Hitching the Cowboy is the second book in the Circle B Ranch series. This is Riley and Zoey’s story.
Riley is a sweet hardworking cowboy who loves his family dearly. When on a trip to Vegas things get a little crazy and he accidentally gets married. From they very first time he saw Zoey, there was already something pulling him to her and he couldn’t deny it.
Zoey is the black sheep of her family. Whereas her family are doctors—she’s a hairdresser. She has a passion for adventure so, maybe when in Vegas for her sister’s bachelorette party, maybe she’ll find some. But never did she think that meant she end up getting married.
Riley and Zoey’s relationship is anything but normal. They must figure out if they want to stay married despite not knowing each other that well. It’s not hard for Riley to show how much he feels for Zoey. It takes Zoey time, but in the end it’s no denying Riley brings her happiness.
Hitching the Cowboy was a sweet, swoony, and entertaining romance. And I’m looking forward to the rest of the books in the Circle B Ranch series.
It was so fun visiting the ranch again!
I love Kennedy Fox’s COWBOYS! They have gone and done it again – taken me by surprise and written my next favorite book by them! This is the second book in the Circle B Ranch series, but is a complete standalone!
Riley Bishop. SWOON. I can’t get over how much I love his story. But, party time leads to some stress this time and the story could not be more entertaining! Enter, Zoey. This story was fun, entertaining, and fast paced! I loved every second of this twisty plot about what happens in Vegas… and how it NEVER stays there! I love how this story tied up and getting updates on some of my other Bishop faves didn’t hurt!
NO SPOILERS!
Hitching the Cowboy was a sweet, sexy, swoon-worthy, and entertaining standalone contemporary romance in the Circle B Ranch series. I really liked the storyline and characters Kennedy Fox created, and I enjoyed coming back to Texas and seeing the Bishops and other familiar faces again. I loved Riley and Zoey, as well as most of the secondary characters. Riley and Zoey were a great match for each other, and I enjoyed reading their whirlwind love story. I didn’t love every aspect of Hitching the Cowboy, and there were a few frustrating and annoying parts here and there, but I was more than happy with the conclusion and look forward to reading more books in the Circle B Ranch series.
This book is full of giggles and swoon moments that will keep you on your toes. I loved Riley and seeing how he has grown up. Then you have Zoey who was a wildcard in his life but their connection was so deep that you couldn’t help but root for them. Especially after waking up like they did in Vegas. But as they go through the paces, you find that these two are really meant for each other but there is always that monkey wrench tossed in. My heart broke for these two when that massive twist was thrown in. I understood what Zoey did. And I felt Riley’s reaction.
Overall, this book is a brilliant addition to the Bishop family that it makes me excited to see more! I love the push and pull, the drama, and those sizzling moments! I loved everything about it!
Holy cowboy! I need a Riley. Loved reading Zoey and Riley’s story. It was fun, and sweet and downright dirty. But it also involves family, the one you are born with and the one you choose who support you through everything even when they don’t agree. I couldn’t stop reading and I might have ignored my family until I was done with this. I can’t say I regret it. It’s the perfect-feel good story with a great ending. I now can’t wait to see what happens with Rowan and diesel
I absolutely adore second generation stories and this one just got added to the list! I loved everything about this storyline from their first meet to the adorable epilogue. All of the characters were loveable, and it was great reuniting with the first generation. Zoey is a tough, independent woman and Riley was a tough man but showed such a fantastic soft side. They’re chemistry was hot but my favorite part was just their ability to be laid back and themselves with each other. Everything was just perfect!!
Hitching The Cowboy
There is nothing better than a dirty talking cowboy who falls fast, loves hard and sweeps you off your feet and it would seem that the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree where Riley Bishop is concerned.
This was an amazing read! I was so happy to delve back into the world of the Circle B Ranch and get reacquainted with the Bishop family. I mean a family filled with hot, sweaty cowboys, covered in muscles and wearing Stetsons “swoon” right on the spot and not only that but they have hot friends too!! What are they putting in the water down there in Eldorado,Texas. They are also absolutely hilarious. I love their banter with each other. They never stop ripping on each other and playing their tricks and dares. The new generation, Riley and his best friend Diesel are continuing this tradition.
It all started with a dare!!
Riley and Diesel head to Vegas to celebrate Diesel’s birthday. They are having an amazing time letting loose and being carefree, then Riley spots her across a crowded club. Insta-spark! Then by fortune Riley and Diesel run into the mysterious girl and her friends how are in Vegas for a bachelorette party. They tag along with the girls for their last night in Sin City. Riley and his connection to the girl aka Zoey grows and deepens, their kiss is electric and ignites a fire neither has experienced before. Waking up to each other and discovering your married was not what either expected.
It all ends with a dare.
Zoey is trying to be two people. The outgoing free spirit she naturally is and the good girl struggling to please her parents. The pressure of trying to please them becomes too much and Zoey seeks and escape. She runs to Texas in the hopes to see if her connection to Riley was on a whim or are the feelings she felt in Vegas real.
In true Kennedy Fox style Hitching The Cowboy is loaded with romance, angst and suspense. The ride you get on when you risk your heart for a Bishop Cowboy is not one for the faint hearted but you can be sure that those boys will bring you to your knees in a heartbeat. Yee-haw! Welcome back to the Circle B ranch!!!
I am absolutely loving this series!!! Fox sure knows how to hook you straight from the start and keep you turning the pages because you can’t wait to see what this amazing group of characters will do next!
Waking up married in Vegas was not how Riley and Zoey planned for their weekend to go but I fell for Riley immediately for how he handled himself when he realized what they had done. I also couldn’t help but love Zoey for the same reason. These two have instant chemistry and you can’t help but root for them. I loved them together and couldn’t put their story down.
I highly recommend you take a trip to Circle B Ranch. You are sure fall in love with these characters.
This is the first book in the Circle B Ranch series. It is the next generation spin-off of the Bishop Brothers series. It is a stand alone, but Riley sure does take after his dad.
What happens in Vegas, doesn’t always stay in Vegas.
Who would have thought a drunken dare from your best friend would end up with you married to someone you just met.
I loved Riley and Zoey.
I do wish Zoey would have been completely honest and that she would have stood up to her parents sooner.
One thing was missing for me. I would have loved to see Zoey’s parents apologize and meet the Bishop’s instead of just being told that it happened.
This was a great read!
What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas except when it doesn’t . Riley is a sexy as sin cowboy letting loose with his best friend Diesel – love me their bromance! Zoey is a hairdresser unable to live up to her parents expectations and needing to escape from her reality. The two meet in Las Vegas and in true Vegas fashion end up drunk and married. Coming from two different worlds forces Zoey to leave the city and go live in the country. I love how the two get to know one another and that their road to happily ever after is not an easy one, after all if it’s meant to be it’s meant to be and they will get there eventually. This was my first book by this incredible duo and it will not be my last as I have a whole slew of books to add to my TBR list so that I can catch up on all the Bishop family happenings. I’m happy to have received an ARC of this book that has me now fangirling over Kennedy Fox books.
Ladies AMAZING!!!! Riley and Zoey’s story was just perfect! When these two meet in Vegas sparks fly! Zoey always down for adventures is all in when Riley’s BF proposes a Vegas wedding as a bet. Waking up hitched but needing to get back to the ranch Riley leaves Zoey with the hopes that she will call him. What happens next solidified that what he felt obviously wasn’t mutual or so he thought. Seeing his blushing Vegas bride at the BB just might mean there is a chance. Take this ride with Riley & Zoey I promise you will love it. It will give you all the feels and have you begging for more.
Kennedy Fox has nailed the small town cowboy romance feel in Hitching The Cowboy. It was completely swoonworthy and hundred percent sexy. I loved the chemistry between Zoey and Riley so much!
Zoey and Riley got married by “accident” while both were on trip to Vegas with friends. Now the sensible decision would be listening to the old proverb of what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. But Zoey got upset with her controlling parents and decide to take a chance. So she arrived at the Texas ranch where Riley lives and works with his big , nosy and amazing family. And after spending time with him, they both realize they are not ready to end their marriage. But Zoey’s past is going to come between them. Will Zoey face her fears and stand up for her dreams?
I loved Riley so hard. A gorgeous, sexy and charming man with a golden heart. Zoey is a sweet and adorable woman. I feel total respect and awe for her constant struggle to live life in her way in spite of her always criticising parents. Their chemistry started with electrifying physical attraction but they soon feel a connection in their soul. Riley’s big hearted and accepting family makes Zoey feel like she has found what she has been looking always. And Riley loves how the city girl adopts his life style wholeheartedly. And oh my heart, my favorite part was the big Bishop family with their colorful personalities and the whole small town ambiance. I felt at home and swoony immediately. And I cannot wait to read Diesel’s story.
Hitching The Cowboy by Kennedy Fox is one big love fest all the way. Love between lovers. Connection between friends. Bonding among family. A beautiful and sweet love story.

If you liked the Bishop Brothers series, you’ll love that the authors are taking us back to the Circle B ranch. (All stories are standalone and do not need to be read in any particular order to enjoy.)
While waking up “accidentally” married isn’t relatable to me at all, thousands of couples a year prove me wrong. Riley and Zoey ending up married on a dare both complicates and strangely completes their lives. Deciding to give their quickie marriage an actual shot is exactly what they both needed. Falling in love was easy, almost too easy but you know what they say, marriage is complicated. Especially, when there’s more to the story and well, three’s a crowd.
Seeing as I loved all the Bishop books, I was excited about a new spin off series to the Bishop Brothers stories. The authors did us proud with this next generation of Bishops. Riley (and Diesel) were hilarious and sexy and Zooey was a great match for him. It was great seeing the whole family again and I can’t wait for more (especially “bonus son” Diesel’s story)!

The new/next generation of Bishops starts with a bang!!!
Riley is on a birthday trip with his best friend Diesel to Vegas and some of the antics that happen are hilarious. I was laughing out loud with all they did. Riley though is like all the other Bishop men and very loyal. Oh, and when they know what they want they go after it. He also knows that what he has with Zoey is his forever. However, does Zoey feel the same?
Zoey is on a Vega trip with her sister. The girls are a little more tame then the boys however, what happens in Vegas doesn’t really stay there. What can one little bet change?
Will Zoey and Riley make it work or will Zoey cave to her family?
Their chemistry is off the charts and Riley is so swoon worthy. Kennedy Fox has set the bar high for cowboy books with the Bishop family and this book upholds to those standards. I can’t wait to read the next book.
5 When Destiny Delivers What You Didn’t Know You Were Looking For Stars!!!
There’s nothing I didn’t love about this first in this new series by Kennedy Fox. We’re going back to the Circle B ranch, getting a full dose of all the Bishops and get to experience a true opposites attract love story.
Riley and his BFF Diesel are in Vegas for a Bachelor Party on the same weekend that Zoey is there for the same reason and when they spot each other in the bar one night neither one suspected they’d be seeing so much more of each other before their trip was over!!
While this story is somewhat of a slow burn, it was utterly delicious to see these two try to make their surprise marriage work. Riley is a true Bishop in that he’s working on the Ranch, is very close to his family and is a cowboy through and through. Zoey is a city girl that isn’t following the path her parents have set for her so when she’s given an opportunity to “escape” she takes it and runs with it all the way back to small town Texas and the Circle B Ranch!!
One of the things that had me constantly smiling or laughing is Riley and Diesel’s trying to one-up each other with their bets…course that’s how Zoey ended up being a Bishop. This book is full of all the things I love about Kennedy Fox’s writing….friendship, love, family and laugh out loud sassiness at all the right moments!
I cannot wait for the next book which is Diesel and Rowan’s story…and those two are going to be a hoot!
I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie’s Book Reports.

This is the first full length book in the Circle B Ranch Series from Kennedy Fox. I was so excited about this book. Who doesn’t love a cowboy and the Circle B Ranch. It is so amazing to be back with the Bishop brothers and all their friends and seeing how things are now. This is the story or Zoey and Riley. Riley and Diesel are on a trip to Vegas and you need to know that your going to be laughing a lot in this book. When Riley sees Zoey for the first time you know that something explosive is in the air for these two character’s. These two however wake up married which is a big old surprise to both of them. Now they have to separate for a while and Riley has to go back to the Ranch leaving Zoey in Vegas. Now she is at the ranch and has decided to give their marriage a real shot. This is all that Riley wants and he is over the moon so excited to see what their new life will be like. This is a love story of the land the family and between these two characters. It is simply amazing and magical and I devoured it and loved every single second of this book and hated to see this one end. I can not wait to have more books in this series and I am so so excited to have the next on in my hands.
This next generation of Bishops is my first introduction to this writing team, but you can bet I’ll be getting my cowboy on and catching up on what I’ve missed from the first generation of Bishops! I’m head over heels for every last one of them, from the grandparents to the great-grand children who have yet to be written!
I’ll admit, when I saw the ages of the main characters, I was a little concerned because, with young adult romance, the maturity level is always a gamble. Riley and Zoey, though, were authentic, believable and so endearing! Aside from the whole “I dare you to get married” thing (but I’m pretty sure the dares back and forth are a typical guy thing) their choices and reactions rang true, lead to growth for the characters and their relationship, and deepened my connection to them.
Full of delightful humor, steamy chemistry, enviable family relationships and tons of heart, Riley and Zoey’s story effortlessly hooked me in to the Circle B series and the big, rowdy, loveable Bishop family. I know there are a lot of YA fans and a lot of cowboy fans among romance readers, but even if you usually pass on those, I urge you to give this one a try. If these authors are new to you, as they were to me, I’m confident you’ll find your next must-read talent with Kennedy Fox.
This is the first book in the Circle B Ranch Series, the next generation of the Bishop Brothers Series. You can read this story as a standalone, but I guess it is better to read the entire Bishop Brothers Series in order, because the Bishop are amazing! I loved this sweet and fun story. Riley and Zoey are great character. Riley is handsome, hard working, caring, and loving. Riley is lovely, strong, and determined. I love the Bishop family! The secondary characters are great, and I would love to know more about them. The story has a great pace. Stephen Dexter and Lia Langola did an amazing job with the narration. I enjoyed it. (review updated with the audiobook version)
What happens in Vegas doesn’t always stay in Vegas, especially in the case of Riley and Zoey and a dare.
Riley and Zoey felt a connection on first sight, but it is Vegas, so the chances of running into someone random again is pretty low. However, in their case it happens and they spent a crazy 48 hours together that ends up with the two of them being married. The next morning they both return back to their home starts and decide they will stay in touch to figure out their next moves.
I LOVED Riley and Zoey. Their story was a wild ride and so much fun to read. They had so much chemistry and their entire relationship was super sweet. Riley is a true southern gentleman and you can’t help but swoon over him. I loved Zoey, too. She was the black sheep of her family. A hairdresser in a family full of doctors. Though, it did take her a bit to fight back against her rather controlling parents. But when she did, I was cheering for that girl!
I loved every single moment of this book. From Riley and Diesel’s crazy Vegas trip and all the shenanigans they got into there to being back on the Circle B Ranch and around the entire Bishop Family again. Whether you’ve met the Bishop Brother’s or not this is a complete standalone and A MUST READ!
Cowboy Romance | Accidental Marriage
Every time I read a novel by Kennedy Fox I come away from it feeling like I have made lifelong friends. Her characters are so relatable that it’s easy to connect with them and they all seem to share commonalities with their readers. While I have never accidentally got married like Zoey and Riley in Hitching the Cowboy, I did find everlasting love in the most uncommon and fateful ways like they did. Because of this, I felt a deep kinship with these characters and loved being a part of their journey as they navigated their new relationship.
One thing that I found most likable about this novel is the fact that neither Zoey or Riley were in a rush to annul their accidental marriage. In many romances within the trope you see characters scrambling to fix the mess they got into but that’s not the case here. These two decided to give it a try and see if they connection that they felt when they first met was real enough to endure a future of happiness. It’s things like this and really so much more, that makes Kennedy Fox one of my all time favorite authors. They truly know what their readers want and always manage to make their stories original.
Folks, I highly recommend anything by Kennedy Fox. Each book of theirs that I have read have been top favorites of mine. They can write sweet and funny or emotional and angsty – it doesn’t matter. Whatever trope or genre they decide to write in it’s ALWAYS good. This book is no exception although I do feel like I am falling a little harder for these Bishop boys… I can’t wait for the next book. I also cannot wait to dive into the original Bishop Brothers series because if those ones are anything like this one I know I am going to fall in love.
