I enjoyed it and hope to find more books from this author.
Lots of history in this book, loved it!
Couldn’t get interested in this one at all, so did not read more than 10 pages.
Really liked this book. Very good information about doppleganger. & loved about the sweat lodge & meditation
really didn’t like the characters – pretty shallow….
very enjoyable
I really had difficulty finishing the book. It really was not what I had expected.
This is difficult to get into at first, but stick with it…very entertaining.
The book was OK but definitely not in the same league with Tony Hillerman.
Good book. It took too long for the romance to kick in. Some of the hokus pokus was far fetched for me. But I liked the good characters.
Too far out!
I have an imagination but this book went beyond that….
unrealistic
Not for me.
Good book laced with American Indian mystic ideas and happenings.
I did really like this book
Loved the main character and his world.
Good book, but it started to drag by the end.
Interesting read. But no one who actually understands Native culture would never have a Native guy refer to a woman as a “squaw.”
Excellent job on the shamanism. Hokee ‘s underground palace was a bit too much for me, as was his disappointing, fumbling, stumbling relationship. I thought he was better than that…. Mere quibbles though. Read this one for fun–and a broad introduction to what can go on in non-ordinary reality
A great character build and steady read until the end. Makes me want another one!
