When three best friends decide to stretch their wings and revamp the local airport in small-town Haven, Georgia, the destination is laughter and love . . . Jade McKenzie left her high-society family’s expectations behind when she came back to cozy Haven, and she’s never been happier. But what’s supposed to be a quick trip to Nashville for a cousin’s wedding turns into a disaster when one of the … disaster when one of the airport’s pilots offers to fly her there. One crash landing and a shared room later, and tattooed, bearded Cash Miller is standing in as her gorgeously unsuitable plus-one—and turning her on in ways she can’t deny. But a relationship? A real one? That’s definitely in the no-fly zone.
Vincent “Cash” Miller doesn’t have much in the world, but he does have pride—and a strict policy not to let anyone trash-talk his friends, not even their mothers. Standing up for sexy, headstrong Jade comes naturally—but so does the bone-deep itch for her he’s always wanted to scratch. Giving in to attraction is one thing, but commitment is another. So why does it feel like together, love might take them to breathtaking heights?

This was a good read! The writing flowed well from start to finish, and I loved Cash and Jade together. They had great chemistry! The banter back and forth between them was the right amount of snarky without being mean. I did get annoyed at Jade quite a few times with her pretending nothing was going on with Cash. I didn’t blame Cash for feeling the way he did. I felt like things with Jade’s mom were resolved too easily. It was kinda like okay, we’re good, after years of treating her like crap. I was happy to see Jade and Cash get their HEA. This was a first for me from this author, but I will be reading her again!
I voluntarily reviewed an advanced readers copy of this book.
THIS BOOK I could hardly put it down! The Angst, the chemistry & tension between Cash & Jade was crazy fun & sexy! Every book in The Series got better if that was even possible because each of the 3 heroines has such fun strong storylines & each were so beautifully written ! Excellent story that has these two sneaking around hiding their fling during a wedding & hometown area where they work and live near other friends who are helping the airport expand in the community. Great job wrapping things up with some of the Monroe series friends!
This is a fun, sexy, emotionally thrilling romantic journey filled with interesting charters, laugh out loud moments and heartwarming twists…. was a great read from beginning to end. Really enjoyed this visit back to Haven and looking forward to the next.
I enjoyed returning to Haven, in book 3 of the series. Even though this book could be read as a stand alone, I would highly recommend reading books 1 & 2 in the series before reading this one. This time it’s Jade’s turn to find love, which she does with someone she has known for a long time, Cash. They were in school together as kids but weren’t friends back then. Her family had certain expectations for her. Cash is working as a pilot now & Jade needs him to fly her to a wedding. When they have an unexpected landing they have time to get to know each other better & re-evaluate how they feel about each other. This is a story of hope, of finding that one special person.
Terrific conclusion to the series. Jade was happy to leave her snooty family behind and return to her hometown with her two best friends. She’s much happier in Haven than she was in Atlanta. In Haven, Jade teaches yoga and does public relations for the airport that she and the others are renovating. If she butts heads with Cash now and then, well, that keeps life interesting. Cash is one of the pilots and cousin to Jade’s best friends’ husbands. He is quite the flirt and has a reputation with women. Jade isn’t too happy when he’s the only pilot available to get her to a family wedding, but she’ll put up with him if she must.
Engine trouble and a crash landing have Jade seeing a different side of Cash. And when he offers to stand in as her “plus one” for the wedding, she takes him up on it. Cash may not fit in with the rest of the crowd at the wedding, but he has his own set of standards. One thing he doesn’t put up with is anyone putting down his friends. When Jade’s mother starts in on her, Cash can’t stop himself from standing up for her.
I loved the development of the relationship between Jade and Cash. The sparks have been flying between them since the beginning of the series, and in this book they burn out of control. The weekend in Nashville brings those sparks to a head, and the fire between them is nearly out of control. Both of them are shocked by the strength of their passion and agree that what happened in Nashville, stays in Nashville. That doesn’t last more than a couple of days after they return to Haven and can’t stop thinking about each other. However, neither wants a relationship, nor do they want their friends thinking that something is going on between them, so they agree to keep their time together secret.
There were times I wanted to shake them both. Both have issues that make them hesitant to open their hearts to another person. Jade’s recent breakup with a cheating boyfriend has her reluctant to trust another man. Her upbringing has made her wary of strong emotions. Cash was lied to and cheated on by his ex-wife affecting his willingness to trust. Besides Jax and Tanner, the only family Cash has is his alcoholic father, with whom has a difficult relationship. Both of them keep their emotions buttoned-up, reluctant to share those things that show their vulnerabilities. When they feel the other person getting too close, each finds a way to push the other away emotionally though their physical closeness continues to grow. Jade also has trouble believing that anything between them will last, and Cash believes that the gap between them is too wide.
Nothing can stop the feelings that continue to grow between them. I loved Jade’s worry over Cash when he got sick, and Cash’s appearance at Jade’s hot yoga class was a riot. Things move along quite well for them, and Cash is ready to take the next step when trouble appears in the shape of Jade’s mother. I ached for Jade, as in her panic, she says things that hurt Cash deeply. Cash’s pain was evident as all the dreams he’d been spinning came crashing down. I loved how their friends helped them work through their troubles and see that they belonged together. The ending was sweet and romantic and perfect for both of them.
I liked seeing more of the couples from the previous books, and also from the Monroe brothers series. The relationship between Cash and his cousins is a good one, and their support of each other is terrific. Jade’s relationship with her two friends is as close as sisters, and I loved the scenes they had together. There are some funny times as Jade and Cash try to keep their activities secret and their friends stumble on things that make them suspicious.
What great main characters. I adored them both! There were so different from each other but still they also kept finding some things that they were alike or at least similar. Both of them were also so deep in the Denial Trench that they could barely see other the rim! You know that Denial Trench about this being just a fling.
They had some really good support from close friends that they shared. Of course, they are hiding and lying to those same beloved friends (and some family) so that they can keep things secret.
Another part of the story was the fact that each one of the friends including Jade and Cash were building something great together. Something that would not only keep Haven, Georgia alive but to cause it to grow and prosper.
Something that I found interesting but didn’t really understand at first was Jade’s asking people close to her “would you rather ___or would you rather___? She offered up two options with those questions. It seemed odd to me at first until I realized it was a childhood coping measure. She called it the “would you rather game.” After seeing her interactions with her domineering mother I could see why she needed it.
I ended up enjoying this book. The snarky interactions when Cash was pushing “Red’s” buttons were often funny. Man, she hated being called Red and he knew it but didn’t back off about it either. He wasn’t being mean but they really did annoy each other. They just hadn’t realized that there was more to it than that.
The emotional challenges were easy to understand and I liked the way the story ended.

4 1/2 STARS!
HOLD ON TO ME is book three in Jules Bennett’s Return to Haven series and centers around a Pilot/Gym Owner and public relations whirlwind joining forces to not only revamp the airport that means so much to their group of friends, but also a hookup or two on the sly! This yummy enemies to lovers story is sure to entice.
If you’ve been reading this series from the start, you will recognize the setting of Haven, George as well as the airport that three best friends got hooked on seeing succeed. Two of them have already fallen for the loves of their lives, and now it’s Jade’s turn to settle in for the long haul. With a close-knit group like this, we always get a feel for what’s going on in the previous couples lives as the new couple starts to evolve.
I highly recommend this book to anyone looking for a small town romance centering around a group of best friends. You can’t go wrong with any of the three books in this series as each couple has been well developed and very satisfying.
This is the first book that I have read from this author and I am glad that I took the chance. This is book 3 of the Return to Haven series but can be read as a standalone. Cash and Jade were great characters. They were not friends but they weren’t enemies. They basically just tolerate each other. Jade is traveling to Nashville to be a bridesmaid for her cousin but on the way, disaster happens and now they are stuck together. They have to figure out how to co-exist with each other just until they can get to the wedding. Once at the wedding, Jade will need Cash again. This was a fun story and I am going to read the other two books in the story just because this one was so much fun.
I received an ARC of this book from NetGalley and I am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
4 ½ stars for this return to Haven. Jade and Cash have no idea how to be near each other without butting heads. They see each other and just have to argue, banter or leer. Neither wants to accept the fact that they are wildly attracted to the other. When Jade needs Cash to fly her to a family wedding she has to put aside whatever feelings she has for him temporarily. They agree to disagree and deal with close quarters in the plane, oh well until that emergency landing.
Jade has been trying to live up to some dream of a perfect daughter her mother has for her. Nothing she does is ever good enough for her adopted mother. Oh yea, she was adopted which didn’t help the situation at all. Now she is on her way to this disastrous wedding, which has her wearing an orange gown (clash city with her flame red hair) and down a date since her boyfriend decided he was interested in someone else now. Having to be in such close proximity with the uber sexy Vincent “Cash” Miller has her ready to explode.
Cash has been harboring his crush for Jade McKenzie for a while now. She was a little older than him back in school and then she left town for a while. They get on about as well as oil and water but he loves to verbally spar with her. It gets his blood flowing. Having to fly her to this wedding from hell sounds just up his alley. And finding out she needs a date is icing on the cake. They agree to put on a ruse to fool her family, and shock them a little (he isn’t a country club poster boy by any means). And it works, a little too well.
Cash and Jade seem opposite on the outside but inside they couldn’t be more perfect for each other. They have deeper feelings than they’d ever admit to and keep themselves closed off to keep their hearts safe. Can they find a way to navigate this new normal within the close group of friends?
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advance copy without expectations. I love getting to catch up with the Haven crew. Not sure if another book is coming down the pipeline but I can’t wait to see who’s story is up next.
Jade has to go to Nashville to attend a wedding where she has to be a bridesmaid. She hates it, she doesn’t want to be near to her high society family, what worse she just broke up with her boyfriend.
Cash is a pilot and he is going to fly her to Nashville, but something goes wrong and they crash.
When they get to Nashville, Jade is lying to her family that Cash is her boyfriend.
What happen when the lines between lie and truth become blurry?
Loved this story, awesome characters.
Hold on to Me, by author Jules Bennett is a wonderful read! This third book in the Return to Haven series gives the love story of pilot/gym owner Vincent “Cash” Miller and Jade Mackenzie, a graduate of Haven but a woman expected to be a part of her high-society family life, who has returned to Haven.
Jade and Cash have known each other for years, and are working together to revamp the airport. They are definitely not friends, but are stuck together for a flight she has to take to a wedding. He is her pilot…whether she likes it or not. After saving her life, she re-evaluates her relationship with him.
This book is so good! I love this series, the characters (main and supporting), the author, the storyline…all of it! I completely felt this book! My husband was up flying when I read the beginning, and could personally picture the airplane malfunction. Later in the story, I felt my heart completely sink when Jade has to make a decision on what comes out of her mouth…heartbroken!!! This enemies-to-lovers book has heat, lies, betrayal, drama, family issues, friends, and pilots! I totally recommend it with 5 flying stars! Absolutely LOVED it!!!
4 1/2 stars. I really enjoyed this 3rd book in this series. I am happy to have found this author last year. Even though it’s been a while since Book 2 came out, they are all stand-alone stories so that’s not really a problem. Characters from the previous books are in this one because they are all friends, but you don’t have to have read the others, although you should they were great! This story warmed my heart, it’s just a a nice easy read. I loved the evolution of Cash and Jade’s relationship and really of Cash and Jade’s characters. I was totally on board with them morphing their relationship to new levels. They both grew so much throughout the book with help from each other and their friends and are just perfect for each other. Their chemistry was off the charts but of course they ignored it for a long time until something happens that forces them together for a couple days and they realize how much they want each other physically. And this changes everything they thought about each other, relationships and their lives forever.
Thank you to The publisher and Netgalley for this ARC.
So I did read the first book and this book in the trilogy. Even though all of the characters popped up in here, it is a true standalone and I didn’t feel like I was missing anything.
I thought this was an ok read. I think I was expecting more from the initial airplane emergency landing setting like I wanted a bit more of a survival read. I think that would have made the story interesting for me. The main couple does come from different backgrounds so you see that “opposites attract” trope. Love this cover though.
I received this book at my request and have voluntarily left this unbiased review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.
We are back in Haven with the three girlfriends who have made the town their home, and who, with the help of three men who are cousins, are revitalizing the local airport. An airport that had belong to one of the girlfriends.
This time the story belongs to Cash Miller and Jade Mackenzie. They are part of the group but always seem at odds with each other.
Things change when on the way to flying Jade to her cousin’s wedding, they bound after an accident they miraculously survived.
Both of these characters carry a great deal of hurt, and baggage. Their individual childhood and the people that were suppose to love and support them but didn’t. That has molded them and affected them as adults. Fears of a relationship and of not being good enough, are not things either think they can really have.
It’s a story about finding that special person. About being willing to take a chance at love, and overcoming one’s fears . A touching story about hope, and love.
Kudos to the author for another winner in this series.
I was entrusted a copy of this book by Netgalley. The opinions expressed are solely my own.

I look forward to reading more from this author.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC from NetGalley.
This is the third in the return to Haven Series centering around friends Livie, Melanie and Jade. They were childhood friends who all moved back to their hometown, Haven Georgia. Livie and Melanie have already found their happily ever after. Jade left a high powered job and high society family, in Atlanta after being sexually harassed. She settled with her old company and is teaching yoga while trying to figure out her life. Cash Miller and Jade constantly push each other’s button. Both of them have a lot of issues that make them keep people at arms length. What starts as a secret fling becomes more, but will their pasts’ get in the way? I really loved Cash, he is a great character. In the first two books of the series, I had real problems with the female protagonists, not the case in this book. Jade is a great combination of tough, but wounded heroine. This is a nice ending to this series. I received an ARC of this book from NetGalley for my honest review.
