Wedding bells are the last thing on twenty-two year old Riley Bishop’s mind, but that’s exactly what he hears after waking up in Vegas next to a woman he just met—his new wife. He never saw her coming, but she might be worth the risk.Zoey Mitchell is high on life, free spirited, and adventurous. However, learning she married a rowdy cowboy after a night of partying is not what she expected—even … what she expected—even for her.
She’s risking it all, gambling with her heart.
Deciding to give their instant marriage a chance, Zoey moves from her big city life to a small town Texas ranch. She has to know if their connection is based on more than just a wild one-night stand before announcing to her family that she got hitched.
One moment changes everything—for better or worse—and a secret could destroy them both.
This is a full-length stand-alone novel in the Circle B Ranch series and a spin-off from the Bishop Brothers series. You don’t need to read any of the other books beforehand to enjoy this one!

Got to love Accidental Marriage and Small Town Romance, plus the Swoon-worthy Bishop Men!
We finally get to see what happens with the next generation of Bishop’s and get the updates we have been wanting. I have been waiting for this series since reading the last Bishop Brother book!
First up is Riley, the oldest of the kids and let me tell you he just like his father’s (Alex Bishop); didn’t disappoint me in the least. Zoey was a breath of fresh air that was perfect for Riley. From the first chapter, I was hooked on these two.
Like every book I have read from this duo, their writing is a must-read and always makes me fall in love with the characters. I can’t wait to read more in this series or just anything Brooke and Lyra want to write.
So excited for the next generation! Riley and Zoey meet in Vegas and on a dare end up getting married! While there is definite chemistry between them, the realization of what they did the next morning hits them but there’s no time to talk about it because Riley has to catch his flight. Weeks later, Riley is served with divorce papers, and while reluctant to do so he signs them, only to be surprised when Zoey shows up at his doorstep wanting to explore where things could go between them. Zoey has always been the black sheep of her family, and even though her decisions have consequences, she wants to see where things go between them before calling it quits, so she travels to the Bishop ranch and gives things a go. This couple has such a great relationship it was such an easy book to read because of it! But when Zoey’s secrets come to light, it’s something that risks breaking them apart. Per usual with these authors, I loved the book and thanks to the secondary characters I can’t wait to get their stories either!
I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
This is the first book in the new series and for me is started off with a bang. I easily got lost in the book. One of my favorite things about this book is the humor. I found myself laughing quite often. I loved the ranch and Riley’s family. A lot of the humor involves Riley’s family. It makes you want to be part of them. Zoey and Riley have the true Vegas experience when they find themselves hitched. Though a little unconventional start for Riley and Zoey it leads to some thing potentially special. I’m really looking forward to more from this series with potential set up for future books.
I was so excited to be back on the ranch!! I can’t believe the kids have grown up!! If you read Taming Him – the first Bishop Brothers’ book – this is about Alex and River’s son, Riley!! It had all the same hilarious banter and feels as all the books before! This book starts off in Vegas, where an ‘accidental’ marriage takes place, and then back to the Ranch. I just LOVED Riley’s family and the way they included and loved on Zoey!! When these Bishops love they love BIG!! I can’t wait for the next story in the series!!
This was quick, fun and steamy read. I absolutely
love that KF is continuing the Bishop
legacy. Let me tell you, Riley most assuredly lives up to the Bishop name. Honestly I was hooked from the beginning of this one, an accidental Vegas dare wedding was so, hysterically, Alex Bishop. I loved reading about a sort of rebel female lead like Zoey, too. Zoey is refreshing in the “doesn’t fit the mold” kind of way and the chemistry sizzles off the pages. Another stellar read, another wonderful trip to Circle B
This was so good! I’m giving it 4 out of 5 stars. This review is for an ARC, and reflects my honest opinion.
The Bishop Brothers was one of my absolute favorite series to read, so continuing with this family was amazing. I remember when Riley wasn’t even born, and now he’s grown, and getting his own love story. I thought this was interesting, especially how it followed his parents’ relationship to a certain extent. While I liked Riley a lot, his dad and uncles hold a special place in my heart. I’d definitely still date him though! He was a sweetheart, and I loved the southern charm. Cowboy take me away…
My heart went out to Zoey; I can’t imagine dealing with parents like hers. They seemed to come around by the end of the book, but I still don’t like them. I was happy she got with Riley, and that his family welcomed her wholeheartedly. I want to be a Bishop, and without a doubt, I’d fight Mila for John. But anyways, back to this book. I thought these two meshed well together. Riley helped her work through some of her issues, and Zoey gave him a home that he never wanted to leave.
I can’t wait to see more from these characters, both old and new. Diesel was an unexpected delight; he made me laugh so much. I’m so excited to keep reading this series. I wouldn’t be mad if this duo of authors kept writing books about this family, and the many generation to come! I can’t get enough of the Circle B Ranch, and the people who live/work there.
Thank goodness for Kennedy Fox starting the Circle B Ranch serious because I need a new fix for my Bishop Boy addiction!
I absolutely loved revisiting everyone at the ranch and the fact that all the kids are grown ups now, ugh so nostalgic. Riley reminded me so much of Alex I kept forgetting I was in fact reading from Riley’s POV and not Alex’s
So back to the book, I loved that Riley was courageously honest just like the the rest of his fam. He showed no doubts about Zoey where as most men would be petrified they just married someone in Vegas. Instead He openly shows his affections for her in front of everyone and claimed her as his.
Zoey was amazing, I loved her too as soon as she claimed herself as her family’s black sheep. I loved that she was adventurous and a silent rebel to her parents. Riley and his Texan lifestyle seemed perfect for her to grow out of her city, cookie cutter lifestyle her parents boxed her into & you really see her grow and open up on the ranch.
I enjoyed that Zoey’s personality matched Riley’s to a T and they were so cute together. They had a ton of chemistry it was insane and even though their relationship started off fast Riley was so romantic that the book didn’t have the cheesy insta love feel. It was much more genuine. It was a definitely swoon worthy and you need this type of romance book in your life ASAP! I cannot wait for The next book!
When Riley and Zoey wake up after a crazy night in Vegas, and they’re, ooops, married, will they decide to stay that way? Or will Zoey decide she has to cave to her family again, and go back home? Riley’s left the ball in her court…
I haven’t read any of the stories in the series this is spun off from, but I was easily able to get into this one, and I loved it, especially Riley! I love how they fall into each other, how easily and how well, they fit with each other. I was a tad disappointed near the end when Zoey’s stupid decisions hurt Riley, but he was able to get past it, so I was too. If you are in the mood for something sweet and sexy, then Hitching the Cowboy should be on your TBR now.
Thank goodness for Kennedy Fox starting the Circle B Ranch serious because I need a new fix for my Bishop Boy addiction!

„Hang on, cowboy. It’s gonna be a bumpy ride.”
I’m obsessed with everything that’s circling around our beloved ranch from under Kennedy Fox’s pen. These women have created such a beautiful and realistic world that I feel like a member of the Bishop family and I experience every event with my whole self. No wonder that an unexpected marriage in the family shocked me so much! And like a nosy cousin, I watched the play out with a smirk.
It’s said that what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. However, when you spend there a wonderful night with a person with whom you have an unique chemistry, it’s difficult to consider it mistake. Even if you marry this person during alcoholic intoxication. That’s what happened with Zoey and Riley. And although they come from different parts of the country and live completely different lives, none of them were in a hurry to cancel their elopment. But can they build a future together without knowing anything about each other? Was this one memorable night a twist of fate that set them on its path?
I have said it before, but I will say it again- I will NEVER EVER have enough of Bishops and their ranch. It’s a magical place where wonderful people live and the environment makes you feel at home. Hitching the Cowboy is kept in the same atmosphere – it’s lovely, charming, steamy and funny.
I guarantee that you’ll fall in love with Riley instantly. Alex’s son is charming, masculine and so hot! He took after his father, that’s for sure. That cowboy will make you swoon!
Zoey seemed to have arranged her whole life, but meeting Riley was the best that could have happened to her. The girl quickly settled in on the ranch and caught the sympathy of the whole family, with reciprocity.
Watching their relationship growth was wonderful. Their path to a happy ending was adorable, amusing and so sweet!
Do yourself a favor and snatch this novel right now! Hitching the Cowboy is another amazing read from Kennedy Fox. Highly recommend!
I love me some Bishop cowboys and Riley did not disappoint! I loved this book! From the very beginning I was hooked. Riley and Zoey had an instant connection. Riley, like his dad, is one swoony cowboy! I love that he was ready to do everything he could to make his relationship with Zoey work. I loved Zoey’s adventurous spirit. I really liked seeing Zoey come into her own and stand up against her family for her happiness. I especially loved how the Bishop family accepted her exactly as she was, which was something she desperately needed. It’s always a good time at the Circle B Ranch with the Bishop family, and Riley has proven that this next generation of Bishop cowboys are just as sexy and swoon worthy as their predecessors. Definitely read this book y’all and if you really want all the swoony cowboys read the Bishop Brothers Series too. Start with Taming Him and read all about Riley’s parents.
Hitching The Cowboy is book one in this interconnected new series from the writing duo and my first read from them. From what I’ve learned, the hero in this story is second generation from another book series. What I loved with this kind of romance is the fun, cozy and nosy way these family members are with the central characters.
The story started with Riley treated his bestfriend to a weekend trip to Las Vegas for his birthday. What he didn’t expect was waking up, naked and married to a beautiful stranger, Zoey. They say what happens in Vegas, stay in Vegas, but these two had an instant connection enough that they would try and see if they could really stay married. Though they encountered some problems as was expected from total strangers, they tried to really get to know each other. This is a small town, cowboy romance with a light, sweet, feel good romantic vibe. I can’t wait to read Diesel’s story next.
Another fabulous cowboy read for Kennedy Fox, this is a spin off from the Bishop Brothers, but easily read as a standalone, though you would be missing out on some fabulous hot cowboy reading if you do!!
Riley Bishop, a hard worker on the ranch, lives and loves his ranch life and works hard like his dad. He’s headed to Vegas with his best friend Diesel for a bit of down time. These two are not looking for trouble but can’t resist daring each other, whilst there, never having backed out of a dare neither will resist and the other knows it. Riley dares Bishop to audition as a stripper in a club competition, which he does ridiculously well and threatens to get Riley back.
Whilst in a club they meet a bachelorette party and Riley is smitten by Zoey, sister to the bachelorette, they have an instant connection and get on like wildfire. Zoey is there for her sister, glad to be away and a chance to unwind, she is made to feel not good enough by her parents as she didn’t want to follow in the family tradition of being a doctor and instead went into hairdressing, which they do not approve of and are trying to get her to marry a doctor instead. She can’t get enough of the cowboy she has met in the club, talking, dancing, drinking, getting married on a dare…..
I loved Riley, such a hot, sweet and caring character, he falls for Zoey hard and fast and puts his heart and soul into trying to make their fake marriage work. Zoey not only falls for Riley but for the ranch and the whole Bishop family and their way of life, she fits in perfectly, and Riley wants nothing more than for her to stay. But Zoey hasn’t been completely honest with Riley and has something to tell him….
I loved nothing more than being back on the Bishop Ranch and meeting up with all the family again, such a loving and caring family, they all pull together and have each other’s backs. I wouldn’t mind going there for a holiday myself, a bit of cowboy rancher time with the Bishop’s sounds wonderful! I can’t wait for Rowan and Diesel’s story next, should be a corker!
WOW .. Riley as a Cowboy ?? We can ALL remember when he was born .. we cried then and you will cry for him again ..
When he gets hitched on a dare in Vegas who knew this girl would turn his world upside down .. the B & B is his life but when Zoey shows up to see if the feeling she feels for him are the same as what she hopes he feels for her ?? Or she will high tail it back to Phoenix .. But let me tell you the happiness they i the share when they are together it is nothing like what some of the other Bishop men felt when they met there forever someone,
Zoey has some baggage but don’t we ALL ?? But when she doesn’t tell Riley the truth will it all come crashing down around them. Where Riley is from Relationships are built on truth and commitment so when he unexpectedly find out Zoeys secret he isn’t sure what he truly believes or feels for Zoey since he feels just .. BETRAYED !!
Can she work her magic and get him to hear her side of the story or will there love story end before it even beings ?? Thank god for Diesel ..
Seeing ALL the Bishop’s again will make your heart gallop !! LOVED IT !!
Hello Bishop Family, I’ve missed You so much !
My heart is melting, LITERALLY, for sure Kennedy Fox steal my heart another time by Hitching The Cowboy. I will love this duet forever beacuse they gave me the most amazing adopted family ever – and all readers knows it too – Bishops are the best, right ?
It was so amazing to back to their ranch and „old ” folks here and there. Maybe anyone won’t believe me, but with writting this I have very, very big smile on my face. Hitching The Cowboy is nothing less than wild, but charming romance at the finest.
I was sure that old “Bishop crew” aka parents gave me the best love stories ever HOWEVER , OMG ! Riley is such a gentleman with being… really manly man … Sorry Alex, but it looks that Your son seal more of my heart !
Since the begining Hitching the Cowboy sucked me in compeletely. From paige by paige I couldn’t put this book down. I was enjoyg this story THAT much, can’t lie. Alex and Zoey were sexy, sweet and very funny… ahh how much I missed Bishop kind of humor. It was addictive reading because Hitching a Cowboy, like in every love story has not only easy things aroung. Kennedy Fox makes me gasped out loud more than few times. .. but for what we have this amazing author duo? They give the best breathless moments ever… with lots of love in the background. I can’t get enough of Zoey and Riley, I want to reread „them” over and over again… just can’t stop.
Must read story for everyone who loves… love, because it’s the only thing that matter !
Love, Love, Love!
I have never read a series about the second generation family members from a series I’ve read and loved. I’m so grateful for this and the chance to revisit the whole Bishop family as time has gone on. Circle B Ranch will always hold a special place in my heart and I’m so glad we get to revisit it as well as everyone who lives there.
Riley Bishop is everything! He is so much like his father, Alex, and I loved every second of his story. When he takes his best friend, Diesel, to Las Vegas for his twenty-first birthday, Riley ends up married to Zoey, the woman he just met. Riley is the black sheep in her family, never feeling approved of or encouraged to do what makes her happy.
When Zoey makes a surprise trip to the ranch to see if they have something real, not just a quick marriage in Vegas, neither of them are ready for how real and immediate their attraction and feelings are. I loved how they took things slowly to find out more about each other outside of their insane chemistry. Their journey to forever was not an easy one and there are some major bumps in the road and I couldn’t read their story fast enough.
I am so excited to get my hands on Rowan and Diesel’s story! They have both already stolen my heart and I can’t wait to watch them navigate to a happily ever after! I hope we get a million more books set in this world with the Bishop family. I don’t want it to ever end!
Grateful to have received a complimentary ARC copy to honestly review.
What a fun read!!!! Zoey & Riley were the perfect match, even if they didn’t know it when they started 😉
I loved how kind, caring, and sexy our hero Riley was. He was so sweet to Zoey from the moment they met.
Zoey is somewhere of an outcast, looking to fit in and be loved. She is tough, independent, but sweet. I loved her!!! This story was so great to read. It was interesting, light hearted, fun, and sexy.
How I love the duo Kennedy Fox. They know what I like and they give it to me.
This book is amazing, the chemistry between the main characters is .
I love the development of their story and Riley, let’s just say all of the men Kennedy Fox creates are my book boyfriends. All of them. Riley is no exception, plus he’s a Texas boy.
So, great writing, great story, great characters, great chemistry, great book.
5 all the way!
The Bishops are back with an “oopsie, we’re married” in Vegas … let the romance games begin 🙂
These two made such a sweet story and I’m a sucker for second gen storylines so total #win for me! I especially liked that this author duo once again wrote a fantastic story full of emotion with a slow burn for Riley and Zoey. They had instant attraction but they took their time exploring it.
Excellent start to this next generation of Bishops! I can’t wait to read more!
So a little confession, the only books by Kennedy Fox I haven’t read yet are the Bishop Boys series. I was a little worried that I would be a little lost with not having the parents’ back story. Turns out I had nothing to worry about! The authors did a fantastic job with adding little details of the backstory through out the book.
Riley is the total package (sexy cowboy who wears his heart on his sleeve) and will having you falling for him…hard. Zoey is the perfect match for Riley with her sweetness and plenty of spunk to keep him on his toes. I loved watching them get to know each other and give the marriage a shot. As with all Kennedy Fox books, you get a little kick in the gut when you think things are going to go south but ends up working out in the end. Definitely reading the Bishop Boys series before the next Circle B Ranch book comes out!
