This was such a great story! I so enjoyed Ms. Cardello’s writing and this just made me more into her books….loved it!
Eric Westerly is trying so very hard to hide from the world. He hates who he is and is angry with everybody and everything especially his meddling family. When he meets Sage Revere he doesn’t know what hit him. Lies and secrets nearly destroy this relationship before it gets started especially when Eric’s grandmother decides to interfere.
This is the fourth book in the Westerly series and I love going back to visit this crazy, mixed up, dysfunctional family. It is always fun to see what everybody is up to and this one is no different. I knew Eric’s story would be heart wrenching because he has so many hurts hidden deep down that have to come out and be dealt with before he can get his HEA. I loved Sage’s attitude toward life especially and in spite of the parents she grew up with. There is a lot of fun humor in this story that this author is famous for as it adds so much to this story. The characters of Bella and Reggie add so much laugh out loud moments that are such a great support to Eric and Sage. You never know what is going to happen next with them involved. There is also a very moving scene with Eric and his grandmother that I didn’t see coming but was so very lovely. If you haven’t read this series you are missing out on true romance with a little not so perfect thrown in the mix! Hollywood Heir is another hit for this author!
I received an ARC from NetGalley for an honest review.
