I enjoyed the story a very easy read.
It was ok but did not like that you have to read 3 books to get to the end of the story
This was interesting. I listened to The Fix Up first. So this was interesting to listen to afterward. However, it was entertaining. That said, I believe I like the hero better than the heroine. She was just so…. judgemental and crap. It’ll be interesting to listen to books two and three.
This is part one of a three part story. This story of Olivia and Noah starts out with them discovering that to inherit the company their fathers owned together, they have to get married. The only problem is that Olivia hates his guts.
Kendall Ryan writes very steamy stories with interesting plots. Not sure why they break them up like this, but there’s always something at the end that makes you determined to listen to the next part of the multi-part stories pronto.
I listened to the audio version of this book. The narrations by Ava Erickson and Teddy Hamilton were excellent.
f: Olivia
m: Noah
(Dual POVs)
I loved the way Noah was completely on board with the idea of marriage from the beginning and I really enjoyed the dynamic of his cocky attitude and Olivia’s hate-your-guts defiance to the idea. The banter between these two was pretty funny and entertaining. I appreciated these two not rushing into things and it was heartwarming to see some of Olivia’s walls melt away as she connected with Noah over having a common enemy and things they’ve been through in the past, such as both of them losing their mothers.
Overall, I enjoyed the plot of this book and thought it was a cute, light-hearted read. This book definitely left me eager for the next one, especially with that cliffhanger!
Favorite Quotes:
It’s as if Olivia Cane alone possesses an antidote to my charm. And that only makes me want to watch her surrender to me that much more. -Noah
“Just friends? I’ve got my sights set a little higher.”
Gee, I never would have guessed, what with his constant attempts to steer the conversation toward sex.
An intriguing and fun story. I enjoyed the sassy, fiery banter between Olivia and Noah and let’s not forget the sexual chemistry was off the charts. I’m interested in finding out what comes next.
I listened to the audio book. Had I any idea this ended in a cliffhanger, I wouldn’t have wasted my time. The description sounded like this may be a light, sexy, somewhat funny romance. Nope!
Olivia’s dislike of Noah, which I didn’t understand, got to be irritating, as well as her waffling. Will I, Won’t I? Talk about someone throwing out mixed signals. At least you have to give it to Noah that he was consistent.
I pushed forward with this book because I thought I would at least get my HEA. NOpe! Didn’t happen. I think the description should state that this is a cliffhanger, or at minimum, you have to read however many other books to get to the HEA. I doubt I will bother.
I borrowed the audiobook from the library for my commute listening…holy cow, I did NOT expect to be sitting in my car even after I parked, trying to finish a chapter. I immediately bought the entire set on Kindle so I could dive into #2! The chemistry between Noah and Olivia is combustible, but their desire to see the family company stay IN the family is even stronger. Yes, it has a cliffhanger…it’s a series people – definitely ignore the haters giving it minimal stars. Read it and you’ll be hooked too!
What a fun book. And it’s far from over at the end. Warning, there is a cliffhanger. While some people get upset over cliffhangers I don’t mind it in this case. This story had me involved from the first page. Noah and Olivia grew up together since their fathers were business partners. The death of Noah’s father causes them to reconnect because to inherit the business they must get married. Problem is Noah is a playboy and Olivia is a hard working business woman with no time for games. But in order to save the business that is to be their legacy they have to get along and try marriage. Noah is all for it. He has wanted Olivia since day one. Olivia is hesitant. She has a secret crush on him but she refuses to be some trophy wife. She is smart and independent and is going to prove it. The sexual tension between these characters is so addicting. I don’t want to love Noah but I do. He is cocky but sweet at the same time. I absolutely love Olivia. She is a perfect example of a beautiful woman who also is strong and can do business just as well as any man. I understood her hesitance with Noah. But my fingers are super crossed for this couple. I can’t start book two fast enough. I need to know what happens with this couple. And I am curious if Olivia even knows that part of the contract says they have to produce an heir in 90 days!
Oh man, this hooked me. I really like Noah, he’s liked Olivia since they were kids. He really wants give their fake marriage a go. Olivia was busting his balls once she found out about the arranged marriage (to save their father’s company ), but deep down, she’s been crushing hard since back in the day too. They want to save that company so now they’re both willing to do whatever it takes. Even though it ended on a cliffy, I can’t wait to see where this story is going to go.
Finally finished this book! I wasn’t consistent in reading it, but whenever I did get the chance to read, i remembered everything! Anyways, I truly enjoyed this book! Back in 2016(lol yeah I know 2 yrs ago), I stumbled across this book & I started to read it. Well after I started, I couldn’t put it down! Noah & Olivia’s Story was full of everything! I can’t wait to dive into the next few books! Kendall hooked me from the very beginning! #Noah #Olivia #Love #Wedding
The perfect afternoon read. Hitched Vol 1 was fun, sexy and full of swoon. It’s a short read but being a serial/novella that’s to be expected.
Noah isn’t an over the top alpha or cocky man in a suit who has to be tamed. He is just a guy who has had his sights set on someone and now that he has a chance for her, he is going to go for it. They are very different but together they make sense. He likes to play and she likes to work. Noah will help her relax and she will help him succeed in saving the family business. I love them as a couple already.
“Why do you call me Snowflake?”
“Because you’re just like a snowflake. Beautiful and unique and with one touch you’ll be wet.”
Kendall’s books always have excellent dialog and character development. She is a master story teller and her ability to write addicting stories is something to be proud of. This is why I always recommend her books. You can never go wrong with them.
“We were supposed to be discussing what we have in common.”
“Yes. What else?” She drums her fingers on the table.
“I, for one like anal. You?”
Now about that ending….OMG WHY DID YOU DO THAT TO ME
enjoyed very much looking forward to more of this series
Cliffhanger, this is only volume one.
I just found this book to get interested in. It probably just wasn’t my cup of tea’ and not a bad book.
I loved the story…all the way up to no ending unless you buy the next book! I hate that!
It was a good story, but I am so SICK AND TIRED of this new trend to stop a story right smack in the middle to force you to buy the next book. Mind you, I don’t mind sequels, but it is shameless to stop in the middle of everything. Won’t read this author again.
Great book!
This book had a strange ending and was not a good read.
It’s serialized. The ending is a cliffhanger and that is not made clear.
