Please note that this bonus epilogue holiday story inherently contains spoilers for previous books in the series, as it takes place after those events. Long-time friends: Thank … series, as it takes place after those events.
Long-time friends: Thank you so much for joining me on this adventure! I have had such a blast helping the Dukes of War overcome adversity (and sometimes themselves!) on their journeys to love. So much has changed in their lives, and yet one thing remains constant: their friendship.
It has been so much fun to join up with them again to share one more holiday together. I hope you love being a part of their circle as much as I do.

This was sweet. I enjoyed seeing the series’ couples enjoying a house party together. This tree decorating thing – this is a nice tradition to establish; I wonder what it will be like with more and older children underfoot?
Loved it, but too short, wish there was more!
Holiday Reunion by Erica Ridley
Dukes of War #8
What a delightful short story to catch us up with all of the couples in the Dukes of War series. I loved finding out who had babies and hearing what each person had to say about their true love in the game played before they put their candles on the Christmas tree…and…the mistletoe kiss at the door? What fun! I would love to see these couples every year as they carry on the Christmas tree decorating tradition at Ravenwood House. NOTE: If you have not read the series then this book is not for you as you would not have a clue who any of the people are BUT if you have read them…this is truly a Christmas treat.
Thank you to the author for the ARC – This is my honest review.
5 Stars
What a delightful Christmas novella!
Short but very sweet, this is a story of a holiday party that reunites all our favorite Dukes of War couples. There’s plenty of mistletoe, games, laughter, and babies! It’s a wonderful evening spent with old friends, and I wouldn’t have missed it for the world. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
This short novella was a delightful way to catch up with all the characters introduced in Erica Ridley’s Dukes of War series. I thoroughly enjoyed the back and forth banter between the engaging characters and it was a nice way to refresh my memories of each of the couples. An added bonus I liked was I found out who had been blessed with children versus those who were still anticipating the event. I can only hope that Ms. Ridley plans to eventually bestow us with stories of the grown children. The Dukes of War series contains several of my favorite reads and this is a great epilogue to the whole series. Thank you, Ms. Ridley, for the gift copy of this work. All opinions stated are my own and voluntarily submitted.
What a wonderful way to revisit all of our favorite Dukes of War! I loved seeing the dukes, their wives & their new generation of children when they all gather at Ravenswoods’ for a wonderful tree decorating party. The interaction between the friends, with fun teasing & bantering, reminds us of why we loved this series so much & what a fantastic way to celebrate Christmas & start a new Christmas yearly tradition! Erica made this a reunion to remember her wonderful characters! I was gifted the Advanced Reader Copy of this book & all opinions are my own & have been voluntarily given.
Like a curtain call, the Dukes of War couples – with and without issue – arrive one by one at the Ravenwoods’ for a tree decorating party. There is some lively banter, understandably short as this is a very short story, and teasing. Lighthearted reading. Something for fans of the Dukes of War series.
I read a free copy; my opinion is given voluntarily.
HOLIDAY REUNION is the ninth book in the Dukes of War series. (There are two number eights.) This special bonus epilogue allows us to revisit many of our old friends during the Christmas season. It should only be read if you have read the rest of the series.
I loved not only meeting the new generation, but the ribald teasing amongst this wonderful group of friends. The story was a short, but sweet reunion and the beginning of a new tradition. Every Christmas should be this much fun.
Note: While I received this book as a gifted ARC, my opinions are my own and are given freely.

A short but sweet bonus epilogue to the Dukes of War series. The majority of the couples meet at the home of the Duke of Ravenswood to dress his Christmas tree before going to the Annual Sheffield ball. It was lovely to catch up with each of the couples & to meet their children & to learn how each couple felt about each other after a few years of marriage. If you’ve read the rest of the series you’ll love this
My honest review is for a special copy I voluntarily read
What a delightful way to catch up on the lives of the Dukes of War that I enjoyed reading before.
Each one found the love of his life and their matches keep them on their toes!!!!
It has been awhile since I read ALL the Dukes of War series books but reading this has reminded me how much I enjoyed all of them. I might have to go back and read them all again. I enjoyed this little follow up on their love and personalities. Maybe Erica’s next series can be of the children.
Lovely! Full of laughter! Sweet new tradition!
