Wilder and King are talking in their friend’s Lodge as a BDSM event is taking place there this weekend and wishing the lady they want to share was into the lifestyle. Suddenly, they spot her in Fet Wear, attending the event. Sarah Gandry, the woman they have wanted for years is there and it’s time to make all their dreams come true. The situation helps the three of them realize they have the same feelings for each other and must do all they can to bring their hopes to light. I loved that all three of them feel the same and do their best to make it all work. Sarah is shocked to see King and Wilder at the BDSM event but is swiftly shown that she really wants what they do. This was definitely a feel good story and I loved reading about a menage that starts off with everyone involved being on the same page as each other.
Another hit for Vanessa Vale with this book.
I’m a sucker for hot, cowboy men who want to take care of a woman together.
A very fun series to read! Hard to put down!
Love this author!
Here we are with the fourth book in the Steele Ranch series, Hitched. By reading the synopsis, I was thrilled for a different take on the long lost Steele Sister, but the execution was not there for me. I wish Vale would have went further or even just gave us a little more back story on these characters since they were not meeting for the first time.
King, Wilder, and Sarah grew up together and have loved each other for just as long. However, there inability to admit their hidden desires kept them apart. It is not until an accidental meeting at a BDSM weekend that they are able to share their true desires with one another.
The development of these three relationship was different than the others, so the plot twist was different as well. It seemed rushed and unfortunately very predictable. Although enjoyable, this was not my favorite in the series.
Best friends King and Wilder have been in love with Sarah since she was just 13 years old and they were 19. Being older, however, they never acted on that love other than to protect her as best as they could as they watched and waited for her to grow up. When she returned back to Barlow after college, they attempted to date her separately, but after just a date each, Sarah turned them down. They’ve been lonely and brooding ever since.
Sarah had been in love with Wilder and King since she turned 13 and they stuck up for her at one of her mother’s weddings. When they asked to date her, however, they dated separately, and while they were sweet, charming and attentive, Sarah didn’t feel the spark she was hoping too . . .especially since she wanted them both . . .together.
When fate intervenes and brings Sarah, King and Wilder together at a BDSM night at a BDSM party, this would be trio gets a second chance to be honest about everything they want from each other and a relationship . . . the the guys definitely want to put their rings on Sarah as well as their collar.
Before the three of them have a chance to be a family, however, secrets that could tear them apart forever need to be revealed. Will Sarah, King and Wilder be Montana’s newest threesome, or will they be torn apart before they have a chance to say I do?
Vanessa Vale gave fans of the Steele Ranch series a great twist with Steele sister number four. Sarah has a few secrets she has been keeping her entire life . . . and they don’t all revolve around her kinky fantasies. I really loved her character and her need to explore her true sexual nature and not settle for less than the spark she needed to be happy.
King and Wilder are quite the match for Sarah. They’ve always known they wanted her and waited for her to be old enough to commit and tried to play it safe only to have it backfire on them. They definitely won’t make that mistake again and while they can’t wait to help Sarah explore her fantasies, they’ll only give her everything she is asking about once they are married. It’s super sweet!
Hitched was a great addition to the series. 4 stars!
I absolutely love this series and i would definitely recommend it.
Sexy like the rest of her books. Always a good, quick read!
Hitched is the 4th book in the Steele Ranch Series. Sarah Gandry is the 4th daughter by Aiden Steele. Aiden spread his seed far and wide. He left each daughter with a share of the Steele Ranch and there are 5 daughters in all. So, we know there is at least 1 more book in this series. Each of these books could be read as a standalone.
And, as stated from another author.
“Though it isn’t necessary to read the other books, your experience will be enhanced if you do.”
Hitched is a ménage romance as with all the books in this series. King and Wilder are best friends and they tried dating Sarah each on their own but, when Sarah shows up in the BDSM club that King and Wilder are at. They wanted to go all caveman on her. They have wanted her for a while.
I enjoyed the telling of King, Wilder and Sarah’s story. I am now looking forward to the next book in the Steele Ranch Series.
This book is a bit different from the other books in the series, which focus on the “lost” daughters of a ranch tycoon in Barlow, Montana, who find love when they come to claim their inheritance. This time, Sarah doesn’t find love unexpectedly, she discovers love that was always there.
Wilder and King have their hearts set on Sarah, they just don’t think she wants them back or that she wants the same things they do. They try to woo her individually, because they don’t think she would be open to what they need and they will have to ease her into their lifestyle. Sarah wants things….she just doesn’t know how to go about getting what she wants. She doesn’t think Wilder or King can give her what she needs, so she eases away from them. Then one wild weekend……
There is a lot of miscommunication between the characters in this story. As always, it was an excellent example of menage romance, and I enjoyed it a lot. I was hooked from the beginning of this series and this book was not an exception to this. There is lots of emphasis on the concept of “the family that you choose, instead of the family you are born to” in the entire series, and despite elements of BDSM, the women are treated with respect and love, which is awesome. While this book is totally a stand alone, the story is much richer after reading the previous books. I’d recommend this book, and the entire series, to anyone looking for a fun, light hearted menage romance!
ARC – I voluntarily offered to review this book with no obligations and my opinions are honest
Sarah had loved and King since she was 13 years old.
As the years went by, her love for them only grew stronger.
However, it seems that it was not meant to be.
Wilder + King did not know what to do to make their intentions any more clearer.
They wanted Sarah to be theirs.
However, it seemed that they were missing something.
A chance encounter in a very “special kinky” kind of retreat changed everything.
Now they are really on the right track to make this relationship long lasting.
The storytelling + the character’s build were awesome!
It has all the ingredients that you need for a great book!
The next installment in the Steele Ranch series brings more steam than the others! HITCHED tilts more heavily into the BDSM realm than the other books, but it was missing more of the danger that was peppered through the first books in the series. But what it did have made the book just as enjoyable a read as the others.
In this story the Steele heir is Sarah Gandry. She already lives in Barlow and quite frankly knows exactly who her family is, which makes her different from the other heroines in the series. But the other thing that makes her different is that she is already known to the hero’s, King and Wilder, of the story. I liked reading exactly how their relationship started and then progressed. But so many misconceptions on both sides!
Sarah wants more than a vanilla relationship … and it doesn’t seem that King or Wilder would be up for the task even though she is attracted to both. But surprise, surprise … both men love some kink and knowing that Sarah is a natural submissive makes both of their dominant sides explode with want and possession.
But boy howdy … are her momma and brother pieces of work. Gotta read it to believe it! It is a wonder that Sarah is not permanently scarred by this women.
All in all, I really enjoyed the story. Not as much as some of the others, but it had a great premise and was well written and engaging. Vanessa Vale is creating an awesome series and great characters that are likable. Now I am definitely looking forward to the next book in the series just to see what happens next and who is next to fall!
