Holly and the Stolen Test is the seventh book in the Holly Lewis Mystery Series by a USA Today Bestselling Author Dianne Harman.
Just as the title suggests, when a math test goes missing, Holly decides to investigate, although she is most definitely surprised by the reaction of friends along with other students during her inquiry.
How can Holly discover the truth and do something about it without losing her friends, as well as her boyfriend, Wade? Somehow, she needs to make them all understand the repercussions of cheating.
When Holly’s guardians. Brigid and Linc, are contacted by the school principal when Holly is caught in an innocent, yet compromising, situation, with some students not following the rules, she is shocked at their assumptions.
There are many other well-developed entertaining characters to read about, such as Abra the psychic, who helps Holly control her occasional anxiety, along with Lucky the cat and Jett, the dog.
The stories in this series are standalones, in the style of Nancy Drew, but with a modern twist containing some valuable life lessons. I would highly recommend this series to teenage readers of all ages!!

Holly has a photographic memory and has no problems with any of her classes. She even makes money tutoring other students. But in her high school there is this one class with this one professor who refuses to grade on a curve and is noted for his hard tests– and a major test coming up, The class–Geometry. I was never able to this day to understand or learn that subject so I totally understand why what happened almost happened. I still hear the word geometry and shudder!!!!!!
Holly actually got in trouble because she was trying to find the person who stole the test and was selling it. Holly ended up grounded because Bridget would not listen to Holly’s side of the story!! I honestly loved the way Holly handled it all without naming names and so will you!!
I really suggest you get your teens to read this one–there are a couple of really good lessons embedded in this story!
4 Star review Holly and The Stolen Test (Holly Lewis #7) by Dianne Harman
Audio Review:
Dianne Harman is a relatively new author to me whilst the narrator Heather Robison is new to me and she did a good job with the narration.
This story reminded me a little of the Nancy Drew mysteries I used to read when I was a teenager and loved. Holly Lewis is angry when she learns that a maths test has been stolen and is being offered to her fellow students to purchase. She is even angrier when she is grounded by Bridget unfairly as she refuses to listen to Holly.
Holly is determined to investigate, bust she is shocked by the reactions of her friends. If she persists she may lose her friends as well as her boyfriend Wade? Is it worth the trouble? This story has some life lessons within about doing the right thing, even when you know it will make you unpopular and I think for teenagers it would be good for them to listen to this book.
