I was supposed to wipe the slate clean. New college. New state. New start. But even before my first class, I was already off on the wrong foot. At that frat party, it was me versus the most famous womanizer on campus, and I still don’t know who came out on top.I do know that when I found out Bobby Sullivan was joining me, my cousin, and his friends for our week-long holiday retreat, I should’ve … retreat, I should’ve listened to my gut. I knew it’d lead to trouble.
I just didn’t know what kind.
I tried to keep my distance from Bobby, but things didn’t exactly go according to plan. Before I knew what was happening, he had his hands on my waist and his mouth on my lips.
And what’s worse, I let him.
Now we’re doing far more than kissing, and I’m feeling far, far more for Bobby than a smart girl should.
Especially when he’s made it perfectly clear: this is as far as this thing can go. When this trip is over, so are we. Because forever is not in the cards for us.
It can’t be.
HOLIDAY HEAT is a standalone, contemporary/new adult romance in the Firework Girls Series.

The Firework Girls series has been a great heartfelt series with wonderful characters and raw emotions and this new book is no exception. Sophie is a young woman who has moved across the country to get away from home and Bobby, a young man with a secret heart of gold afraid to allow anyone into his heart for fear he’ll lose someone else he loves. This was an emotional and heartbreaking love story. Filled with heartache, tears, doubts, healing, concerned, meddling friends and family, flirtatious banter, wit, sass, steamy passion, and love. A wonderfully romantic and emotional holiday story about overcoming fears to allow the person you love into your heart. A fantastic story that I absolutely loved.

A great holiday read! Younger characters in college. Sexy, hot and sweet! Loved the ending!! Bobby and Sophie forever!
It was well worth the time to read. The story was riveting, had you quite entranced from beginning to end as the characters takes you through their challenges.
What happens on the holiday will stay on the holiday he tells her. Even with his hands all over her but she wants more than the holiday. Can she show him they are made for each other for more than the holiday? See how they get on

This was a sweet Christmas read. I love getting a little insight to the other characters from the series. I highly recommend the series.
This book was a real page turner with the great character and storyline development which grabbed my interest from the very first page and wouldn’t let me go until the very last page was turned!
Holiday Heat is a sweet holiday romance and part of the Firework Girls series. I enjoyed Sophie and Bobby’s story and I love their chemistry. My favorite part of the book is that the whole Firework Girls gang meet for a week long Christmas vacation in one of my favorite places Sun Valley, Idaho. I am looking forward to reading more books about this fun group.
My favorite authors have one thing in common-they pull you into a story from the first page and you don’t want to put the story down.
Jordyn White is great at this and this story is no different!
This story has great characters, more of the Fireworks Girls-which is always a good idea, a great story and it takes place at Christmas! What else do you need? Buy this book! Grab your hot cocoa and a warm fuzzy blanket and start reading it ASAP.

As always, I was pulled into the story immediately and couldn’t put it down until the end. It’s a quick but satisfying read. I continue to be a huge fan of Jordyn White. Book five in the Firework Girls series is Sophie and Bobby’s story of starting off with Sophie not liking him a book with ups and downs. A story I enjoyed reading. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Sophie’s new start at a new college gets off to a bang when she throws her beer at Hartman’s most notorious womanizer with the parting words, “Go fuck yourself, you sorry sack of shit.” And of course someone recorded it and now the video’s gone viral. When she finds out that same womanizer is going to be at the week long ski trip she’s going on with her cousin Jack and his wife Sam (from Nuclear Heat), and their friends, she’s less than thrilled. But she soon finds that Bobby is not really the jackass she had thought, so it’s easy to allow herself to indulge in their mutual attraction. She’ll need to guard her heart, though, because Bobby is quick and adamant to inform her that it’s just for the week and just casual, that he doesn’t do love or relationships. Sigh…
This is an age old trope, but Jordyn does it well and without nearly the ott drama that can be so prevalent in NA and YA romance. I really ended up liking Sophie and Bobby together. They’re both sweet and not without their own baggage, but I like how they worked through it. OK, I may have wanted to scream at Bobby a little when he pulled his bonehead move, but aside from that, I found him sweet. Sophie is the real star, though. She’s sweet and feisty, and her joy while exploring the Hemingway monument was just plain adorable. This is probably the best of the Fireworks Girls series so far – I can’t wait for more.
A sweet and romantic well written romance perfect for the holidays. The storyline was intriguing with emotional twists and turns captivating me page after page in this heartfelt story. It has engaging strong characters that had a great connection, and awesome sexy chemistry with hilarious internal dialogue.

Sophie is Jack’s cousin (read Nuclear Heat to see Jack get his HEA) and she is now going to the same college. Her roommate Melissa is devasted that her boyfriend dumped her and she doesn’t know why so they attend a frat party so Melissa can try and talk to him. She asks Sophie to go over there to get him to meet with Melissa outside. When Sophie goes over there, she meets Bobby who has been giving Melissa and her scowls as he doesn’t want his friend to have anything to do with Melissa as he found out she is just a gold digger. Sparks fly between Bobby and Sophie with Sophie ending up tossing her beer all over Bobby. Course these days, anything that is done will go viral on social media. Then Jack and the crew are going to a ski resort and Jack invites Sophie. Sophie thinks it will do her some good to get away from the drama. Once there she realizes Bobby is there too. Don’t want to give too much away as you need to read this book. Lots of humor, sexy sneaking around and angst with someone not wanting to open their heart. Absolutely recommend this book and her whole Firework Girls series. This author is one of my favorites as I am not ever disappointed in her stories.

I loved this book. It was a wonderful story that kept me turning the pages. It was filled with passion and romance. I voluntarily read and reviewed this book in exchange for a free copy.
Loved! Sweet and romantic for the holiday season, but the chemistry is oh so hot between these two. Sophie’s internal dialogue is hilarious and brave, just loved her: “No wonder he’s the most famous womanizer on campus. He just womanized the f___ out of me and all I want to know is if there will be a Lurid Night of Sex Number Two.” Bobby the Hartman Hottie lives up to his name of course, but there is so much more to him than his reputation suggests. Loved every sentence.
