Not realistic enough.
enough action to keep one interested, a must read for anyone who is taken with the Southwest.
Was not advertised as supernatural.
Characters were too unbelievable, especially the New York reporter. I usually love story that incorporate Native American beliefs, but to take a reporter to a ritual that he had spent years mastering was way too unbelievable-that’s where I quit.
I look forward to more about this character.
Hokee Wolf is indeed hokey, but none the less a fun read.
Interesting enough to finish the book in spite of the poor English. Run-on sentences galore.
Always been fascinated by Native American lore. I love the way the author wove in the ancient mystic with modern themes. Can’t wait to read other books in the series.
Good read. I want to read more of his adventures.
This was a somewhat different kind of book for me but I found Hokee to be an engaging character. I liked the story and the information a bit on the unusual side.
It was different from the usual crime fiction.
Well written, good pace and a very good plot. Would like to read more by this author.
A great read. Very entertaining and kept me not wanting to put it down. I will definitely read the other books by this author.
Couldn’t put it down. A great read!
Different. Enjoyed. Would read more by this author.
Too repetitive about paranormal experiences.
I was not amused when the hero referred to the native woman as a “squaw”
The title fits. Hokey, hokey, hokey. The hero is tall, dark and handsome–perfect in every way. The heroine is beautiful, intelligent, sexy–perfect in every way. Need I say more? I did give it two stars because occasionally there is a paragraph or two that is good writing.
Amateurish writing distracted from being able to follow the plot.
did not find this book very interesting
