New author to me. I really enjoyed the bit of angst and that it was a page turner. Also solo romantic.
A delightful holiday story!
I enjoyed this book, a nice Christmas story. I would recommend it
Love a good Christmas story.
Very good read!
Enjoyed it all
I enjoyed this book very much. The two main characters were realistic with definite ideas of romance and love. Ben and Eve are friends big Eve has deeper feelings for Ben though he sees her only as a friend. Eve loves Christmas and id delighted with the season. Ben has no aspirations of Christmas and the joys it could bring. Eve is from a loving family and Ben’s parents were separated when he was young. His parents live very materialistic lives and show little love for their son. Ben is a young, promising surgeonwith dreams of pursuing his career. A friend of theirs, a widower with a young child is injured and has to have surgery a few days before Christmas. Eve takes on the responsibility of taking care of his young daughter and enlists Ben’s help so the child can have a happy Christmas. Through the majic of the holidays and the eyes of a child, Eve and Ben explore their relationship and find true love. This is a wonderful holiday story and I highly recommend it.
Good characters, good story.
This was the second book that I read by this author and I enjoyed it. Using Christmas as a basics for the storyline gave you a good feel about the characters. She wrote it so that you could see what the characters were going through. Excellent writing!!
Two best friends team up to make a little girl’s first Christmas without her mother special and discover they can make each other’s Christmas special too.
Eve Canaday has had a crush on Ben Tyler for quite some time. But she is afraid she will jeopardize their friendship if she were to tell him exactly how she felt.
Ben’s plans didn’t involve falling in love. His career as an orthopedic surgeon has always been his main focus. But lately he wants to do something more meaningful than just working at the hospital. He signed up for a medical mission in the jungles of Central America. But Ben’s plan is put on hold when a good friend has an accident putting Christmas lights on his house. Ben and Eve step up to take care of Malcolm’s little girl Lily while he is recovering in the hospital.
As Eve and Ben work together to make Lily’s Christmas the best ever, they discover themselves falling in love. But will it be enough to make Ben put his plans on hold and stay in Marietta with Eve?
This was a well thought out book with a lot great scenes. I just wish the ending had been a little bit longer. I felt it wrapped up too fast.
A thoroughly enjoyable book you will look forward to relaxing with. Enjoy!
A great romantic Christmas story!
This story was interesting with the story lines for the heroine and then the story of a love lost by a friend who she helps by caring for his young daughter. She does so alongside another friend of his. Both story lines are interesting and heartwarming as the two help with their friends young daughter as her dad recovers in the hospital. Good story.
Eve and Ben help their friend who gets hurt trying to give his daughter a Christmas to remember on the instruction of his dead wife. With the magic of Christmas as well as help from others they go on a quest that will make this a memorable Christmas for all.
The author did a great job bringing the 2 people together to make the holiday special for a deserving child
I normally don’t read historical fiction, but once I read this book I had to get the whole set! I learned interesting facts while reading her books.
Great story.
A very sweet and beautiful Christmas story with lots of heart. I enjoyed this book so much I read this in one sitting.
The third book in The Canadays of Montana series a well written Christmas story that kept me turning pages. This time it is event planner Eve Canaday and her secret crush, Dr. Ben Tyler’s story. A man that is afraid to love and because of his Dad thinks he has to live up to his standards. I enjoyed seeing this story come together. This is a new Author to me, I want to read the rest of the books in this series.
