Quirky Faith Pierson loves her life in rural Vermont. Especially in December when she throws herself into the local holiday festivities.Widower Graham Westfall doesn’t have time for Christmas. After missing the mark on his last ad campaign by a New York mile, his job now hangs in the balance. He has one month to come up with a new campaign or he’s out. He arrives in Holly Pointe planning to work … planning to work the month away while his twin daughters spend time with their grandmother.
When he discovers there’s no room at Gramma Ginny’s Inn, his only choice of lodging is the one place in Holly Pointe he doesn’t want to be…the Candy Cane Christmas House.
Holiday Party Central accurately describes the home where Faith and her Grandmother live. Under this roof there are cookies to bake, lessons to learn and love to embrace. If a romance between an artist and an ad executive can’t bloom at this time of year…then when?

Cindy Kirk has done another amazing job roping you into the world of Holly Pointe. I love the family dynamics, loving sense of community, holiday flare and life struggles/lessons that are thrown into her books.
Faith has moved to Holly Pointe to care for her grandmother…years later she’s now established within the community.
Widower Graham comes to visit his mother-in-law with his twin girls in tow.
Big city vs. small town, work schedules, personal values…plus adding children to the mix!!
You can’t help get wrapped up in the Christmas spirit as their story takes shape and unfolds.

Holly Pointe and Candy Canes is the perfect romance for Christmas. Faith is my kind of heroine. She’s smart, creative, pretty, and comfortable with herself. She’s made decisions that weren’t easily accepted by her family. They were the right decisions, though, and they led her to meeting Graham.
Graham is a widower with twin girls. He’s smart, handsome, and creative. He’s a good father and that makes him especially hero material.
Holly Pointe and Candy Canes is a heartfelt romance with tons of Christmas spirit. If you love Holly Pointe (and I do), love Christmas (my favorite holiday), and want a happily ever after (who doesn’t?), then Holly Pointe and Candy Canes is the book for you!

What a fun, romantic holiday story!
I absolutely love a wonderful Christmas story to get me into the holiday spirit! “Holly Pointe and Candy Canes” did not disappoint. I was so happy to return to the small community of Holly Pointe, especially at Christmas time. Faith and Graham’s story is magical. I fell in love with them, Graham’s twins – Charlotte and Hannah, as well as all of the characters. This is a story of realizing what is really important in life. Something we all need to be reminded of every now and then. As always, I love how Cindy Kirk tells a tale. “Holly Pointe and Candy Canes” gave me all the holiday feels and I highly recommend it. You won’t be able to put it down once you start reading.

I greatly enjoyed this story of Faith Pierson (introduced in the first novel) and Graham Westfall. Faith is a local business owner and president of the Holly Pointe Chamber of Commerce. Graham, a widower with twin young daughters, comes to Holly Pointe so his daughters can visit with their maternal grandmother Ginny, and also give himself a chance to redo his marketing campaign for Dustin and Krista, hosts of a successful TV series. Graham had planned to stay with Ginny, but the arrival of Ginny’s son and his family left Graham looking for another place. Faith volunteers some rooms at her mother’s house, and the increased interaction between Faith and the twins and Faith and Graham increases the bond between Faith and the twins and the growing attraction between Faith and Graham.
Graham lives in New York City, but he is interested in Faith and Holly Pointe. Faith, who once lived in NYC, loves living in Holly Pointe, but an offer from Dustin and Krista to relocate to Gatlinburg Tennessee creates a dilemma for Faith. Can Graham and Faith trust themselves and each other, and work together towards a resolution that works for Faith, Graham, and the twins?
I liked this second novel better than the first excellent novel. The first novel created the town and many people. While most characters were well defined, I could never get a good feel for three characters, and could not tell them apart. I did not have that experience with the current novel, even with minor characters. I highly recommend this book.

It was fun to revisit the festive Vermont town of Holly Pointe and catch up with characters from book one (Holly Pointe and Mistletoe) in this delightful holiday story, which features one of the town’s business owners and president of the Chamber of Commerce and a visiting single father of twins. Faith, who moved to town several years earlier to take care of her grandmother who fell, is now totally immersed in the culture of a town she’s grown to love and a creative business she is proud of and worked hard to grow. Widowed Graham is taking a break from his busy NYC life to give his twin daughters a Christmas with his mother-in-law. Faith and Graham might as well be from two different planets, yet they click from the very beginning. Each helps the other find the strength to dream beyond their prescribed lives. And each learns to compromise, but not without some seemingly insurmountable ups and downs.
As usual, Kirk weaves a charming and spirited holiday story full of fun, small-town neighborliness, family-first mindset, and a few wrenches thrown into the mix that could derail a burgeoning romance. I really enjoyed the adventure in this sweetly, steamy holiday adventure of growth, love, and finding family.

Such an endearing story of love, family and Christmas. Faith and Graham were so special together. Graham learned to prioritize his life and Faith fell in love with him and his beautiful daughters. I read every page with joy for this family. A wonderful Christmas story by Cindy. I received this ARC for an honest review.
Holly Pointe is a wonderful small town. Faith came here to help take care of her grandma. Little did she know she would still be here 3 years later. She is so positive and uplifting. In the meantime she has started her own business with positive sayings. Giving the locals job opportunities. Graham Westphal is in two with his twin daughters, Hannah and Charlotte. They are adorable but easily bored. It seems they were to stay at grandma’s house but her son came home with his teenage boys. I love that the Candy Cane House is so full of Christmas activities and that people volunteer to make candy, bake cookies, wrap presents and send out care packages. It seems that the zing between Faith and Graham was just going to be a fling. But Christmas has a way of bringing out true love. The ending was perfect.
I was drawn in to Holly Pointe and Faith and Graham’s story from the very first and had a hard time putting it down. The themes of family and community were heartfelt and added to these two people coming together in spite of what they consider terrible odds. They go from “let’s enjoy what time we have” to “can we make this work?” in a lovely way. Graham has twin 5-year-old daughters that add to the frivolity of the season, and Christmas in Holly Pointe is like a character all its own. I liked how they both could admit they were wrong and work things through. It’s a delightful story with a happy ending. My only regret is we don’t get to find out where (geography-wise) Grahman and Faith end up; I’m hoping that’s coming in a future story!

When Faith moved back to Holly Pointe to care for her grandmother, she found joy in leaving high pressure success behind and focusing on family. The need for success has brought Graham and his adorable twin daughters to Holly Pointe. He needs to clinch an important campaign to prove his worth to his boss. In writing Holly Pointe and Candy Canes, Cindy Kirk has hit the heart of one of the fractures within our society, putting success and wealth before family and joy, and wrapped it in romance. I really enjoyed this one. I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author and I am willingly offering this review.
