Her boss is all about control. She’s all about passion. Well, not that kind of passion.Owen Manning is renowned for his cold brilliance and tech savvy. If there’s such a thing as a quintessential billionaire geek, he’s it. Ivy Nash is his newest recruit—brilliant and beautiful, she takes his breath away and tempts him beyond reason. Losing control isn’t something he does. Ever.Except when it … does. Ever.
Except when it comes to Ivy.
Ivy is passionate about her career and not much else. Engineering is her life and her first love. The last thing she expects is to take one look at Owen and almost melt at his feet.
Forbidden desire burns fast and hot between them. One kiss nearly sends them up in flames. They each have their own reasons for wanting to keep their distance, so they make a deal. They’ll give into the madness and let it run its course. Because of course it will. Neither one of them is prepared for the fire between them to singe their hearts.

This was a wonderful read and it’s free!!!!
Ivy Nash has been through hell at the hands of her boss at the university. Finally filing a formal complaint with HR. Now she has the amazing opportunity to work for “Off The Grid” and Owen Manning. She just has to figure out how to do that when the chemistry between them blows her away.
Since losing his parents while in college, Owen has sworn off any kind of relationship, not willing to allow himself to care too much. Then in walks Ivy and has him completely confused by his feelings for her.
When Ivy’s old boss starts causing problems, Owen is forced to realize just how much she means to him. The question is, did he wait too long, is it too late now that she has given her intent to resign?
I loved Owen & Ivy’s story so much! It was sexy, hot, steamy and intellectual all at the same time! Check it out today!
Coming Home
This is a wonderful story. Hannah ius finally home after finishing her degree in MA and dealing with the loss of her parents 2 years before. Her best friend Suzie is there, but there is a new man in the neighborhood. He comes with a dog. Jessie was found by Luke and his brothers but they were going to be gone for two weeks on their boat. Man, dog, friend, bring 2 people together.
Easy read and decent addition to the
Last Frontier lodge franchise.
Loved the concept of 2 engineers getting together. I especially like the inscription of the ring (brilliant).
Hold Me Close offers a steamy romantic look at the Alaskan frontier. Being threatened by an college professor to succumb to his sexual advances, Ivy escapes to the beautiful ski resort on the Alaskan shore where her brother works. Being an brilliant engineer with expertise in research, she readily joins the wildcat firm, Off the Gird. The standoffish CEO, Owen poses no threat to her well-being. That is until they touch and can’t seen to get enough of each other. Not even Owen’s motto to love no one is enough to keep them apart. Ms. Croix has written a well written piece that is relevant to modern times.
I love following the characters in Croix’s books. Her descriptions of Alaska are amazing and make me want to go visit. The story of Ivy and Owen had so many interesting twists and turns that it kept me turning pages. Always love a happy ending and I can see more books in our future.
Another of Croix’s Alaskan set novels. Her writing transported me onto the Ski fields at Diamond Creek, where I caught up with many characters from the series. A happy ever after that makes me want to visit in real life!
Love this

I have fallen in love with J.H. Croix’ town, Diamond Creek, Alaska and the Last Frontier Ski Lodge! The people are delightful, yet so real and down to earth. She makes me wish i lived there.
Great read
Love all the Ketchikan books!!
It was nice to read about an accomplished woman engineer who finds love in Alaska with a kindred spirit.
I have enjoyed this whole series of books and all the character’s that created the series.
Shows that life expectations are not always what we expect regardless of how smart one might be in education and goals we sometimes learn the hard way that we cannot control the feelings of the heart no matter how smart the mind is… a very enjoyable read.
Love this series, I have read all of them. Love the family theme runn No through the whole series.
Love anything by this author!
