I could not put this series down. All are standalone but each book flowed into each other. If I Loved You is about Meg and Chaz and how a Hollywood Star has to navigate his private life while continuing his public persona and what that all entails. Red Carpet Romance introduces us to Quinn and Susanna and shows what true friendship means and how keeping someone else’s secret can have a snowball effect. Memories of Love is my favorite. Grant and Cara love each other so much but life changes, insecurity, lies, and betrayal keep them apart. All three are great reads and I look forward to continuing reading this series.
I found this to be a very enjoyable box set of romantic reads. This box set contains three entertaining reads that are well written, have complex characters and engaging story lines. Up first is: If I Loved You. I really enjoyed the dynamic in this story of Average Jane and Mega Move Star. I liked Megan and Chaz. There is lots of emotional turmoil, tension and drama as this couple’s relationship moves from business to pleasure. I appreciated the fact that all was not smooth sailing for this couple. The way their story unfolded seemed very real and for me, that made it all the more compelling. Next is: Red Carpet Romance. This Nanny and The Action Movie Star will send your emotions on a roller coaster ride. I quickly fell for Susanna and Quinn but I will say that that affection was severely tested when they seemed to turn into two very different people when things took a very bad turn. This again felt realistic but I wasn’t a fan of how ugly things got. Still for the most part I liked them. Susanna had a history that made your heart ache for her but she was incredibly strong, determined and resilient. As for Quinn, he was he had a lot of charm but also some vulnerability to him. Overall this book offered a complex blend of emotions and drama with a side order of mystery that I found very enticing. Lastly you get: Memories Of Love. This book is really all about emotions and drama. Cara and Grant’s story is a second chance at love story. It is a heart wrenching tale that will seriously push your own emotions to the limit as this complicated story of love, heartbreak, choices, mistakes and fate unfolds. I’ll be totally honest here and say I was kind of on-the-fence about this one. While I won’t say I hated anyone except Evelyn, I had issues with both Grant and Cara that made them both pretty unlikable to me. I thought mistakes and bad choices were made by everyone and hey, people (even fictional ones) are human but when kids are involved I have a much higher set of standards which unfortunately just were not met. However, that is only my personal pet peeve and other than that I thought it was an entertaining read.
