Holiday Terminal is a fantastic Holiday second chance love story between two people who were meant to be together. Penelope and Artemis were teenage sweethearts who broke up over a misunderstanding. Years later they find each other again when they are both stranded at a small airport due to a storm. Seeing each other again after years brings back past pain and also gives them a second chance at love. This is a sweet love story filled with drama, surprises, love, forgiveness and twists that had me turning the pages to find out how their story ends.
Holiday Terminal: A Second Chance Secret Baby Billionaire Holiday Romance is a fantastic second chance romance by Christy Anderson and Gywn McNamee. I have read, and loved, many books by Gwyn McNamee but this was the first time that I had read any of Christy Anderson’s writing. After reading this book, I’m sure I will read more in the future as I really, really enjoyed this book.
Holiday Terminal was very different to any other book I have read, for several reasons. Firstly, there are very few characters in the book. Secondly, it takes place over a very short space of time and thirdly, almost the whole story takes place in just 1 location.
Although there were very few characters, those that were in the book were very well written and all have valuable parts to play in the storyline. As always (for me) when there is a young child in a book, they totally steal the scene for me and Max in this book was no different. He was totally adorable. I loved the interactions between the 2 main characters Penelope and Artemis. Both have never got over the other and still have very deep feelings for each other but are both angry with each other which lead to some very heated arguments.
One of my favourite parts of this book is the bond that grows very quickly between Artemis and Max. It’s adorable to read their interactions.
Although different, I really loved this book and would definitely recommend it to others.
While Christy Anderson is a new author for me, writing a book with one of my go-to authors Gwyn McNamee was a must! Holiday Terminal was an amazing captivating read of two people destined to find each other and have a second chance.
This one gave you all the feels you need for an amazing all-rounder book! Its had angst, passion, drama, romance, heartbreak but all in all it was the perfect read from start till finish. I couldn’t put this read down, I read it on one sitting and fell in love with both Artemis & Penelope each in their own way but also the journey that they take, in the short amount of time.
You couldn’t help but absolutely feel so much emotion with what these two went through you just kept wishing they would overcome their past, a secret and actually talk and realise the thing that brought them together many years before was still the main thing that both of them still felt!
There is not a single thing I could say that I didn’t love about this book, other than I didn’t want it to ever end! I can’t wait to experience more from these two incredible authors I’ll be eagerly awaiting Holiday Bridal Wave.
When I found out that Gwyn McNamee and Christy Anderson were writing a book together I could not contain my excitement! From the beginning to the end I was glued to my kindle. I absolutely loved it!
Holiday Terminal is such an addictive read that packs all the feels!
Artemis and Penelope’s journey was so realistic to me. Their story showed what it means to face that love that left the biggest mark. These two touched my heart! I felt everything that they did and then some.
This book will definitely be one of my go-to reads at Christmas time from now on. I can’t wait to read what Ms.McNamee and Ms.Anderson write next!
*I volunteered to read and review a Copy of this book from the authors*
I loved this story! This was one of this feel good romances that just makes your heart smile. It was a happy holiday romance that had two people hoping for their second chance at romance. These two author worked so well together and the story they created was strong and well written. I loved the main characters Penelope and Artemis. I found myself rooting for their HEA and excited to see where their story would go. I am looking forward to reading more stories by both of these authors and I would recommend this to a friend!
Happy reading!
Holiday Terminal is a beautiful opening to the holiday season by Gwyn McNamee and Christy Anderson. It is a Hallmark worthy second chances Christmas story that leaves you feeling warm and fuzzy! I have read Gwyn McNamee writing before but it was my first encounter with Christy Anderson and I was not disappointed!
Holiday Terminal gives us the reunion of Artemis Warren and Penelope Barnes who are thrown together in the middle of Nowhere for Christmas and I am sure that at first neither of them really considered it to be a Christmas present but the fate has decided to step in and who are we mere mortals to fight against what is to happen … of course it should not be an easy ride so buckle in for a Christmas ride filled with Christmas spirit with a Christmas miracle peaking round the corner!
5 Star
Holiday Terminal by Gwyn McNamee & Christy Anderson is a heartwarming story about two people who are given a second chance at love. It’s a quick read that once you start reading you won’t want to put down till the end. I absolutely love holiday romance stories and this one is definitely my favorite. I loved the characters and how well developed and easily relatable they were. Artemis and Penelope, both have landed at the small airport because of the weather. She thought he was only her past .When these two see each other all the memories come back. Can he convince her that she’s the only one he’s ever loved? Can these two have a future together? “ “Artemis Warren. Please head over to the office.” I freeze. No. The cup slips from my hand. The Styrofoam hits the ground, and scalding-hot liquid splashes against my bare legs. I hardly feel the burn. It can’t be. Not here……I scan the rest of the terminal. Maybe I misheard. It couldn’t be him. Fate wouldn’t toy with me like that. Right?”
“It was instant. Even as a teenager, barely out of high school, I knew I would love him. I knew it was something bigger than me. Bigger than him. Us. It was too big. Too powerful. Too damn much for a kid to think that way, feel that way. But I let it overtake me with every shy glance we shared. Every smile. Every touch. I knew it would be something epic. A fairy tale. One I would hold in my heart forever. And damn if I wasn’t right. I just never imagined it would come to such a catastrophic end.”
OMG! First of all, this book is sooooooo freaking goooood! It needs to be made into a movie so I can watch it over and over again, especially leading up to Christmas!!! I have already read it 3 times and will probably re-read it many more times in the next few weeks. I am a sucker for a great Christmas/holiday story- especially one that grabs you by the heart-strings. This one gave me all the emotional content that I love so much, tugging on my heart-strings, giving me that ‘feel-good’ experience at the end, where I sat back with a big smile on my face, because I am so happy to have this book in my life.
Holiday terminal by Gwyn McNamee and Christy Anderson is a wonderful holiday romance- with a massive snowstorm, a small airport in the middle of nowhere, a twist of fate, some drama, angst, push-pull, surprises, steam, emotion, and second chances. I am a huge fan of both these authors individually, and both are on my favourite authors list- so when they decide to collaborate on a book- I AM ALL IN!!! No questions asked. #TAKEMYMONEY #ONECLICK #WINNING
Now after reading this story, I am soooo impressed by what they have produced- but I really shouldn’t have been surprised- because DUH, it’s Gwyn McNamee and Christy Anderson- both such excellent authors- and I should have known that anything these two talented writers came up with would be brilliant. I was hooked right from the start- this story is my crack- totally addictive- and it’s one addiction this junkie is happy to feed.
The story takes place in a tiny airport terminal in the middle of nowhere, when a twist of fate throws two ex-lovers together in the snowstorm of the century. Past hurts are never far from the surface- but neither is their electrifying chemistry. But, with their past pain, miscommunication, and a big secret- will these two find their second chance, or will this twist of fate bring even more heartache.
I LOVED Art and Pen, so so so much! Thant’s not to say there weren’t a few moments where I wanted to shake them. Their miscommunication drove me crazy. And I found myself yelling a t them several times through the story. They are perfect for each other. I really can’t wait to read Archie’s story- I really NEED it STAT! Like yesterday!!!
So, what are you waiting for- seriously, if you love a fantastic holiday romance, an emotive- well written story, and wonderful characters- then this is definitely one book you won’t want to miss. And if this book is outside of your preferred reading, why not take a chance and dive in- you may be surprised by how much you like it too! There really is so much to love about this book!
Thank you, Gwyn McNamee & Christy Anderson!!!
Holiday Terminal allowed me to check off tons of boxes on my favorite types of books to read:
Christmas √
Second-Chance √
Secret Child √
I’ve been looking forward to Holiday Terminal for a while. And I wasn’t disappointed. I loved the story of a young couple where one feels pulled away from a relationship because of family commitment, and yet never forgetting ‘the one who got away’. I love a story where a single mom pulls herself up and finds a way to be successful while balancing life with a child.
I very much enjoyed Holiday Terminal. It was a quick-read and has gotten me into the holiday spirit!
A wonderful heartwarming second chance Christmas read just in time for the holiday season. Artemis and Penelope’s attraction and feelings prove that nothing stays in the past and you can never escape what your heart truly wants. Sometimes what we think is a bad situation or tragedy to be in is exactly where we needed to be all along proving that our destiny is not always in our hands. Gwyn McNamee and Christy Anderson delivers a touching and delightful story from beginning to end. A wonderful setting with such brilliant and detailed descriptive narration. Strong believable and relatable characters. Well thought out and absolutely enjoyable. Highly recommend. Come share Artemis and Penelope’s story as they rediscover each other.
McNamee is a must read author for me so I knew without hesitation I would love this book. And I wasn’t disappointed. I was invested with each character and was drawn into the story immediately. Fantastic characters and plot – just truly a wonderful holiday book that helped get me in the mood for a Hallmark movie fest. Loved it!
Holiday Terminal was a great 5-star second chance romance.
I really enjoyed Penelope and Artemis’s story. These two find themselves in the middle of nowhere at a very small airport on Christmas. Due to a snowstorm both of their flights had to do an emergency landing and of course fate stepped in and brought them together again after 5 years.
Penelope is shocked to see Artemis, the old feelings come back and she goes back to the last time they saw each other. Her heart was shattered and he walked away. She also is afraid that he will discover her secret. What will happen when the secret comes out?
Artemis and Penelope start to realize that they both had made mistakes the last time they talked. There was a misunderstanding that changed their lives. Can they finally have what they wanted so badly or will Aremis’s family step in?
Overall I really enjoyed this read. All of the secondary characters were great. I can’t wait to read more from this series. 1-click and get started today on this great read.
Holiday Terminal is a Christmas novel by Gwyn McNamee and Christy Anderson.
Christmas Eve plans change when a snow storm causes Penelope, to get stranded at an airport.
Luck doesn’t appear on her side when she runs into Artemis at the same airport who is also stranded.
Can the man that broke her heart, proof that he only has ever loved her?
I generally stay away from holiday romance book but I couldn’t say no when I read the premise. This was a cute story about second chances.
I am a huge fan of Gwyn McNamee and have just been introduced to Christy Anderson.
I look forward to reading more of their books.
Sweet, sexy holiday second chances!
An unexpected snow storm grounds Penelope, her mom, and son in a tiny airport in Tennessee. The last person she expects to see walking into the terminal is her ex. And unknowing father of said son.
Art/Artie/Artemis finds himself forced to land in a small airport enroute to a family Christmas party in New York. He does not expect to see the woman who broke his heart six years before.
Sweet, steamy, touching, and a bit angsty. I love short fast reads crammed full of all the feels.
Floved it!! Cute kid, uncooperative Mother Nature, surprise encounter, passion, feels, all the things I love.
I received a review copy. I am voluntarily leaving an honest review.

Holiday Terminal

5 out of 5 stars
The story Holiday Terminal is a wonderful book to read. It pulled me in from the beginning and didn’t let me go until the final page. I loved reading about the characters of Penelope and Artemis. Both have landed at a small airport because of the weather. She thought that he was only part of her past. He is going home to make a statement that has been a long time coming. Once they see each other the memories come back. What does the future hold for Penelope and Artemis? Will they give each other a second chance? Can Artemis convince Penelope that she is the only woman he has ever loved? Read this book to find out. The authors do a wonderful job of making the character likable and believable. The story does have a bit of romance as well as times of conflict. This second chance romance is set at Christmas time. The perfect time for joy and happiness. Will Penelope and Artemis listen to their hearts and make this Christmas one they will always remember? Don’t miss out on a book that will have you hooked from the beginning to the very end. I highly recommend it.
I really liked this story. It’s well-written with characters that are immediately likeable. If you are looking for a quick, heartwarming, holiday read, this is the one. Great job. 5 stars.
I loved this story. It had all kinds of angst and emotional turmoil. And a great HEA. Just what the holidays ordered.
I loved this story but who doesn’t love a holiday story that will warm your heart. This is a great holiday story about second chance romance. This is a well written story by two great authors that have created strong, connectable characters as well as make you feel part of the story. Penelope and Artemis never expected to see each other at the airport, least of all be stranded together there. Will they be able to rekindle what they once had? I highly recommend this must read holiday story.
This was such a pleasure to read! Artemis and Penelope were lovers when they were teens and circumstances prevented them from staying together. Fast forward a few years and Penelope, her mother and Penelope’s son were trying to fly to her parents house for Christmas when a blizzard strands them in the middle of nowhere. Artemis is also stranded at the same airport. The story that follows is sweet and heartfelt. Perfect for an afternoon read!
Thank you for the privilege of reading this book! Well done
